Previous thread>>97834601Our party: wizard Shal Bal (recently turned swole AND thicc thanks to a Ring of 3 Wishes), cleric Tarl Desanea (just a nice guy) and Ren O' The Blade (he smoulders with generic rage) have cleaned out Sokol Keep, and have made some headway investigating the death of Shal's mentor Ranthor of Cormyr. But all is not as it seems...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v301ns_xyS8

Somebody in the previous thread suggested someone make fanart of Shal. A quick search on the Forgotten Realms wiki says there is official art... but it's pretty lacklustre>>97870114>getting filtered by 80s fantasy lit>on /tg/lollmao, even

It's fucking wild to see an official D&D story where monstrous races are treated as abominations
OP here, I figured given that we're over halfway through this book we might as well discuss what to do next: carry on with this trilogy, or try something else. I've got my own ideas as to what the "something else" could be, but I'm always open to suggestions.https://strawpoll.com/e6Z2Arke6gN
Thanks OP for helping tg be a little bit better with every post. In case you guys haven't noticed, tg is burning down to the fucking ground.
>>97875830This place used to be so chill, now it's just incels getting mad at seeing those uppity negroes on M:TG cards
>>97876297It's been bad for awhile but now it seems it is getting worse.

The Phlan series was fun both as novels and video games, although by today's standards it wasn't very grindy and not a deep storytelling game. Still, I have fond memories of the game and its sequels. Why not try something different and post the "Return to the Pool of Radiance" homebrew adventure some anon did a few years back.
