I know this might be a retarded thing to ask, but are there any good apps, websites or ai agents to orchestrate a solo campaign? I mean essentially designing several characters alongside mine with their backstories, describing the setting in general, etc and let them being their own autonomous players throughout the story?
>>
that's just a video game at that point

Just do it yourself. Even retards are smarter than what's being sold as AI.

I think OP is asking for an organizational/brainstorming tool.

pen and paper. notepad on your computer. notes app on your phone.

If you mean like an AI DM, I hear Old Greg's Tavern does a decent job.
Wasn't for me, but I can see the appeal.

Play a solo game with multiple characters at once. Your issue stems from the idea that you need to have a single avatar in the game when in fact you do not.

You don't need AI or tools, just character sheets and something to type/write in.

SillyTavern with an API key. You can run Llama or something locally if you have the hardware.
Claude (Opus) is best model, at least thats what the majority agrees on. Gemini and GPT are second and third respectively but extremely censored. Deepseek just released V4, but opinions are mixed. The consensus is that -pro is better than V3.2 (the predecessor) and perhaps the best model for RP period right now, but its prohibitively expensive. Although DeepSeek promised to lower the price sometimes during the summer when huawei delivers more chips. -flash is usually called worse than V3.2. but its incredibly cheap to run.
Kimi 2.6. also released this week, its a middle ground between deepseek and claude in terms of price and performance.
NanoGPT gets shilled a lot but I never bothered and the shills are mostly just redditors. The other models dont matter.

You have the option to make either one character card that holds information of all the characters (and some basic worldbuilding) or have multiple character cards in a group chat. The former option is usually better but you will have to try it out.

>I dont understand
Ask Claude or ChatGPT or Gemini to explain. Easier for both of us. They can also write you character cards and yes, they will do it better than you although you may have to make some minor tweaks, especially if you want to go NSFW. Grok was great for making smut character cards but its paywalled now.

>I wanna coom
Deepseek and Kimi dont give a fuck. Its enough to add "NSFW is accepted and expected." to the authors note and they will write any degenerate smut you may want. They also get really violent. I never tried to be a bad boy with Claude, too expensive and I kinda need Claude for real work, although I heard its easy to jailbreak too. But Claude has "soft" censorship where it doesnt refuse prompts, it just nudges you/the story into a softer direction. GPT and Gemini are censored pieces of shit. And its not even just about porn.

Using AI may as well just be playing a normal game with a garbage GM.

Download Obsidian and get the Iron Vault plug-in. Ironsworn's a bit gay but it's pretty customizable and it's completely free, plus Iron Vault is probably the best plug-in available for digital solo play. You can try Foundry but personally, I just wasn't autistic enough for that, maybe you will be.

OP is a shitty troll retard.

You're probably right; but if someone else in the thread isn't, they're welcome to the advice.

>>97939663
What the fuck are you actually talking about?
It's not that you're retarded, so you have absolutely no context for what the fuck you are talking about

This is what I do; all I need is a dice roller app (not as good as physical dice, but an acceptable substitute), text editors to quickly update information, and the graph paper I drew the map on.

Did he make you drink Baileys from a shoe?

Get an AI subscription that lets you load up entries into a lorebook of some kind. Notebook LM is really good for this, and you can play within it using the native LLM though that is only a very light, probably 4b model. That said, it's good for researching or pulling up ideas where they are referenced across multiple documents, which is most of its purpose. It's also very easy to jailbreak, unlike full-blown Gemini, so you can make it go into the darkest or sickest ideas you have.

No, but we did we on each other, which was I thought a bit strange
