Long gone are the days where you could collect a small army of models and then use those models the rest of your life, as this is bad for profits and shareholders.Also, saying the current stuff is not to your liking (because you invested time and money in what is now unplayable models) is a waste of time, as today's current players are currently investing the same into theirs and will defend their current models as much as you complain about yours. But then, GW (looks at the simple rules) has never really gone for the cleverest sort of gamer.I suggest you either try to find other older players (if you can) and play your favourite older edition with them, or try investing your time, money and energy into other games, that preferably arnt as fixated on you only using the latest (fand soon to be squatted) expensive thing. How about historicals, you might also learn interesting things about the real world, instead of a constantly changing made up advert. Moaning about GW's sales tactics on this basket weaving forum will not change a thing.
