40k players singlehandedly keeping the XXXXL jersey market afloat
>>
>>97836118
40k is a boon for the wargaming hobby because it acts as a containment game for the worst elements of the community.
>>
No one wants competitive games to be bogged down by 2 hour arguments by autists over if a piece of rubble or vine blocks LOS because some aphantasic niggers simply MUST have proper representation of visuals. It's also impossible to balance battlefields when you have muh realism retards placing nonstandard shapes because "muh ruined structures" everywhere. The hobby lives or dies by how much it can be taken seriously and if you don't have structure and rules you'll never be able to market it to the real consumers: the competitive players.
