After a harrowing game, including a straight red card to the owlbear the moment he entered the field, a heroic hattrick from Doomrider was able to salvage a draw.

We'll be playing /pol/ for the ninth time on Sunday, continuing the rivalry on the divegrass field.

Bit of column A, bit of column B. /3/ has been revived by a pair of managers after a few years lying completely dead, so they're more or less a blank slate at this point, but it's also the highest-scoring game of the day so far, complete with ten-man abuse; we picked up two goals and conceded none once down a player.

We brought it back, with Tankred enduring his way to the Man of the Match The Book and Doomrider joined Gork (or Mork) in scoring and gave us the margin to survive Epstein's goal as the game drew to a close. This kills /pol/, but we'll need to see how we do against /u/ next Saturday to see whether we make the knockouts.
Our record against /pol/ is now 5-1-3, tied for the most frequent matchup in the 4CC (with, inter alia, our 5-1-3 record against /biz/).
