I JUST WANT TO DIVE INTO THE FUTURE
>>97897281So far kinda eh. Don't like the ping pong route for Diana and Apollo and want to see what the new gracenova does
>>97897407I think there's decent odds GraceNova isn't in the set. Both him and Mirage Burst Mode only get in if they're the other SEC, and there's still the chance it's something else entirely instead.
APPCHAD THREAD RELEASE THE UNDERWORLD DRAGON.
AAAA WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS GUY DOINGTHIS MUST BE SOME KIND OF CHINA DECK
>>97897477there's a guy on the discord who keeps testing RKs as a shell for other non-traditional decks, like Dark Masters and Myotismon. Probably him.
>>97897595it was an easy win but still. the heavy metal bitch royal knights assembly omnimon deck was pretty good desu idk about putting custom card alda in this pile
>>97897595whoever that analog man jumpscare motherfucker is should be identified, branded, quarantined and heavily interrogated by some psychopath AigiCardassTuber , prolly dane that kiwi fuck
>>97897637>heavymetal
>>97897595Just checked, it's the same guy
>>97897673judge would have been a much better class than viper - i got so many sets of judge armor in delubrum reginae, started with white paladin armor ( in my raid group after week one all of our gunbreakers switched to paladin , me and one other started on that job - i main gunbreaker in everything else) i picked up ninja armor next cuz it is the most ff12 judge esq and then i built black mage judge armor just for PVP and threw my last tokens at reaper at the end. I never got another fending coat from regular bozja sadly, that thing was comfy. I moved states because of ff14 and used to plow some girl with H cup tiddies and then she had a miscarriage and started drinking and taking her ibm secret clearance (veteran medical records) and i ended up living in a church for 2 years. there is a snes romhack for ff5 that has playable judge its very good.
Does Medusa take actual skill or are the shitters at my locals just coping? Seems about as auto pilot as the other tier 1 decks.
>>97897752What the fuck did I just read?
>>97897753medusa is probably the least skill intensive tier 1 deck we have had since rookie rush. The game has become much more complex since then so occasionally they have to do some sequencing but its not much and its probably less than any other liberator deck save maybe tyrannomon. what are some other contenders for 'least skill intensive tier 1 deck' of all time?
>>97897753Monocolour liberator decks are designed to be simple and easy to play and Medusa is no different. It takes skill to play but that's only in particular matchups, your regular plays already counter a lot of decks anyway.
>>97897477yeah I vs'd this deck as well the other daywas an easy win but no fucking idea what the plan was as it just did nothing
Oh
>>97897753dependsits a very easy deck to play at like 70-80% efficiency and just requires a couple of explanations and a bit of deck knowledge about your opponentsbut to actually play the deck to full potential its not easy, not the hardest deck or anything, but it does have a high skill ceiling, just a very low skill floor to play it very wellthere are a lot of smaller interactions with the deck that require a bunch of knowledge of your enemy and ways you can abuse certain mechanics that require a bunch of specific rule interaction knowledge to create the scenarios
>>97897806I love the multi colour claw trails.
>>97897815this seems like copeevery deck requires matchup knowledge that is not medusa exclusive. progress, rush access at level 4 and level 6 , warp evolve, emblem, EoT attack, these are all pretty minimum brain plays. Yeah your ability to pop off requires some skill but its less than Jesmon ever took. Built in hand and graveyard hate , your enemy does the hand hate themselves and yeah you get to pick a card out of their graveyard , choosing which graveyard cards to cycle takes less effort than remembering which owen does what. The biggest skill check besides not forgetting your 900 effects that don't belong in red is targeting the correct security card with your deck gimmick that interacts directly with the win con.
>>97897806seems pretty conservative, its a very good bridge for burst mode. Attack once, burst mode attack twice then reboots and has evade up to try and do it again. probably a meta contender
>>97897768>>97897767>>97897843Yea I figured. Having some bums at my locals still complaining about Hudie despite no one playing the deck anymore and shit but then play stuff that is just as brain dead as it like Medusa or RK. Figured it was just “ deck I play takes skill, deck you play is braindead” mindset. Starting to stop format discussions with them cause they’re full of shit that let their biases rule over any sort of sound logic or thought in discussion
>>97897997>still complaining about HudieThey are completely valid for complaining about Hudie, lmao.
It's been so long I sorta forgot Hudie existed. People complained a lot about it but there's honestly been worse metas.
>>97898086such as?
>>97898086>there's honestly been worse metasfalse, theres never been a deck so polarizing everwhats holding hudie right now is that is so BORING to win with the deck
>>97898092Red Hybrid at its peak. Low key Dark Animal. NumeMagna, shit like that.
>>97897843yeah sounds like you just dislike any strong deck and are projecting that anyone who plays anything "good" must be just be playing an autopilot deck.you said it yourself in your first post >Seems about as auto pilot as the other tier 1 decks.so I don't think you believe any deck requires any skill if its strong and don't understand what makes something difficult or not in a card game.It isn't a linear deckthere are plenty of linear decks, so its already by definition harder than those. Are you really going to argue decks like fenri (either of them), galactic, gallant, machine, or wargreymon otk are harder to play decks? because they are incredibly linear with 0 variance.clearly you are upset about getting your shit kicked in by people playing medusa and want to try to justify complaining about them.
not a big fan of the [hero]/[ts]/[data squad] style traits it was alright with xros because that's just how xros is but they've gone too far
>>97898092The first year of digimon is filled with them.
I'm done copying decks. All the builds I've tried feel so fucking bad. Even the ones that got 1st place. I'll just build the deck myself.
>>97898342TS is a very awkward deck in general
I DEMAND SIGNS OF LIFEBandai has locked HIM away as Omegamon's one arm for three (3) years now. He NEEDS his own deck again.
>>97898353TS? I never mentioned any decks.
>>97898475idk seems pretty obvious you meant TS based on what you said about it, no?if not TS, what deck WERE you talking about?
>>97898522I refuse to say, because it would reveal my IQ level.
>>97898275I'm tornI like decks that use a variety of Digimon rather than the three most recent versions of each level. Like how each Liberator deck was at launch. But then they railroaded those decks into basically exclusively using Liberator trait cards (emblems, scramble tamers other than Shoto, warp ultimates limiting your choices of 3s and 4s) so series trait slop is all I have. In theory there are v-pet decks but none are competitive. But Bandai liked them enough to steal their game plans for TS, Beatbreak and DATS so that's something!
How's Purple Hybrid these days with the new AD01 cards?
>>97898125I think its more that everyone who played it has switched to Puppets since its just as if not more stupid with the free bodies and DP reduction.
>>97898275I like TS personally. It has a difficult job of needing to balance the Liberator style deck construction like with Abyss Area or Jupiter or Gear Forest or Factorial Area or Titans or theoretically Paradise Colosseum but also needing to maintain a certain deck building free style to accommodate individual tastes.I don't envy Bandai's position in this situation since part of deck building for large groups like RK, XII or Tentei is that people will have favorites they want to play and ones they don't so you need to have deck identity on the individual level but also have collective crossover.
>>97898548>I refuse to say, because it would reveal my IQ level.Medusasissies, our response?
>>97898412Metal Empire and Virus Busters give you two more chances for him to be an arm before he is ultimately used as an arm again in EX13 xoxo
>>97898623it just can't really keep upits not awful or anything, but quite a few decks just stomp it, too many tools to stop it now among the popular deckseven without support a shift in the meta could bring it back since it isn't really a power level issue (I mean its slightly weaker than a lot of the top decks, but its a 2024 deck) but it just has really bad match ups against a lot of the meta right now.none of the AD01 cards are support for it
>>97898169fenrir is lightyears ahead of medusa, yes. I think royal knights takes more brainpower than medusa too. Galactic is pretty linear, machine and gallant have had dozens of variations over the years.'are you really going to argue my strawman arguement?' fuck off jamboy. you have the capacity to speak for yourself without framing everything as poisoning the well
>Envelope damp, and open on one end>Cards entirely undamaged because the seller put forth the effort in packaging them properly, and they didn't slip out because they were taped to the manifest
Shakamon, you are really doing me dirty here. It's taken me since his release (and only because of SeitenGokuumon dropping 2 bodies upon removal) and having enough memory/cost reduction to Digivolve into Shakamon without losing turn that I figured out that the other body on the field can make themselves Quadruple Breaker that turn. It really speaks to the lack of survivability the deck has that I'm so used to either losing my Shakamon to dedigivolve or if he does get his effect, that the bodies he produces die before I can use them next turn.
AD-01 is such a gift to the game! All these new and exciting cards AND cheap reprints of powerful cards really makes it a super set for everyone, new and old player alike!
>>97898342Yeah it's kinda pointless to netdeck if you don't understand the thought process that went into building it.IMO building it yourself is the best way to get a good feel for the deck, and it allows you to tailor the build to your own play style and habits.
>>97899165I usually netdeck just to get a feel on a deck before making changes. I don't know the context behind the choices of the deck most of the time. Even for large tournaments I don't know what the player was preparing the most for.
>appmon OPFUCK appmon satan mask poster won
>>97897307At this point I'm less concerned about price and far more about availability. This lady is gonna be scarce as fuck.
>4 TsunomonThe only good Adventure egg>4 Biyo, 4 Pal, 2 Gabu10 should be enough. No floodgates because they don't advance my gamestate. >4 Birdra, 4 TogeThe best 4s.For 5s, Lilly, MegaKabuteri, MetalGrey, SkullGrey and Zudo are the best ones for this build. Garuda can be cool, but he'd be a 1-off at most. AngeWo would be better if I was focusing on climbing all the way up to Omni as my wincon. Could consider 1 if I have space.>4 Lilly, 3 MegaKabuteri, 2 MetalGrey, 1 SkullGrey, 1 Zudo11 5s. From my experience using the deck before AD1, the deck wants to have a lot of 5s. My experience is probably wrong though.>3 MegalGaruru ACE, 3 AD1 WarGreyMetalGaruru ACE is probably their best 6. It's removal and brings back someone from Trash. AD1 Wargrey is better than the other WarGreys.4 Our Courage UnitedBest option. I've never liked Believe In Our Friendship or either of the 2 cost Options.4 AD1 Matt&TK3 ST Matt&TK2 BT21 Tai1 Tai&Izzy1 Izzy&TaiI think this should be the best lineup for this build.
>>97899235HNNNNGHHHHH
>>97899291Id still replace one of the ad1 wargrey and 1 matttak for wargrey ace. Wargrey ace has saved me more often than not with his protection.
>>97899760I'll consider it. Right now, I think 6 Level 6s is too much. Might drop it to 5. Also, I need someone from here to play against me. I need a decent player instead of DCGO randoms.
>>97899895DO YOU REALLY WANT TO SIZE UP AGAINST THE MONSTERS OF THIS THREAD? I JUST GOT PARKOUR TRAINING BANNED SON
>>97899926Yeah, sure. You guys aren't on the level of /dng/.
BT21 GACTCHAMON JUST GLITCHED MY CLIENT OUT TWICE REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I JUST WANTED TO LINK XMON ( formerly known as tweetmon) AND MY OWN FKING ROOKIE.
>>97899944elaborate on this, I don't know much about the ygo scene
>>97899951I joined a match against someone from /dng/ yesterday. Lost 1-2. Both of the games I lost? FTK.
>>97899895>I'll consider it. Right now, I think 6 Level 6s is too much. Might drop it to 5.You run 11 level 5's it doesnt hurt to have more aces since honestly. Tahts why i suggest removing a tamer and ad1 wargrey.
>>97899950They call him HoangZero because zero cards work
>>97899950Earned for playing Crappmon.
>>97897806>>97897855Functionally 3 stacks of deletion protection per turn, including by battle.
>>97898658Puppets isn't as free as Hudie, you just have a more reliable two turn win condition.
>>97900028So dcgo is working as advertised.
>>97900058>>97900028BUG ALREADY REPORTED AND FIXED. INSTANT DEV RESPONSE DCGO KING CHAD BIGGUS DICKUS DRAMON X ANTIBODY
>>97899944when i finish this game I will post a room code
>>97900268>>97899944>>9789989560609lmao @ room numberyou know the rule, talk shit draw bricks, enjoy ur free win
the brickening begineith
okay i won that onegame 2, i tried to change my deck but dong zshoah's client did not accept that input i am bricking harder this time but who knows maybe I will nut everywhere again. no sonnenrand game 1. Thank you for setting a name! gX vs Getter
>>97900345>>97900398I feel like I need better Tamer ratios...
game 2 i opened image training and jade memory boost , no fucking rookies, popped both to play a dragon model and it didn't even let me spit my stingmon out, this is the biggest brick I have ever seen. never made a play like this before. there have been a few times recently where I have had to play the yacht off of daiken rookie and it has been both arcane and profitable. this line got BTFO'd by skullgrey and metalgrey. i tried to run imperial back for the best of 3 but my client decided to run the deck i loaded for game 2 thot patrol time WEE WOO WEE WOO WEE WOO
>>97900484GG. I NEED more 5s. Just needed another Level 5 or Metalgarurumon ACE to win. I left so I could build more decks. DCGO wouldn't update so I deleted it, along with all the decks I had.
triggering big bang punch on his turn activated both of his our courage united and nuked my entire board, zudomon and his hoes blew me out he took me to 0 sec but couldn't make it over the top, next turn i took apart his board off of the tamers he security checked and made it thru with hades. I think i could have saved 2 memory and just played dezipmon from trash later in the turn GG Getterman Robo
>>97900554>Getterman RoboIn the olden days of /dng/, my trip was GETTER EMPEROR. People just called me getter and it stuck. It's been over 10 years....
>>97900558we made it through off of him checking double rei in security which was the only reason I was able to keep turn and multi attack. Knowing Getter's deck meant I played around metalgaru ace with an expensive dezipmon play instead of using doc brown warpmon to protect against blitzgrey dedigiboth games i won i got some lucky tamers in security . I thought i was going to lose that last one due to two lillymons popping out with rush from friendship united. zudomon and his hoes. shout out to the anon who gave me the hades deck a few threads deck, its been a blast. I have started to modify it a little, i added one kabemon just to be able to toolbox out blocker and this game against getter was the first time I did a weird ass double raidramon opener, my triple breaker champion on turn 2 immediately crashed into metalgarurui was gonna try digipolice next round if my client would let me>>97900558you uninstalled the whole game? lmao. if you are getter emperor maybe u should be on an emperor greymon deck ? Do you have an all time favorite digimon? I have been a long time veedramon enjoyer, since before v-mon was a thing
>>97900558>GetterOf course you're fucking here.
>>97900639I've been here for a while. Even played with other people.>>97900606I'll build Red Hybrid with Emperor Greymon at some point. As for favorite? Leviamon.
>>97900647i fucking hate the crocodile so much . with how terrifying he was in the card game when i was picking this game up he was an absolute nothing burger in redigitize decode. He has some pretty cool evolution line possibilities these days just from evil fish though I am still fond of deckedramon as well
My favorite digimon are Seadramon and monochromon :)
>>97900700>SeadramonCringe>MonochromonUnbearably based.
>>97900714my best friend was a betamon tamer, he had the original v-pet ( I could never get my hands on one but I had a digivice and two d-3s) and alot of my headcanons for this franchise have been built around him having dual access to both tyranomon and seadramon lines . seadramon is classic, i'm glad both of these betamon lines have gotten new evolutions recently with things like dinomon and skullseadramon. bro was stoked when rusttyranno finally came out, he was stuck on machinedramon for like a decade where as I only had to use machinedramon for a year or so before imperial came out
I have fond memories of using BT5 and later BT9 Monochromon as my jobber blocker of choice
>>97900756whats your monochromon line?
>>97900785As an OC, I like Tapirmon -> Monochromon -> MetalGreymon (Virus) -> any fitting WarGreymon variant but Monochromon -> Canoweissmon is also starting to win me over even if I don't know what the final stage would then beFor the card game, I slotted him into my Greymon decks back in the day
>>97900816no triceriamon love? no gaossmon? styracomon is basically a wargreymon variant so gaoss>monochromon>tricera>styracco is maybe too clean. on the subject of tapirmon i am quite fond of skullmammothmon
this line is pretty clean
You get allianceAnd you get alliance
>>97901173alliance was a mistake
>>97900880Deckerdramon's an Adult.Ebidramon was a Perfect in a game once
>>97901337deckerdramon is liminal enough that you could easily get away with changing his level, as in your spoiler citation level sometimes changes or does not matter. Especially in xross wars.
>>97899026>"nooo these decks that do the same thing every game and ignore the opponent are wayyyy harder and more complex!!!!!"no, they are not harderidk why you are mentioning RK, I never said it.how is machine or gallant having different versions relevant? when you are playing one of them you do the exact same thing every game, they aren't decks that take what the opponent is doing into consideration.linear decks where you ignore the opponent and don't engage with them at all, such as the ones I mentioned, are the easiest type of deck to play in the gameyou yourself listed things medusa needs to think about in regards to an opponent, so its already so many factors ahead of the decks mentioned. So you are a fenri player and getting butt blasted by medusa now, I see.imagine coping that any version of fenri, that is one of the most solitaire decks to ever exist, is actually difficult beyond just a memorized combo lmao.
>>97901173Damn, unironically great. Being able to always double break is fucking sick and there is enough suspend that you're never running short of targets.
>>97901173Am I too greedy for thinking Minervamon's mass Reboot and Blocker would go really really well with Gear Forest.dek?
>>97901815it would be pretty solidand shes black as well so she meets the condition for the deck
>>97901815Minerva is low-key good in everything. She singlehandedly provides the most amount of hard and soft defense any deck could need alongside the most bullshit keyword in dedigivolve.
>>97901892One of the reasons I'm a little hesitant on her is that she clashes a little with another De-Digivolve card that Gear Forest can use, the new Deltamon. Since he's a Titan. I think Orochimon can make the cut though since he's higher level.
>>97901635you are a fat faggot , i do not play dog decks . People who constantly strawman others have forgotten the face of their father>you must be ' mad at strength' ' a fenrir player' try simple communication instead of all this hallucinatory extra shit medusa is easier than those decks beacuse of its 900 training wheels mechanics. rush, progress, built in hand hate, memory for auto completing win condition, protection, crimson blaze, super blitz. it could lose any two of these factors and still be strong. literal DEI deck>dont bring up anything i didnt bring up (RK) >butt blastedfat faggot
>>97901897Given Minerva digivolves off Dark Dragon, I think there is an implicit understanding they want you to use her in Gear Forest.Yeah there is a bit of anti-synergy but you should still have at least 20 other options of 5 cost or less in the deck that are Iliad.
>>97901898lol
>>97901898>>literal DEI deck>he says DEI instead of Recolour
>you can look at your digisoul face down cardsDid not know that. So you can do that for Mugen/similar as well?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8J6jfpPh8o
