The last D&D campaign I ran went from 2021 to 2022 and I was the only guy at the table, running for five women.It turned out the key difference was getting them invested in the story by tying their characters to the plot. They weren't gonna be interested in politics or mystery that their characters could just walk away from, but once there was a personal reason for their characters to stay involved they were all onboard. Men will usually just wander from story to story without their characters being tied to it, but women expect a bit more effort being put in to make it relevant to them.
