Sup /tg/.Do any of you have ttrpgs you can recommend with good / interesting monster hunting mechanics?I'm currently working through how best to run an episodic Predator game for a few of the guys with good taste in my friend group (with them playing the predators). I've debated a few things, namely heavily hacking either one of the Börgs or Delta Green, but I really would rather not re-invent the wheel when it comes to monster hunting. For context, this is to overall gameloop I'm envisioning:>starship as hub (with simple basebuilding that I can steal from other shit, no biggie)>start of session they pick a planet and a target prey>can prep while en route (including upgrades based on interactions with other sapients, other Yautja, and prey they've killed)>planetfall>hunt 'phase' (tracking, investigation, etc etc)>kill 'phase' (party tries to kill monster and get trophies)>Surviving players extract to their spaceship and fly off
>>97850590All you need to play is "The Hard Way"Which I can't even re-post anymore, because some moron decided we can't get PDFs posted on fucking /tg/
>>97850637Thanks anon I found a pdf.At any stretch this looks super easy to mold and staple things onto which I'd prefer over the systems I was looking at prior.
>>97850590Just treat it as an extended skill challenge.
>>97851258Care to elaborate a bit? You mean like how one might run a chase sequence, right?
