Which were the best Warhammer Quest games and which were the worst? No contrarianism or seethe for setting, just looking at game mechanics & fun factor.
>>97849827>best gamesNoneBut Cursed City had pimpin' minis, far better than Dogwater.Black Fortress too.
The original and silver tower were honestly the only really good ones. Darkwater tried capturing the gloomhaven audience but the fucking lead for it quit after the game was shown off which shows how confident he was in it. Cursed city was a chore but I really liked the setting, black stone fortress was all around boring. But I don’t like sci fi stuff, at least not when it’s so British.
>>97849827I didn't play all of them, but I liked Blackstone Fortress and Cursed City, Darkwater was bad imo.
>>97849827My group played the heck out of Blackstone fortress and the expansions. Then we got Cursed City. We played through the base game with some modifications so we didn't have to suffer through constant rescue missions, hunts and scavenge missions. It was bad but we stuck it out to finish the base game. I changed the end text so as Radukar started to transform we all just kept attacking him instead of watching slack-jawed and the bastard was hacked to pieces and the witch hunter burned the remains while the priestess and the mage sealed the tomb so nothing could ever ever bring him back. The end, hard stop and no sequel because fuck playing more of this pointless game.
>>97849827The original from the 90s is the best
