>TQSex robots. What does that have to do with card games? Well, they'd play them with you. Just TRY to guess what your prize for winning is!
>>97866981You get to choose the next game you both play?
>>97866981>What does that have to do with card games? Well, they'd play them with youGod. I want this so much.Trying to get my GF to do anything but veg infront of the streaming brain cancer device or going out and spending 700$ for a mixed drink is like pulling teeth.
>>97866898>new game comes out>intentionally low supply>prices are retarded
>>97867121Eh we'll have to wait until the game actually comes out. These alpha kits were only sent to journos and youtubers afaik
>>97867731Are you joking? Blood is already in the water. Other games are crashing in value. Of course this game is going to get dog-piled by investor bros.
>>97866898I just wish for more support for high complexity games like Warlord (and arguably Riftbound but they're complex with retarded rule writing)
>>97867121What are good prices?
>>97868162$1 per boxanything else is greed
I've tried Flesh and Blood a few times at a local and have been have a decent enough time with it. Anybody here have more experience with it enough to sell me on the long term or scare me off?
>Cyberpunk will only have 2 sets per yearGame's gonna be dead before year 3. Meta will be so stale.
>>97869027The meta will be stale because it's a boring IP mining game. Sorcery is one set a year and is only growing more powerful.
>>97866898>What are you hopes for the future of the hobby?I want holographic 3D effect moving illustrations
>>97869044>The meta will be stale because it's a boring IPThis. The people in charge of making cyberpunk anything have completely lost touch with what made CP cool and interesting. All this amounts to is corporatized flaunting of the latest push to make it relevant again, IE sucking off the video game (tragically bad) and the anime (pathetically shallow) all while comiditizing the experience of being a punk. If you need a corporation to sell you something to feel punk then you've lost the magic of the setting. Ya dig, my rig-nig?
they should have adapted online gwent for tabletop
>>97869027It'd be DOA regardless of how many sets they release an year. No one is actually hyped about playing this game. Fuck, I don't think I've seen people hyped about collecting the cards. Both gameplay and card design look so utterly uninspired.
good, scalpers can invest in this shitty fomo doa game and get fucked
>>97869867I actually for once agree. This is a retard containment grift and I'm not the least bit sorry I'm missing out. Place your bets for how long it will be before the bottom falls out. For me it's 2 years post ks campaign.
>>97869835? I know its not every card but I considering the count I think this box has to have at least some digital cards in paper right? The w3 deluxe version of gwent has way less than this version
huuuuuuh guys? that card is busted
>>97870171turns out the error found in the JP card is the intended effect where it takes from either graveyard instead of your own lmao.
I’ll be honest: card games scare me.
>>97868681The core mechanics of the game are great. But the game has some significant issues as a product:>high skill ceiling and low RNG means new players will get absolutely fucked for the first 20+ games>mechanically unique cards at extreme rarity levels means building a competitive deck costs $600+>parasitic set design with scale creep means the top decks are replaced in their entirety every couple setsIt's a fun game, really thinky and complex, but it's hard to recommend. If you can reliably find "proxies" that are indistinguishable double sleeved, and have a local community, it's worth getting into. If not, skip it.
>Evelynn Champion Unit in set 3>Stealth focusedLegend when? I want to build a deck around my demon wife.
>>97870865as a teemo player this makes me cum
>>97871105That's what Eve does best.
That Naruto Mythos tcg will flop first
>>97871251>mytos y lehendias de naruto CCG (crap card game)jajaja but the boys and I are already busy "playing" THIS
>>97869989Had a chance to play this at the last UK Games Expo, it plays just like the W3 version and is quite pog
>>97871372When I first saw it go on sale as a standalone I thought that was a shame, I'm eagerly awaiting the other 500 some odd cards that were in digital but until then I guess I can just play it on tts or something
Is union arena any good? The boxes are cheap despite all the crossovers which was surprising to me
>>97869989>>97871372never understood the appeal of getting the W3 version in paper. it's just a badly balanced reskin of Condottiere that doesn't support multiplayer. like it works fine in its original context of a game within a game, but as an RL game it's just substandard. if they actually open it up to what the digital game evolved into then that's a different story. that's actually its own thing.
>>97866898bunny people
>>97872420Poor bunny in white armor.
Slowly but surely continuing my quest to build an insect themed deck for every English language TCG I can get my hands on. MTG, Yugioh, and Pokemon are easy enough.Vanguard I've got a Gredora deck for older formats, I'm holding off on Veleno with the new Overdress stuff for now out of hope for something more buggy.Picked up Royal Base for Digimon.I think Myu is what I should be looking into for Wixoss but still trying to figure out where to start for that.Battle Spirits seems to have a fair share of bugs.Flesh and Blood doesn't really have any options unless I broaden to spiders and go with Arakni? Similarly I don't know much about League but I'd guess Elise is probably the closest I'll find whenever she comes out?Don't think there's any options for Grand Archive, Ashes, or Force of Will that I've seen.Might try and track down some old Duel Masters Colony Beetle stuff? I managed to put together a pretty fun Danian deck for Chaotic from secondhand purchases. Any advice? Any of your personal favorite games I missed that I can build bugs in?
>>97871503>Is union arena any good?Yes if you don't mind winning/losing because of luck.No if you are a competitive playerIn other words, it's a casual tcg
>>97872647Sounds fine to me. I mostly want something else to play with friends, I'll probably pick up a couple starter decks to fuck around with.
>>97872603Battle Spirits Saga has an ant based archetype specially for you anon, good luck finding them
>>97866898the game is surprisingly elegant and very crunchy. would be cool to send off some teams to MPC and play with current era players, or do what the game did and revisit a player's best year.
>>97872934dual-faced pitcher/batter cards wouldve been cool, i dont even really understand how to not use a DH in the lineup
>>97872951>>97872934They revived MLB showdown? There used to be a scene for that where I lived (but yugioh was always more popular)
>>97873904>Lorcana S TierSweet!Uh, wait, viable for running what?
>>97873925https://youtu.be/kVcpJxHBPMA
>>97873937>English title STILL cuts off before it gets to the point>it's not translated >I don't speak sushiI mean, thanks for the link, but I still don't know the answer.
>>97873951idk use the youtube auto dub feature
>>97873957...Would you believe that I forgot that was a thing?
>>97873973I didn't even know it was a thing, it just automatically did it when I clicked on the video
>>97873925>>97873937So, to save time for anyone wondering, the tier list was about which games these guys think are most viable for running in a single product specialty store. Despite being a Lorcana fan, I'm actually kind of shocked that they'd hold it in such high regards there. I know 'westaboos' are a thing, but I didn't think Disney was that popular there. Pleasantly surprised.
>>97874012Disney doesn't have the negative image it has in the west over in Japan, people are content with enjoying the cute characters and consuming whatever they produce, for better or worse.
>>97874012Finished watching the whole thing. FAB fans will be glad to know that he nearly put it in S before dropping it down to A.Well, anyhow, it sounds like the big reason Lorcana was the only S tier had to do with the fact that there wasn't much competition despite it being very popular, so a specialty store would be very profitable. Other popular games like Pokémon and MTG already have plenty of competition, so they ranked lower. So, this was less a video about which games were the best, but about which ones had more potential for sales profit in the region.
>>97874091>negative imageI often wonder about this. I know there are plenty of reasons to view Disney negatively, but what particular beefs do any of you have with it? I'm curious to know. Personally, I'm not a fan of modern Disney, as it seems like they've forgotten how to make a good movie and just keep regurgitating classics and expecting us to swallow it, and how they seem more interested in buying existing popular things instead of innovating. Also their war on copyright limitations is just ridiculous. But, I grew up on Disney and Magic cards, so nostalgia-bait Lorcana was a perfect fit for me in terms of both gameplay and IP.
>>97874129I don't have any particularly strong feelings about them, I like the movies I'm interested in and everything else is just in the "exists but pay no attention to" corner of my mind space. My opinion is that unless someone has a certain degree of prior investment into the brand I don't think they would react so strongly to almost whatever it is Disney is doing to the point of ostracizing the unwitting fans honestly, though people do like doing weird things to justify their own actions and opinions I suppose.
>>97873904>sorcery second to lastIt's over.
