>looking for a new group after old one breaks up due to life getting in the way>try to sign up for a game that was being advertised well within the time limit the GM set>haha sorry anon but you messaged me right after I selected the players I wanted better luck next timeHow do you find a group in this economy?
>>97864532Play better games like adnd which can host up to 50 players.
>>97864746You've never actually played a tabletop RPG before, huh.
>>97864746I don't think that was ever a thing outside of tournament games
>old group falling apart due to scheduling issues>spend a lot of time doodling stuff from session>at a gathering of people from high school>dude I barely know approaches me>"Hey bro, I saw you post your art from your campaign on social media. I was wondering if you're free, we have a person missing because his wife is pregnant">join new group
>>97864785Technically, there is no upper limit to the number of people that could participate in a Westmarches campaign. You'd just need a really good filing system, and a secretary.
>>97864532Run a game yourself. In before a million excuses trying to dismiss lazy playeroid faggotry.
>>97864532Unironically this. >>97865148 Run a game yourself, recruit other DMs who can take a turn running after you do. In my current group, everyone has to DM a campaign where it's their turn to run. Nobody gets to just be a player all the time. It cuts down on alot of entitlement and whinging because everyone has to contribute instead of just expecting free entertainment that they can take for granted.
>>97865148This.The day I started running for myself was when I got the kinds of games I always wanted. No more sitting and listening, I can just make my team and go straight into the combat and exploration.
