How does your setting deal with the logical issues that arise from female combatants: At some point they're going to get hit or shot, and they're going to die. Like if someone gets cleaved in half by a fucking greatsword or gets hit in the teeth by an arrow, it's one thing if it's a dude or a monster. On a woman it comes off as very fetishized suffering.
Women will upset themselves without needing to be physically harmed IRL. Most women I know are deeply unhappy people.
I have a rule in my game that no female character can't be killed, only non-lethal solutions. Rape is fair game however.

Death happens "off screen", and hero death drives the survivors into further motivation to complete their goals. Fallen heroes are sadly gone, but never forgotten; there is no lingering narrative of "whurr is hell" or "why r we still heer" or "WUT AM I FIGHTANFORRRRR" narrative nonsense."It's one thing if it's a man or monster"?
