>>97886958The good news is that even with the atrocious release cadence when you read it as an anthology the comic has extremely good pacing, though there's no getting around the multiple decades of webcomic trends causing strange eddies. They're still on 3.5, though there was a fun non-canon side comic where they fought their 4e dopplegangers. The direct references to game mechanics and the overall structure have dropped off as the plot has picked up, so it also matters less.
