I wanted to create a campaign set in the marshes, but I'm having a terrible time looking for portraits and artwork for the non-player characters.When I search for reptilians, most of the results on Pinterest are either crocodiles, kobolds or dragonborns.Why is that?Also, if anyone can share some good lizardfolk or serpentfolk art, I would gladly take.

>>97911811because most art is either ancient pulp stuff that might not show up in google searches or cereal mascot tier.Cool looking lizardman designs are incredibly rare.Elderscrolls is ok these days but basically youre relegated to warhammer and Everquest.Most others dont have a unified look and the artists just do whatever, which then ofthen leads to it looking like shit.anyway, have some old ass art from my campaign.

>>97911811I think the core issue is there are too many names for lizardfolk (dragonkin, Argonians, reptilians, naga, etc.) . So search functions fail to create a gestalt for them. Orcs and elves and dwarves dont face this issue (mostly thanks to lotr)
