>WOTC: "Norman Osborn can have the goblin type because the Marvel Universe is supposed to be more like reality, thus he's the closest thing to a 'real' goblin the setting has."
>Also WOTC: Reminds everyone that the same universe has had honest-to-god merfolk in it since day fucking one.

Sorry about randomly bringing up UB slop here, but I can't be the only one bothered by this right?

namor is a real merfolk, he's not just a mutant with water powers, he's literally a merman whose mom is from Atlantis. His only Mutant superpower is flight, the super strength and shit is natural.
they're literally called "homo mermanus" in-universe, that's about as merfolk as it gets.

I don't see why he shouldn't have the tribe when Innistrad, Zendikar, and Dominaria vampires are all "vampire" despite one being legitimate undead monsters, the other being technically-living but under an ancient blood curse (hence sorin having a spark), and the third being humans tainted by Eldrazi in the ancient past and just not knowing it

I don't know MtG that well so I'll be quiet, because there's like multiple guys with goblin themes and goblin looks in marvel
