>>97974659Well it is nice to know apparently I could have had super powers WITHOUT turning into a butt ugly sewer monster. Fuck this unlife.
>>97975800Why were you embraced? Did your Sire ever tell you why you became a vampire?
>>97975814Sire wanted someone a bit more 'up to date' on the bookkeeping, modern tech and general purpose business matters and also wanted someone who went to waste his life in college. Local nossies had leaned a little too much into hobos, lowlifes, rednecks and the like and they needed someone a bit more 'fresh' in skills and knowledge.I also miiight have had already done a lot of work in pyramid scheme marketing which is one reason why the other night I mentioned not asking questions about who is higher on the pyramid. Honestly, horrible appearance aside it ain't too bad. My sire's actually LESS awful than some of the human bosses I've had and he actually appreciate my work. I'm way more worried about pissing off the rest of the Cammies vamps than my sire if I'm being honest.
>>97975800would ye prefer to be fucked in the head like the malkavians? off in your own cosmic cuck chair like the toreadors unable to do the things that inspire you well? be on the files because your a ventrue allergic to post-pubescent blood? yea we aint got sunshine and rainbows but ill take our garbage over some of the other insidious mental stuff
>>97976465I mean no offense but, in the age of mass surveillance and drones, do you not fear the clans you just mentioned will eventually decide to pull the plug and kick you out the Camarilla?
>>97977334I mean there's a reason why almost every nosferatu clique I've meet has focused on being useful while still persuing their own goals. It's fairly laudible but at the same time, no doubt it's partially motivated by also being some of the most replusive vampires. While not phased by pure ugliness like most humans, seldom do most vampires (or the cammies at least) like to be reminded of the monsters they are, which makes the nosferatu an easy bully boy and punching bag for a lot of them. >I caught one in my bathroom one time, don't know how long he had been in there. Just chilling, taking notes presumably. It's true.
>>97975534The haven of the Prince of Innsbruck. On its own, a very impressive manor, achieving that perfect balance between opulence and restraint that I have come to expect from Blue Bloods. As I was there as a guest of the Prince's, I know that I did not uncover all of its secrets. Tempting as it is, to explore every nook and cranny of your host's haven is to court final death. Still, it was a staggeringly tasteful manor. The observatory was wonderful, and it had a notable library beneath it. I'm not much for dancing, but the ballroom was likewise impressive in its construction, filled with all manner of beautiful decorations both occidental and oriental. I also found the Prince himself to be surprisingly good company. He completely lacked the bitter undercurrent I have found common among European Princes. Though I must admit some bias, it was constructed in the early 18th century, which made me nostalgic in ways I have not felt since I was a mortal. It reminded me of the estate I served in when I was a child.
>>97977334>>97977633you familiar with the term 'kompromat'? oh sure, the services of my people are vital, but they're one hand of the relationship.see, if anyone ever decided to do something unthinkably idiotic, i'm pretty sure we have a range of options. everything from 'elder toppling unlife ruining personal packages' to the nuclear 'the sabbat would cream emselves cause the masquerade is over. get bent.' so lets all keep being 'good neighbours' yea?
>>97977741Look I'm not saying I would want it, or you would deserve it, or it would be free of consequences, or it wouldn't be an unbelievably stupid idea, all I'm saying is... the Camarilla might do it anyway.Another prank by the Malkavians...
>>97977334I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Its not like at my age I wasn't raised on 'oh no, doomsday you'll die some day because of X'. Nothing's changed beside the fact I'm ugly and biologically dead. There's always some assholes who rule over me and could fuck me over. Seriously the only thing that changed for me is I live in dumpsters and sewers and look like ass.Hell even my job security and work being appreciated is overall BETTER as a vamp. Beside I had a cancer on remission and my family has a history with it so its not like my human lifespan was garanteed.
>>97977829worse comes to worse the camarilla is over at that point, knives come out, and odds are either the ventrue or the tremere are left with whatever isn't collapsed.
>>97977741I thought it best left unsaid, but as >>97977829points out, it's a dagger that's sharp as hell against one and dull against many. Oddly enough I never thought that cancel culture was one of ours, turns out when you're undead the idea of being 'unpersonned' is a bit laughable.>Good NeighborsBrother, I am your best neighbor. Excuse my heavy feet. >>97977829>Prank by the MalkaviansIt would be an interesting excercise. Perhaps a bit of Kriegsspiel is in order. Let's not naysay each other, but in a positive contributing manner what would happen.>On LIVE tv?>That's right the revealed and prooved beyond a shadow of a doubt on LIVE tv that vampires exist>I thought it was aliens>No, VAMPIREs the whole time live amongst us, feeding on us, killing us>And infront of 50 million live viewers and online enthusiests, there's no way there's no way they are getting that Genie back in the bottle.Probably the most immediate of effects would be an increase in Religiousity I presume. The existance of literal bloodsuckers could not work any other way I think. Second I would say that the princes of almost every city and that entire power rank among Anarchs and Sabbat as well would be very uncomfortable place to be. Schemes from beneath, but also many eldar vampires who see themselves as above the 'day to day' would come into play in this new up for grabs world. Any weak prince gets toppled, any strong prince still has to contend that their entire power structure which was based on secrecy now has to reform to one based on Strength? Perhaps PR management? And they have to deal with the Camarillah as an secret organization ceasing to exist and with every other weak prince being disposed, which would only add pressure to their own set up. Nossies and Malkavians thriving on secrecy and chaos would do good in the short term at least. >>97978019I'm not so sure, I think the mages and ventrue both rely on power structures that might disappear or be disrupted.
>>97978754>No, VAMPIREs the whole time live amongst us, feeding on us, killing usHe's just a Gollum cosplayer.
>>97978754no. its a dagger people dont think applies to them. i know im not privy to the full extent of the dead-man switch contents but everyone except the no-contact gangrels have weaknesses and faultlines that at best ruin unlives. at worst- shouldn't even have to fucking say it. god you people dont even know how much we do in the algorithm age to keep surveillance states full of false positives. even just stopping that would expose half the fucking camarillas ass to the GLOBEHUN network.>I'm not so sure, I think the mages and ventrue both rely on power structures that might disappear or be disrupted.i said theyd be holding the bag, not that ninety five percent of the bag had been turned to dust. and that theyd follow shortly after. almost like starting the MAD scenario is fucking stupid
Eh, the human politicians are already fucking vampires in their own way. If anything I'd say we're not really that scary compared to how monstrously fucked human society has been for me at least the monstrous side's on the outside of people I hang with now.At least, that's what I tell myself when feeding. That if not me it would be some whackjob gutting that person with a knife for a few $$ or shooting up their kids in a school. Who cares if I'm drinking some poor lowlife sob, life will fuck him over sooner or later anyway so I'm just speeding up the process.Fuck am I starting to sound like an Anarch? Some of the guys I've talked to think I'm a bit too hands off with the ghouls. Shit I even paid some of them for their work.
>>97975534The best one doesn't really count as a havenBut the best actual haven would to be Hatshepsup's old place out in the back behind her club. She always had a stocked bar and no matter how messed up I was, she helped me. It was also basically an Elysium for the Marquette people back before it all went bad, because we didn't really have one. Every time the Pro-Cammie folks tried to make one somebody self-sabotaged so we all ended up meeting in the parking lot behind Hatshepsup's strip club when we had meetings.Oh right gotta doreadingsshitfuckfuarkeraaaaaaaa>The password is ST1Cky_Cur8>Invest in a cassette player>The lucky number of the day is 1962>HE IS WORSE THAN A MONSTER HE IS A BLIND FOOL>You get to be either the lobster or the boiling water, so choose fast>Melodies of the Raga serve the humble and the clever in equal measures>MINE ILL HANG YOU FROM A TREE, SLIT YOU LENGTHWISE AND PISS IN THE BOWL, GET YOUR OWN FUCKING LITHIUM
>>97979154>Who cares if I'm drinking some poor lowlife sob, life will fuck him over sooner or later anyway so I'm just speeding up the process. You do clearly. Which is better than not caring even if it feels like someone shoved a welding solder in your butt! It'd be easier to not, I know for me like- cause-- well I could probably shut down the bad thoughts completely cause I lure in bad people usually. Can't though. That's the little death that grinds you down.Like a room with a floor made of rolling sandpaper. Just- less dramatic you know?
>>97979355Well look, I'm not pretending to be what I'm not. I'm certainly not a 'nice' vampire, I don't pretend to be: one of the first thing I did when I got the hang of my new form was to go drink and drive insane some asshole from a past job I wanted revenge against. Pure revenge fantasy and it felt good going OOGA BOOGA I AM MONSTER until the dude had a stroke. At least initially. That said, my sire put me in charge of his fencing operation and there's not a whole lot to gain from just being a dick 24/7 to the ghouls.Beside, they know the punishment for the REAL, complete and utter fuck up. On a good night, we break their limbs and keep them alive as long as we can with vitae. On a bad day? We promise to embrace them. Sure we can't without the Prince's permission last I checked but they don't know this. Last guy who opened his mouth about even hinting being a ghoul we turned his limbs into pretzels using bricks and baseball bats.
>>97979416We all pretend to be something we're not silly. You just have one less mask to hide behind for that picture you paint for yourself. But there's always more inside. I'm just trying to give you a warning while my lucidity holds out you know? Something I knid of try to internalize myself, just cause I still get bad mood swings even being medicated. All this ranges from mafia to death cult to something else. Don't be afraid to look at your long term options, cause like- forever is a long time. And you are your own Monarch when you realize it.
>>97975534my own. once in the back kostantiniyye i had a small miserable apartment in the underground that for all the toil i went through there was the first home i knew. thanks to a spell gifted to my by a sephardic sorcerer it was unseen by friends and foes alike.though i have set myself up well enough in my current dominion, i still harbour fond memories of the place. >>97977678there is no shame in admitting a bias. certainly i have feelings about innsbruck and austria overall, coming from being in the sphere of the house osmangolu. a part of why i never leave helllas these nights.
How goes the battle for Winnipeg? When do I start spiking and who?
>>97979898Turk or native Greek born after the Ottoman conquest? In either case, while I was born in Österreich (in a village near Linz), I hardly have any real attachments these nights. I'm like a ghost to mortals, makes it hard to stay grounded with places and peoples. I don't begrudge others their... grudges, but I find it increasingly hard to relate.
>>97981354i never truly knew. one night i woke on a street in rags, midway through the 1600s, no memory of anything before. with how oft i fought against the powers that be then i always thought i was greek for all intents and purposes but... it would be a lie to say i don't miss having the assamites constantly trying to kill me. or being roped into fighting with them, at times. i do not respect my current neighbours the way i respect them.yours is a common malady for our kind. one i have avoided by maintaining a kin-group of ghouls and a place on the fringe of camarilla society. if you find yourself in hellas, i will oblige you a few nights in the old crypt.
>>97979285Nice place, Kitten. Reminds me of this one spot that we shacked up in for about a week a couple of years ago; this old arcade/pool hall. Just add a human mural on a wall courtesy of Mateo and donations by some of the patrons - you know how Toreador are about their art.
>be male Tremere>nerdy 5’6” beta>have Tzimisce fetish >get drunk off kine blood during a comic con>find female Tzimisce who is oddly friendly>be dumbass and tell her how much bubble butt muscle stud men turn me on >she turns herself into a chiseled beefcake version of herself >instant boner>I fuck her, now him, for the rest of the night>give each others phone numbers, still fuck whenever we can >actually develop feelings for a Fiend>An actual, honest to God Tzimisce is in love with meThis won’t end well for me, will it?
>>97982537bro, as a junior novice of noddist lore, like, 60% of modern clan politics descends from a tori-ventrue-tzimsice polycule getting out of hand and exploding.your pretty screwed, but for some reason people really like the dragon push.
Hi, first timer here. Been working as handyman and driver for a rural mansion of some really out of touch, really old money folks who came to the US of A out of western Ukraine, or a vampire movie more like. But they call me the vampire (vampir) while they are The Nobility® (Arystokratiya, Dvoryanstvo). What's the difference between a vampire and a noble? Asking here cause all but their youngest don't like personal questions and act like everything's obvious.
>>97981557I appreciate the offer of hospitality. Have you ever deduced your clan? It certainly sounds as if you have unlived an interesting unlife. I've always found the idea of respecting an enemy to be fascinating. I personally have never felt so inclined, but I do my best to avoid making enemies. I'm somewhat nonconfrontational by nature, I am a master of avoidance and evasion. In the very rare occasion where that is insufficient, I'll kill them in whatever manner is most effective. As for my malady, you don't know the half of it. A blessing and a curse.
>>97983037Sounds like a gaggle of especially pretentious Tzimisce if you ask me.
>>97983122>TzimisceSo what are those? I better not say that word out loud even if I can't pronounce it. Oh and if I'm not one of them, whatever they are... what am I?
>>97982537What is this comic con? Why are vampires of multiple sects frequenting this presumably kine event? How did you even learn this person was a Tzimisce, let alone without providing your own clan? >>97983037I'm going to agree with >>97983122 and say Tzimisce are the likely candidates. Ventrue will let you know they're Ventrue and Lasombra would've beaten you thrice by now. Though it still makes little sense...>>97983144Oh god in heaven you have no idea what any of this is. How did you even find this place if you don't know what a vampire is?
>>97979149>almost like starting the MAD scenario is fucking stupidI mean you were just bragging about holding the MAD files. I agree it is a bit silly, I can't blame the nossies, but I do think Cammies need to work together and not just in a 'as long as this further's my politics' kind of way. Pipe dreams, I know.
>>97983158>Lasombra would've beaten you thrice by now.Um the wives of the lord of the house here manage and oversee of the servants, and they are evil. Straight up evil. I'm talking pre-Abe Lincoln evil. His sons train swordplay too and use me as training dummy. They don't go easy, def not after I miraculously got a hit on one. All 3 jumped on me, then the lord is like: "If you want to kill him, do it in a formal single combat." Thanks boss also the hell is wrong with you all.The turnover among the girls is high, but at least we have Ms. Rafastio who knows how to patch us and even set bones, but when I need her help she wants my physical intimacy as payment.>Oh god in heaven you have no idea what any of this is. How did you even find this place if you don't know what a vampire is?Sorry if I'm clueless. Most Orthodox Churches in the area are Greek, which Wikipedia tells me they belong to the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. Anyway one night I ask Fr. Gerasimos if he can pray for the soul of Zoryana, the daughter of our lord (lower case) cause she's the only Noble that's ever said "sorry" to me, and I just want her not to become a monster like the other ladies, and I'm not very religious or worthy so there's no need he prays for me.Like one night a maid came to my room and she started stripping and pointing at her neck and I had no clue what she's up to, tho I freaked out thinking what happens if any of the ladies spots us, guess what, Raven-hair's already on the case, ordered us to go to the cell downstairs with Zoryana, handed her the "vhip" and told her to beat us with it. And Zoryana, bless her soul, said: "I'm sorry", "Forgive me" and so on after every lash, until another wife commanded her to shut up.Anyway Fr. Gerasimos says he has to go to the crypt then he's back with a written note. He said that he'll be praying for both of our souls and that I may find advice, comfort, and maybe one day even freedom. And that's how I found this website
>>97983299First, would you mind if you answer some questions?1: How precisely did you come into their employ? 2: Do you have a thirst for blood?3: Are you alive? Does your heart beat, is your skin warm to the touch, can you still eat normal food, etc.4: Do you feel an intense urge to sleep during the day? How about the "nobles"?5: Do you have any proof the "wives" and "sons" are actually this lord's children?
>The Winnipeg "Situation" (Recap 1)Alright. Before I begin with the recap of last night's events, I need you to keep something in mind: Loups are nuts.>Before the real shitfest with the Sectarians began, everyone in the war council more or less agreed we needed to deal with the Loup Transplants first.>I won't give you numbers for their protection, but there was one primary 'pack' that was an issue, the 'Silk-Biters' as I'll call them.>Unpleasant lot, mostly due to a position similar to the 'sabbat-on-kine' views. But they were divided and hunting anything that moved.>Now, let me tell you about 'Maddog.'>I met Maddog in Cali, he's an odd creature closer to a coyote than a wolf. Expert troll. Wrestling enthusiast skilled in communications.>We let him set up the plan to goad the local transplants and the unaffiliated into either joining our wave or simply agreeing to terms. This wasn't a mistake.>But I kind of wish it was.>Maddog set up a truly inflammatory challenge to the Silk-Biters, and managed to set up a wrestling ring to try and keep the fatality of this confrontation down.>Hell most of us thought he'd been joking but technically dangling a sacred Klaivaskar over a ring does count for challenges.>Now at some point this escalated into a whole 'thing' and I'm pretty sure we had a significant number of onlookers watching as we set this event up. >I was due to be the one in, although we had 'tag team rules' and I had two Loups in on the side. To counter their three 'issues.' Big-Pipe-Club and Maddog. >To older folks you might remember Big-Pipe-Club from the Marquette shit, but to more recent folks he is an old friend.>Now as absurd as all this is, I need you to keep in mind our targets thought just the same. A 'Red Talon' boy, an older 'Shadow Lord' guy, and a behemoth 'Silver Fang' Matriarch. The last one couldn't even pass for human. Had wolf eyes even when she was walking on two feet. The Red Talon called it a farce.
>>97983533>But let me tell you. Maddog is good at goading. >The older two fell for it hook line and sinker and they dragged their dissenter in. >Older guy and I went into the ring first, with one of the Nosforatu (calls himself Weevil) vagabonds who followed us in acting as ref. >It went raw immediately with the Shadow Lord (lets call him Cúigleáil) hitting me with a gut punch. And jumping to try and grab the blade hanging above the arena.>I ankle grabbed him, and for some reason the safest place for me with a Loup is grappling them.>Got so bad he tapped in the Matriarch to escape the choke.>Pulled out myself and let Big-Pipe-Club in to take my place, he might have been older than her but he knew how to throw his weight around. >And this went on for about an hour in a weird haze, until, well... >Think it was Maddog in the ring at the time with the Red Talon. His heart wasn't in it and the Matriarch swapped in. Someone shouted something and she snapped. >One moment there was a woman in there. The next there was a grizzly sized wolf with rabies.>Loups DO NOT FRENZY, but they have a state like it. It is B A D bad, so run if you ever see this>Everything went to shit, Big-Pipe-Club basically hurled Maddog out and 'frenzied' right back at the Matriarch, and I finally had a chance to get the Klaiviskar.>Someone shot me in the head at that point.>Don't know who. >Might have been friendly fire thinking on it. >Pulled out the worst of the Protean and hurled myself into the ring. >Together him and I managed to kill the Matriarch in a fucking mess of claws and teeth, Cúigleáil fled when he realized he'd lost, and the Red Talon boy (who I'll call Laoch) was left holding the bag. He yielded, on ground his remaining pack be 'brought on.'>Didn't have much choice but to accept.Fucking gongshow man. Tomorrow we'll see if we can't sway the Anarchs. >>97980864See the above. And whenever you're ready Nïa. You have my number.
>>97983418>First, would you mind if you answer some questions?Shoot.>1: How precisely did you come into their employ? In life I was a high schooler and quite a loser. One night I get hit in the head by this gangbangers laughing like hyenas. Next thing I know they're preparing for my live burial? One holding a book says: "Never dying, living on. You will walk forever in darkness." Another bonk and the next thing I hear or rather remember is "Thou wilt not die. Amen."I find out I'm actually factually buried alive coffin and all, I punch my way out like I punched trees in Minecraft.(the head butler told me this latter part of the story cause I don't remember it from that night)I run through the city, it's raining, I'm more mud than man, the gang is chasing me, again with the laughing. I find this gate, I'm going insane ringing the doorbell, crying for help, one lightning strike, the lord appears, wraps me under his cloak and leads me inside. The gang gets the hell out.>2: Do you have a thirst for blood? The maids give me blood to drink every single night, which I recently discovered it smells too much like animal blood. Cattle and goat blood is bland, I hate what I think is pig or at least wildboar's blood. Once per month the Nobles tie me up to a table in the cell downstairs (dunno why) and give me a small cup the good stuff, it's dense like honey and tastes even better. They never let me inside the kitchen or wherever my food is prepared. I've never seen a Noble drink blood but I can't access their rooms and whatnot.>3: Are you alive? Does your heart beat, is your skin warm to the touch, can you still eat normal food, etc.No. Consistent with being what they call a vampir so far, isn't it?>4: Do you feel an intense urge to sleep during the day? How about the "nobles"?We all sleep during the day, I'm usually lying on the floor a few feet away from Zoryana's door.>5: Do you have any proof the "wives" and "sons" are actually this lord's children? No clue.
>>97983593*these gangbangersAlso let me clarify: the blood the maids give me nightly is usually in a bottle. I've never bit anyone, I don't want to hurt anyone.
Hey, MeoMeo and H0T_G4R0US, I didn't offer my place to crash at initially as it's three hours out of town but my sire has scolded me for not offering my hospitality. If you don't mind the drive you can lay low here while you plan. I've got some cozy modern luxury coffins and they lock from the inside. I can stay in the guest room as I wouldn't want to interrupt the privacy of ladies.
>>97983607Oh you sweet precious fledgling you. Keep that heart, or someone will tear it out of you, one way or the other.Yours is... Kind of an odd situation. Not impossible to discern though. You've been drafted into another layer of the world that operates on its own logic. A secret club united by a thirst for blood, alleged immortality, and varied forms of psychosis. Or outright curses. The only certainties of your reality are as followed.>Blood is now water, food, meth, and ambrosia to you>The night is yours but the day will absolutely turn you to dust>Your existence is a threat if it becomes known, even to your 'peers' if you aren't careful>So long as you aren't subjugated you have terrible potentialThe rest... Varies, sadly. You've got much to learn. >>97983671Nïa?
>>97983593Right, well. That does clarify much. You are absolutely a vampire, and the good news is that the "Lord" and his household are as well. They're either a very eccentric brood that espouses some sort of pseudoscientific delineation between different types of vampires, or perhaps it's more about social class... or they're deliberately trying to make you think you're some sort of "lesser" vampire to keep you servile. As for your embrace (that being our term for becoming a vampire), you were almost certainly turned by the Sabbat. The Sabbat are complicated, but the truncated version of it is that they're a loose confederation of vampire religious fundamentalists, supremacists, and barbarians. What you were to them, was "false sabbat", or as most call them, shovelheads. They'll take anyone they can grab, hit them over the head, and turn them. The purpose is to create cannon fodder, so that they might throw waves of fresh vampires at their enemies, which is typically anyone not in the Sabbat. Sounds to me like you gave them the slip, and managed out of sheer luck to find the haven of an elder. Or perhaps you were guided to that manor, it does seem very convenient, especially your lack of memory. Nevertheless, that the Sabbat didn't attack your Lord tells me that either he's very powerful and they're actually intelligent enough to not pick a fight with him... or he's in the Sabbat as well, and much higher in the pecking order. Oh, and that thick and delicious blood they feed you once a month is probably vampire blood, or vitae. Drinking another vampire's blood slowly binds the drinker to that vampire's will. Typically by the third drink, you're constantly struggling against an unnatural compulsion to obey this vampire. Lastly, you'll no doubt come to find that vampire politics are even more contentious and embittered than mortal politics. Only you can discern the absolute truth of your situation. I hope my context has been informative.
>>97983686>>97983772Wait, I didn't finish my story. Sometime after I'm inside the mansion, I wake up at dusk, in a luxurious bed, with clean clothes, and the lord is pouring the good stuff out of the bottle and giving me cup after cup till I'm sated. He casually says: "Decent self-control. Room for improvement."Then for three whole nights it's your nerd's wet dream: a ren-faire where everyone is in superb period clothes, behaving like a decent human beings, the lord never leaves my side, I wear a full crimson armor and ride a horse with the man, I even shot a blunderbuss. And I can drink all the good stuff I want. Before the final dawn, the lord asks me countless questions, basically an oral recitation of my resume, my hobbies, my interests, then asks: "Would you like to work here?"Reminder to everyone that once upon a time, this stupid Errand Knight wanted to become vampire knight with magical powers. Ugh.On the fourth night, the madhouse goes back to normal, the maids and butlers no longer look like foreign royalty, the wives show me their collection of implements asking me if I want to try them with a bigger smile than they had during the 3-nighter, and for the first time I meet Zoryana. She, the head butler and Ms. Rafastio take turns telling me how the mansion really works.Oh, if I don't mention the name of the other Nobles it's because I'm being kinda superstitious about it right now, they all introduced themselves tho.
>>97983772>They're either a very eccentric brood that espouses some sort of pseudoscientific delineation between different types of vampires, or perhaps it's more about social class... or they're deliberately trying to make you think you're some sort of "lesser" vampire to keep you servile. Are we the same? Are there differences between the vampires outside of political factions?>Sabbat>as most call them, shovelheads.Suppose I have to drive Zoryana to a friend of the Nobles - a fellow Noble, let's say. Hypothetically speaking, of course. Right. At some point I will introduce myself. Should I introduce myself as a Errand Knight of the mighty Sabbat, or Errand Knight the Shovelhead? Errand Knight the Vampir since that's what the Nobles call me? Will I make a fool of myself?>the Sabbat didn't attack your Lord tells me that either he's very powerful and they're actually intelligent enough to not pick a fight with him... or he's in the Sabbat as well, and much higher in the pecking order. How do I know which is which? I don't know who to trust anymore...>Drinking another vampire's blood slowly binds the drinker to that vampire's will. Typically by the third drink, you're constantly struggling against an unnatural compulsion to obey this vampire.WAIT WAIT WAIT>I hope my context has been informative.Informative and depressing. Thank you.>>97983686>Blood is now water, food, meth, and ambrosia to youOk but whose blood do I drink? Also AVOID drinking vampire blood or other things, the side effects can be most dire.>I mean don't we all know a vampire isn't supposed to meet the sun?You would think so. But... Eh.>You mean the Nobles? No, I mean EVERYONE. There are normal people in the loop who hunt vampires. There are 'normal' people who tie up those of us with the Blood and keep us for the purposes of drinking. There are government and private agencies that do both of the above. There are 'lesser' vampires who will cannibalize you and there are 'greater' vampires who view you as a threat to their 'resources.'>Well excuse me but I'm feeling pretty darn subjugated already in here. I mean what else do they have to do? When they tell me to do something my body does it. Even Zoryana.Yea, that seems to be the case. However your bondage is temporary and I've learned a great deal about this.Blood bonds as they are called take many forms, but you retain your lucidity. Others are not so lucky. My one adoptive companion was brought into a group called the 'Tremere' as a 'Gargoyle.' Bound by the blood he was utterly devoted to his handlers and oblivious to their political machinations. Until he was beaten into the sleep called Torpor, and shoved in a closet for a few decades. So long as you retain this lucidity you have the ability to plan. Find a position of weakness, and escape. There are means to break the bond, and given time, the effects will fade.We are all fools. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
>>97984141>Also AVOID drinking vampire blood or other things, the side effects can be most dire.Is that the reason they time me up before each dose? My last dose was yesternight.>Blood bonds as they are called take many forms, but you retain your lucidity. The lord stopped talking to me and doesn't seem to register my existence after those 3 nights of intensive hospitality, like he lost all interest, if he needs something done, one of the wives will tell me. None of the wives and sons treat me like I have human rights. But I think I might be developing feelings for Zoryana, is this going to be a problem?
>>97984241*tie me upAh sorry was distracted.
>>97984141>Right. Is it alright if we bring Gün and that staked Tremere? He's technically double betrayed the pyramid but I wouldn't risk it without declaring.By all means, gun is a good boy and I've always wanted to meet a Tremere and see if my clan's hatred of them is founded or not. I've got an open mind. I've heard of Tremere's diablerie of Saulot but I don't believe in "the sins of the father" and all that. Individuals are individuals.>Also, we just need some good deep soil.Does clay count? The topsoil here is only about ten inches and below that is typical Manitoba gumbo. But I got fourty acres of mostly bush, dig whatever you need to dig if it works for you.
Damn I forgot to put my name up again.>>97983671 (You) and >>97984254 (You) are both me.
>>97984241There are two primary ones. One is obviously you panicking and trying to flee, but some people go into a Frenzy. A manic state of raw instinct and enhanced power, that you could potentially overpower your current subjugator. It is mentally debilitating, but in my case it can physically degrade me. I can't open my mouth too wide now, unless I want people to see horror show teeth. Something you shouldn't have to worry about overmuch. Unless your siring is even more convoluted than it seems. Also, while I'm on this, if you drink a vampire outright the process is dangerously addictive and can corrode your soul. Or outright annihilate you. J>The RestTypical old feudal bullshit. Because of that stuff we've had several revolutions and constant upheaval. And... Probably? It depends on how you want to handle this, little hedge knight. Planning for one person to escape a blood bond situation is hard, but not impossible. I know several people who succeeded in leaving some of the most restrictive societies that we have. But two... Complicates matters. Depends on how you want to act on it I guess.>>97984254Then we shall make the journey tonight. I expect Trelaine to flake and I've gotten some reports the Sabbat might be fracturing. Best to take a step back, maybe, see what happens now after that circus. And that's mindset doubly good, considering the 'Sorcerer' is quadruple cursed with inherited sins. Gün will be happy to hear the news too.And the good old marsh will suffice. It is... Groddy but polite, I guess? Hard to explain.
>>97984347>And the good old marsh will suffice. It is... Groddy but polite, I guess? Hard to explain. It's not exactly marsh (although the water content is always high this time of year) but hard, sticky clay. Anything you dig should hold up rather well even without shoring.
>>97983987>Are we the same? Are there differences between the vampires outside of political factions?More similar than dissimilar. Most vampires are from one of several stable lineages called Clans, minor lineages of unclear origin are called Bloodlines. Not all clans are equal, some are much larger in numbers, others hold more power. Clans have congenital traits, such as affinity for certain Disciplines, that being what we call our vampire powers. They also share curses. In addition, there are vampires without clans, Caitiff. This term is confusing since it is used interchangeably for vampires that do not exhibit the traits of their lineage AND vampires that are ignorant to their lineage, such as yourself. Even though the two correlate, they are not always the same. >At some point I will introduce myself. Only do so if prompted. If your master truly believes you to be some form of lesser vampire, I would act servile around his associates until you can put more pieces of this puzzle together. Do not use the term Sabbat or Shovelhead or any term you have heard from us, because then your lord will be suspicious. If you are truly blood bound, and he asks, you'll likely feel an overwhelming urge to tell him the truth. >How do I know which is which? I don't know who to trust anymore...Keep your ears open. Listen for certain words such as Vaulderie, Cainite, Antediluvian, Gehenna, or any reference of religious titles in a not explicitly religious context. On the other hand, if you hear the terms Kindred, Elysium, Primogen, or Prince, you're likely dealing with the other major vampire political organization, the Camarilla. There's also a very real chance this lord is completely independent, though you usually need to be in a backwater or very powerful to pull that off. Or both. Don't trust any vampire. Not even us. We all have our own biases and agendas. Whatever you read here, try to confirm it independently.
>>97983987Okay, this "LORD" asshole isn't really Sabbat. He's just using the death/rebirth/immortality imagery while he turned you. You want to join the real Sabbat? The short version is there are really stupidly old ass vampires. They're evil and tgey need to die. Most Camarilla are doing what those old Vamires want amd are stupid ir stuborn to admit it, most Anarchs are just self destructive punks.

>>97984840You have some time for the moment. Think carefully and check her intentions, and don't bow your cover.>KoldunOh boy that's... Rarely great. Koldun refers to a powerful sort of blood sorcery that I know of, invoking spirits. A tool originating from some of the most potent of our world. Tzimsce. Dragons. I am a practitioner of a variant of the Koldun, and we have another though he seems to be throttling a dude down in the deep south.Have you got any context information?>I noticed. And you guys aren't? Whoever it was that did it, I didn't ask for this.In a way, though I'll give stripper her flowers and the blood infused champagne, a portion of the sect believes in the genuine liberation of vampire society from the corrosive old chains of their rivals. The Camarilla, which has its claws in almost everything. There is a reason why you and yours might consider them. They possess a relic that can break the blood bond. I know, I possess one for my own purposes.
>>97983158>What is this comic con? Why are vampires of multiple sects frequenting this presumably kine event? How did you even learn this person was a Tzimisce, let alone without providing your own clan?Funnily enough my sire and some of the fellow Nosferatus have discussed this. They told me that things seem to be getting more and more 'lax' about Clans and allegiances these days, that there's a lot more of what does he call it, 'antitribu' and that newer kindred are overall way more lax about clan identity, grudges and all that. Guess that human atomization and death of culture carries over into our undeath for those embraced in the 21st century. Lot more clan mingling and a lot more vamps of once-Sabbat clans not being Sabbat anymore it seems.
>>97984840>Can I know my traits or the Nobles'?To a degree. Every clan has an additional weakness, some more obvious than others. Nosferatu are monstrous in form. Tzimisce, who I now further suspect your Lord to be, must sleep with soil from their homeland, else their powers will slip away. If you want to figure out your own lineage, start with what powers you have. >I may be lost in translation, but I've heard "koldun."This is a Tzimisce term, it's their word for sorcerer, to my understanding. They practice a specific type of magic distinct from typical vampire disciplines. Tzimisce are typically in the Sabbat, but some are independent. >Now this is a headache and a half.Welcome to unlife, childe. Everyone has their biases, and their agendas, as you can see from someone claiming to be Sabbat. Obviously, they are more favorable to the organization than I am. I will be honest with you, I consider the Sabbat to be the lowest form of vampire. They're wantons and murderers, and the more deluded or insidious ones justify it through appeals to a coming apocalypse, or paranoid conspiracies about world-ending Antediluvians. It's a lie, even if some believe it. It's just an excuse to indulge their darker urges. I would not suggest you join them, even though their rite can shatter the blood bond. Before you make any choice, I'd suggest you ask yourself what exactly you want. Figure out what you want before you take any drastic action. Keep your head down and learn. Good luck, I am happy to answer your questions, but you need to make your own decisions.
>>97984872You seem to be a good fellow. I shall endeavor to look you up if I'm ever in that area. To bittersweet unlives. >>97985101This is certainly news to me. Even with other vampires I'm hardly a socialite, but this is the first time I've heard such claims. Sounds like a great way to get picked off by slightly older neonates with less shall we say open minds.
>>97985510Well it is all relative. Of course there's still clan shit its just my sire pointed out that, compared to say 100 years ago there was a time when certain clans were very strictly hardline in embracing from specific ethnic groups, religions or social classes and he consider it to be way more loose amongst the current gen of vampire. Back in his day more than 3/4 of vamps would fit those stereotypes he tells me. Relative to the time he was embraced there's a general trend toward what he calls 'absolutely queer' Kindred and he doesn't mean in the way they swing he mean in the sense that he finds them odd for not fitting clan stereotypes or at least those in his head. He seems to find Kindred embraced in the 21st century to be quite 'libertine'. How true this is overall....meh I don't know because I don't travel but I wouldn't find it THAT implausible to think the youngest generation of Kindred is a lot more loose with their clan image, expectation and in some cases loyalties because that follow the general trend of the mortal society we came from where people mix all the time.It might just be 'libertine' by the standards of older vamps. Or it could be some people are actually lying about their clans and affiliation to sound more interesting. Mortals do lie a lot in the social media age to present a 'cooler' image after all so it could be that!
>>97984840Don't buy that cammy lick propaganda. Yeah, we're Hardcore, but we're not sociopathic idiots. Okay some vamps that call themselves Sabbat are, but fuck those guys. And what Garous said is true. We've got a little ritual we call the Vaulderie. A Pack of vampires does it togother, and they all like each other a bit more, in exchange they can't be blood bond, and it breaks any they have.
Well shit, two more dead guys. Not ghouls, just guys-who-worked-with our ghouls. Seems we're still taking collateral from the oversized mutts. They are persistent I'll give them that.

I decided I would tell the first wife of the lord I meet I want to serve him better. Cue Redhead. She went: "Do vhat you're told. Fail and you die." I didn't want to play this card so soon, but I told her the lord mentioned room for improvement, and I wanna be able to protect an important passenger or cargo if I'm attacked away from the mansion.Redhead calls the daughter of the lord, Zoryana, who comes back with a Mosin-Nagant rifle, and organizes a shooting class since I had swordplay beaten in me by the sons. Redhead asks if she forgot anything important, Zoryana rolls her eyes in frustration and gets a riding crop from the stable. At least it fits the role of a military instructor better than her dress.I only used guns in videogames. I watch a tutorial on YouTube and shoot those steel targets. Guns are loud and make tons of smoke. Thru all the class Zoryana goes: "Faster! Faster! Faster!" tapping the crop on her hand.In the fifth round of practice, she says: "Imagine a favorable wind." I watch her with the side of my eye do this strange pose with her raised arms in a V shape, then forms an X in front of her chest. Guess I had to really imagine the wind cause there wasn't a blade of grass moving. I say nothing and focus on the shooting. Before the last round she points with the crop and exclaims: "Twelve o' clock! Waffen-SS!" I swear to God I was firing faster than the pros I saw on YouTube. She corrected me when I yelled: "For the Motherland!", turns out it's actually Fatherland...
>>97988253Zoryana asks me how I feel. I'm like: "I think I am ready to die for you, Zoryana." She doesn't like it, rips the rifle off my hands and throws it away, screams: "No! No one won a war by dying! Don't die for Zoryana! Survive for Zoryana! Endure for Zoyrana! Suffer for Zoryana! Live for Zoryana! Kill for Zoryana!" With every verb she says, she hits me with the riding crop, and there is anguish in her words, anguish that hits me much harder. She pulls my hair and whispers in my ear: "Be patient. The wives of the lord are watching. They expect me to whip you into shape, literally. I don't believe in these teaching methods anymore, I should say I'm sorry - just not this time. This one time I am not sorry because I mean every word I just said. We've been drafted into a war and I have no intention of losing, soldier."I felt miserable and tried to de-escalate and apologize. Zoryana doesn't deserve to feel any negative emotion. All things considered, this is easier on the body than fencing with the sons. But if we're at war, won't someone tell me what are the objectives? General strategy? Victory conditions? The darn enemy? Our own forces and allies?Once we're back inside the mansion I thank Zoryana, and Redhead, for the lesson and discipline. I think something changed in me. Besides dying, I mean. I used to swear like a sailor, now I don't, I was clumsy now I can do this? So to change the topic, I ask them how did I become so fast with a gun in such short notice. And accurate.Redhead licks her fangs and says, cackling: "Look for ansver in your blood, vampir." Then I ask: "Am I a vampir because I was turned by another vampir, not by a Noble?" Redhead grins and confirms that my blood is 'impure and inferior.' Zoryana shakes her head.
>>97985004>any context informationEh, I don't actually speak any Slavic language. Since she did the closest thing to magic I saw so far, I asked Ms. Rafastio if what she uses to heal me is this koldun thing the Nobles mentioned many times. She says what she uses is something more ancient. Other things she told me while being very touchy and inappropriate as always: she's 'neither vampir nor Noble', she's from an Italian family, she always wears black for traditional reasons, and casually mentioned men are useful only as either adult toys or meat shields for women.

>>97988280>Do these Tzimsce or Tzimisce have more powers or weaknesses I should know?I'm a Tzimisce but I must explain there is the old clan and the new clan. The old clan eschews the use of the new clan's signature discipline, "vicissitude" or "fleshcrafting". The old clan tends to use koldunism instead, but these are not hard and fast rules. Some old clan use vicissitude, some new clan use koldunism. Only with both can a Tzimisce craft the greatest of fleshcrafted creations, the "vozhd" or "war ghouls", massive creatures made of several fused subjects. I have a hunch your masters are of the old clan based on that, but be careful, being fleshcrafted is painful and horrifying. I am of the new clan myself, and I like to make Pokémon out of animals I befriend. As for weaknesses, I'd be a fool to share information that could endanger my brothers and sisters, so you'll have to find that out on your own or from someone else.
>>97988611I don't think I've seen animals resembling Pokemon (huh?) or people being tortured by having their flesh "crafted" or bodies fused anywhere. The Nobles use more mundane instruments of torture. So this house belongs to the Tzimisce of the old clan, who went from Ukraine to Virginia Hunt Country then. I think this means the soil was moved over too. Do old clanners usually think themselves superior to other vampires?OK the next riddle is what am I, then how to escape this "plantation."

They're EXPECTED to die, and do it in a loud messy way, because the Cam looses their shit when a big ass Masquerade breach happens. (Or at least, they DID, till overuse got them inured)I only called myself Shovelhead as a tongue in cheek reference to me being Sabbat, the ritual and immagry of my Embrace, and the fact that when I first showed up on this board I didn't know shit about shit.
This is a reply to the person not yet born. Almighty kid, have you gone senile? Don’t pluck out eyes which rolled harmlessly. Thirteen the word is not thirteen the thing. Is there ever any irony in the rites the Sabbat performs? Like telling Shovelheads they won't die as they are sent to their deaths, or dressing up as a Catholic priest while reciting apocryphal scriptures? 2. Let's say my "sire" wasn't of the real Sabbat and it's not the lord of this house either, who or what do you think it was? If you have priests, do you have heresies too?3. Suppose you wanted to create Shovelheads, for orthodox or heretical motives. Do you do random attacks on people and then you come up with an elaborate ritual with burials or whatever, or you do you plan and stage the ritual first and foremost, and find suitable victims later?4. I'll bite. Who is this Dark Father and what does he want from me? I think there's already one in my life and Zoryana's tho.5. Does anyone in the Sabbat practice corporal punishment, torture, slavery, kidnapping, eugenics, suprematism, "tough love", and the rest of the horrors that infest this house? Do you and your immediate fellow Sabbat vampires do these things yourselves?6. What do you think of Old Clan Tzimisce in general and this belief the Nobles have they are pure and superior to other vampires?7. What would the Sabbat get from me?

Giving someone 'regular' your blood can have serious impacts. Potent enough that the effect is noticeable.>>97988280I've had to mould it but the ritae requires relic, 'pack' (IE two vampires at least), and the rite itself. It is mostly contained within the Sabbat. Mostly. I am obliged to not share much on this, oath-bound as I am, but I do have two individuals at present who wish for a degree of security in such a ritae.Along with... Well there has been good reason it's been slow beyond the oaths. But should you find your way north? Well. Who knows. That's the extent of what I can offer right now. My cat is having issues today and I'm dealing with a lot of shit right now.>>97988751I'm passing a preemptive ban on bombings without requests.>>97989955Ha. Ain't that something. Good little habibis.
Hello everyone. I don't think I'm technically allowed to use this network but I'm growing desperate. My teacher - I guess domitor is the right word - hasn't been seen or heard from in almost a full month. The other - Kindred? A big, ugly looking guy - I know won't tell me anything. I'm trying to hold our group together but it's all falling apart and I feel so powerless and empty on the inside. I don't know what to do. Can anyone help me?If anyone sees her, can you please tell her to come back to us? She's a short woman, around five feet tall, very pretty with straight, shoulder-length hair the color of a Hershey's chocolate bar and these stunning blue eyes that almost look like they could glow in the right light.
>>97990828>Can I speak to your sire at some point Nïa?I'll ask, they're even more of a hermit than I am though. But they do lair a scant ten minutes away and they've been strangely accommodating of the whole Winnipeg situation compared to normal. I didn't think I'd get permission to show up at the meeting but I did.>The ground has been accommodating but something feels... Hard to describe. That's not great. I've owned this place since before I was turned I don't want to find out it's cursed. I finally paid off the last of the mortgage with the cash rumplestilzfucker gave me for the crabs.
>>97989884>>97990622Hoooh, boy. Okay, if I try to answer this in bullet point form it's just gonna be confusing and unhelpful. So...Broad Strokes. We run on blood. Specifically, blood is like crude oil and our bodies turn it into Vitae. How high octane your Vitae is depends on how many generations removed from Cain you are, because when you make a new vamp, their Vitae is a bit weaker than yours. And yes, Cain still walks the Earth. And what he wants for us? I doubt anything. FROM us though...probably to kill his treacherous grandchildren. See the Second Generation, those vampires directly turned by Cain? Dead and eaten by the third generation, who were the begining of Clan Bloodlines. More on that if you sign up.As for shovelheads, there's no ritual to it. You wang a human upside the head with a shovel turn em, and bury em. They wake up and dig themselves out pissed off and starving and they Frenzy. Vamps are predators. We've got really intense fight or flight instincts that can overwhelm us. Tge tactical advantage is that tge eyes if hunanity turn in the area the Shovelheads fucked up, making vamps have to hide out and not eat for a few days. Which leads to hungry and cranky vampires. Which is a headache the higher ups in the Cam. Because for all our power, despite the fact that we fucking eat people, HUMANITY can't know we're real or we would have Hans amd Franz kicking in the door to our havens and Werfing their Flammens all over our faces like a cheap porno. As for all that other shit...Vampires ARE superior to humans. They're food. Yeah, there's a lot of them. Yeah, they have dangerous toys that can kill us. They're also so stupid they don't realize there's a thousand amd ine species out to eat their fucking faces and have been since humanity was a bunch of fur draped cavemen huddling around a fire. We fucking eat them.
>>97990622>So the way out of the plantation is... another plantation? Is that all?Well, there is a third plantation to choose from. We're all picking cotton until the Moon bleeds regardless.
>>97991805It isn't cursed at least I know what that feels like (unfortunately) so your good there. More like... The things of the land feel anxious. And thanks. Interesting events back in the city tonight.>>97991087That is a bad patch to be found in, I can't say who'd be able to help you or even would be present.
>>97991866>there is a third plantation to choose from. We're all picking cotton until the Moon bleeds regardless.Depressing.>>97991812>They wake up and dig themselves out pissed off and starving and they Frenzy. This gotta be why I have lapses in memories from that first night. Maybe.>Vampires ARE superior to humans. They're food. Yeah, there's a lot of them. Yeah, they have dangerous toys that can kill us. They're also so stupid they don't realize there's a thousand amd ine species out to eat their fucking faces and have been since humanity was a bunch of fur draped cavemen huddling around a fire. We fucking eat them.Hm. I have another question. If you're organized in "packs", which reminds me of hunting groups more than old money feudal estates, do they travel? How do Tzimisce travel if they lose their powers without their home soil? Should I join the Sabbat, I might need to know this for Zoryana, and, if I find out I'm some kind of Tzimisce too, for myself. So how do they do it?For a moment I imagined Errand Knight the nerd, and Zoryana the long-skirted rich bitch preppie daughter of conservatives. They happily march together with the circus freaks dressed in black from the pictures in Guide to the Sabbat, like the Brujah and Toreador Antitribus. They couldn't fit any less with each other, but they act like it's normal cause of the Vaulderie and Vinculi... I think it's hilarious.>>97990828>What a mess.Bad mess but I am not giving up.>Egh. Yea of course that checks out, to my understanding there are some vassal families of the old Tzims that have been 'altered' with how long the blood relation existed. Giving someone 'regular' your blood can have serious impacts. Potent enough that the effect is noticeable. But if what Ms. Rafastio does is not koldun, what is it? Do non-vampires have magic too?>That's the extent of what I can offer right now. I am considering your offer. You're the only animal blood advocate I know...
>>97992746>How do Tzimisce travel if they lose their powers without their home soil?Easy, bring at least two full handfuls of soil with you and sleep with it.>I am considering your offer. You're the only animal blood advocate I know...I also survive off mostly animal blood but there's a catch, the lower your generation the less animal blood sates you. I'm of the 12th generation so animal blood does me just fine, but if you're say, the 8th generation, not so much.
>>97993534>Easy, bring at least two full handfuls of soil with you and sleep with it.Where do you store them? Home? Under the bed? Pockets?>the lower your generation the less animal blood sates you. I'm of the 12th generation so animal blood does me just fine, but if you're say, the 8th generation, not so much.Never felt more disturbed reading these boards. Does this mean Zoryana can't join my "ascetic lifestyle"? And if I stay with her I'd become her accomplice? Oh no. They gave me animal blood because they think mine is impure. Was this what they actually meant with Noble vs vampir? Animals feed off animals and the aristocracy of monsters feeds of people? No no no not like this... Please. Why, Zoryana, why why why why WHY
>>97992746>>97993534I'll also add, the blood of beasts is something you or anyone CAN acclimatize to, given enough time and avoiding other options. I didn't have much of an option as a fledgling to hunt normal folk, and hunting wild animals fresh was something I did for years before I learned the whole deal. Still do hunt as a wild creature and rarely kill my quarry on principle to avoid dependence on kill satiation. Still can feel an encounter with a Loup I had down in Nor Cal weeks back. That shit hits like a truck and can turn you mad.>>97993793Can't speak for the former, but much of the latter is 'Maybe.' Maybe she can't be ascetic, maybe you'll be a mewling dog for her if you don't wisen. But that Vampir stuff is a bunch of bullshit, and the rest can be changed. Cause you're filled with Divine Fire that lets you make CHOICES.For context; Mine is the feral clan, forever burdened with the funny slander oft ascribed to the Welsh. Wild animals. Beasts. But that is just the starting circumstance, and your 'masters' are little else but maggots writhing in a corpse called legacy. More puerile than the most mindless of my cousins stalking the deep swamps. You are not degraded by feeding on animals. You are not enhanced by feeding on normal people. God knows my fucking Cat defaults to the latter for her own reasons. But the rest is up to you.
>>97993534Also, also, just a warning with the 'shopping' we did last night for a reserve, we're planning on unstaking the Tremere tonight.Door to the RV should be open so help yourself to anything in the fridge. It should be marked properly now.
I WANT TO TALK TO ZORYANA RN AND FIGURE OUR OPTIONS OUT BUT SHES STUDYING AND IM STUCK IN THIS STUPID TRUCKANYWAY YOU ARE ALL AMAZING PEOPLE TYSM
>>97993793>Where do you store them? Home? Under the bed? Pockets? All of the above. I keep mine in a jar and cuddle it when I sleep if I'm on the road. Some people spread theirs around their sleeping spot. Dracula lines his coffin with it. Some fleshcrafters keep it in flesh pockets. Regular pockets work too.>>97994113Dude, you're hopelessly blood bonded to her.>>97993985Okie dokie. I should have told you I have some bottles of deer blood stored up in the kitchen fridge. If you have any human blood I might nick a bottle/bag, it's been a long while since I've had human blood.
>>97994371>Some fleshcrafters keep it in flesh pocketsI am 75% sure the local ex-sabbat autarkis is full of dirt now rather than silicon. Don't know if that's more disturbing or less.
>>97994371>Some fleshcrafters keep it in flesh pockets.Bruh.>Dude, you're hopelessly blood bonded to her. What do you mean? I thought the good stuff was the lord's blood? She's the only one that cares for me, why do you accuse her?
>>97994457Look buddy Imma thin blood and therefor actual scum, but, like, dude. Most cainites got a thing called 'pyramids.' Most kindred society is based on the pyramid scheme. You get bonded childr and ghouls, your childr get their bonded childr and ghouls, and all the way down. Makes sense they'd keep you at the bottom rung of the puramid and bind you to her as a servent. Fuedal stuff ya know?Id offer to merc and amaranath9i her for you but i dont want none of that. Holding out to nab a legit wizard.
It is done. Bleu is avenged. Shoveheads aint got vitae for shit though. Though considering my hobo boomer I strapped claymores to, that’sto be expected. I’ve got at least 50 stab wounds in my torso. He tried using this weird eye thing that bleu talked about. It worked for a bit and he tried to stake me. Thankfully my heart wasn’t there. This is the second time vicissitude has saved my life. It’s definitely handy in cases like this. I’ve got him pinned to the ground by a holly tree. I need vitae badly but don’t know if I should drain him, diablerize him, or just keep him like this as a trophy. What say yall?
>>97994698I'm not normally one to suggest diablerie (in fact I despise it) but perhaps Bleu's soul would rest better in a friend than an enemy. Plus he was a diablerist anyways, so, eye-for-an-eye.
Su muerte es tuya Pero Quiero esos dientes
>>97994698Wait! That name, is it a nickname or a given name? Was it a woman? If it was a woman, was her last name Faycott? When you say you avenged this person, what exactly do you mean? Where are you? I NEED TO KNOW, THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO ME!!!
>>97994698You'd think he'd realize the stabbing wasn't working after the first strike. Then again Jan was never the brightest creature.>>97994991Was your mistress... How do I say this politely... Snakey?
>>97994796Don’t know if that’s how it works. Even my sire, a willing victim, is fading from my mind. >>97994837Very well. May I keep a fang though? I’ll pull all other teeth out and send them to you. >>97994991She was French. I don’t believe her last name was prescott. Tig ol bitties and on the shorter side. A treat to the eye and the heart. That who you talking about? She was killed and diablerized by this dog named Janus. I hunted him across the south, from Jacksonville FL to fucking Virginia, where I’m currently. Bleu was based down there in gator land. >>97995005Well after the third try he just started stabbing my torso like a prison shanking. Once I broke free of his eye thingy, I headbutted him and broke his stupid ass nose. My heart was in my pelvis, behind my pubic bone. There’s a joke there, I’m certain of it.
>>97995510I have devoured many. Many Cainites. Some remained. Others shattered. I am only myself now though. That carnage out west of you, where those shovelheads ran. I am there. You shall hear us. Ooka is eating the second last of the stragglers...One escaped. She was brave, fought head on in the face of death. Worthy. You may keep one fang, the rest I will grind to dust and inhale.
>>97995005Um... she doesn't have any scales or anything if that's what you mean. She is soft and always moves with an easy sensuality that I guess you could describe as serpentine. I saw her perform this belly dance once that was mesmerizing, but those are the closest things I could say are "Snakey" that I recall.>>97995510Oh no. No no no no! That IS her! How could this happen!? Why didn't anyone tell me? She was preparing me to pass through the Gate of Blood. She said I was almost ready to join her divine lineage. And now it's... gone? What's going to happen to us now? What am I supposed to do?
>>97994698You know Lex Talionis? Suck him. Or fleshcraft him to do something unpleasant until the sun comes up.>>97994457My man, the fact that you can even think of leaving the noble but not her proves two things: he hasn't blood bonded you, she has. Oh yeah, that thickening blood cuts twice. There are vamps old enough with Vitae thick enough even plain ass human blood fails to satiate. Those vamps HAVE to drink vitae straight from other vamps. This is the big shadow war tye Sabbat are fighting. Against those fuckers.
>>97995896Oh dear. Did Professor Faycot leave a Cult of Blood Worshipers behind? Alright, round up your fellows and bring them to the uni, someone will be aling to collect you shortly. I owe it to my former citizen to care for her people in her absence.
>>97993985Good news, my sire is coming over tonight to meet with you and MeoMeo. I guess I'll RP my sire, I don't really have them fleshed out though so go easy on me.
>>97994698By default I recommend against taking the easy or baser paths. It started with that, and your main ally is barely hanging onto sanity.But... Well. Bleu got it bad. Pay the debt in full.>>97995563You better take care of that creature. Finally running the shovelhead with a shank / aka actual shovelhead stripper?>>97995896Endure.>>97996019So soon? Well shit with that schism brewing and a wake up party this is going to be a night. Doubly so with the Cat in the mood she's in.Going to need a full AAR come morning. Especially if the death cult pack hits the nitro.Loud and clear boss. Any ideas where you're going with them?
Is there a way to tell them apart? The cries of a wolf and a bona fide lupine? At night I walk the woods with a friend, my sire’s order. We are not in wolf country per se but much too close for my liking.Help me out, I pray
>>97995971Is this... legitimate? Ms. Faycott had been teaching me a little bit about Kindred rules and stuff and... well, do Princes usually make a direct contact like this? Are we about to be rounded up and killed as a potential breach of the Masquerade?
>>97996927Neat secret kindred. You can't! When a loupine wants to look like a wolf its actually just a fucking wolf. >>97997054On the one hand probably. Then again I hear Jacksonville is a fucking shitshow, and there is an opening in society. You feel like running boy?
>>97997108My city is most assuredly NOT a shitshow. That is merely malicious slander spread by those who think a Prince must be a Ventrue or Toreador, not a Gangrel. >>97997054Son, I assure you, you will be well cared for. On my honor as a Marine.
>>97992746>Should I join the SabbatNo, is the short story. They're left overs from schism that happened a half a millenia ago. Their calling card is hypocrisy and abusing lesser vampires because otherwise the Antidilluvians win or some shit. The three camps (Camarilla, Anarch and Sabbat) are also roughly in order of modernity). >CammiesThe Camarilla have rules yes, they are also the most likely to treat you as a valid political unit. Now its still vampires, your mileage may vary but at its heart, the Camarilla aims to be a home for all vampires. You don't have to join it, it's like vampire rights. They shouldn't just take you behind the shed for existing unless you break the rules. That's about twenty times more fair then any of the other options. >AnarchsThe Anarchs have a little less rules and is a bunch more bullshit with second rate 'big fish in a small pond' powers, who can't or won't toe the line for whatever reason. This is a mixed bag from Vampires who were burned from the Camarilla (sometimes for good reason) to older power structures from before the camarillah existed in certain areas. >Sabbat The Sabbat is a bunch of Third Rate Perverts>See shovelhead stripper Who are mostly puppets to a handful of powerful clans or individual vampires that are every bit as bad and fucked up as the Antidilluvians they claim to want to kill. See - your current situation. There's also an element of 3rd worldism/communism in there (which is why on paper their membership is a lot less vertical but reminder, they lie about that). I had thought you were ahh roleplaying as the kids say, but when you start to ask things about the sabbat I have to reiterate , even if this is RP>The Camarilla is your best shot at being treated Fairly in this afterlife. It's not to say it's perfect. It's just that the other options are that bad.
>>97994796>>97995949>>97996876It seems like there is a consensus. This solves two problems as I’m far enough away from society there was going to be ISSUES refeeding. Low gen. Fantastic, UNLIMITED powers, but damn the hunger is something else. I have skinned him and applied muriatic acid to his hands, face, and soles of his feet. I’ll keep his hide in some glycerin and alcohol to preserve it untill I can make it into something.>>97997192Semper fi or that gangrel offshoot I’ve heard rumors of? Or both?>>97997054I’m sorry son, if I could isolate her vitae from this cur’s I would but that’s not how it all works. Were I a decade or so older, I wouldn’t mind siring you as Bleu spoke highly of you here, iirc. If you’re still around in 10-15 years and want to be of the honorable order of the dragons, find the most addictive alcohol. It’s bound to be me or Kakaphoni making it. >>97995949>>97994457as said above. I don’t normally feed from kindred unless concerningly wounded, but even as young as I am, it’s an issue. Oh and blood bounds are stronger the older the bonder is, I think. On with it then, he’s not even screaming which is half the fun of skinning and salting someone. when I get around to making Chelys’ character sheet, I can’t imagine him higher than3 humanity after two diableries and making a hobo suicide bomber. Looks like it’s path time!
>>97995563Oh, I’ll bring you the teeth tonight. He actually cried when I yanked them out. >grind them and snort themFucking hardcore man.
>>97996876Don't worry they're no stuffy old elder, they'll probably just pop in to say "hi" and then bounce after an hour. They're pretty cool like that. Gen 11 and they're only 70. A small androgynous humanoid shows up in an Audi Q5 with two unnaturally large mastiffs in tow and introduces themself as "Alex". I can never tell if they're a trap or a tomboy on any given day as they shapeshift often, hence the gender-neutral pronouns. They stick around for the wakeup to defend their childer if need be but they don't get in the way or impose themselves, very chill. The mastiffs too are very chill, they sniff around the new people a lot then lay down and watch what everyone is doing. They leave after about two hours as long as nothing deadly happens. [/spoilers]
>>97997553Semper Fi. I was killing Barbary pirates shoulder to shoulder with Stephen Decatur before my embrace, If you'll forgive the braging.
>>97997615Hell yeah brother! There are no ex-marines, only different uniforms than before. Did that play a part in your embrace or just happen to coincide with it?
>>97997658Once I survived for a year and my Sire contacted me, I was indeed informed my actions had influenced his decision.
>>97997658So it is done, I have a childe again. I have signed the letters, called in the favours. I have watched him feed, and now. He goes apart from me, I have to admit, This is probably the most I've felt in decades. Julian's transformation was mostly unremarkable although some aspects of it appear to have resurfaced or perhaps I am saying that my own embrace was somewhat atypical to the lineage. While our clan is lknown for animalistic features Julian's eyes shine perceptably in just about all conditions. Perhaps as strong as half a candle. And his fangs are well developed but held out, It's good he's going to the mountains. It will give him some time to learn to overcome these small flaws. His ability with Fortitude does seem to take after me, which is a small resemblance. When I awoke this evening, the first night without Julian, I found in his room a box, addressed to me. There was a wide brimed hat, a cowboy hat as you style it. I haven't worn one in decades but now, I have another. I think I'm going to close up the house for a bit. I have become too much of a recluse I think. It's time to walk I think, get out there and do. Don't worry /schreck/. I won't leave you behind. I know you've lived a hard life, sometimes you just need stories about not-quite eldars who are too fond of their ghouls to even it out. https://youtu.be/lPHKRzJDKK8
>>97997520What this fellow is leaving out is his position as a former Archon for the Camarilla. That is to say: he was the Camarilla equivalent to a member of the Gestapo. An enforcer, inquisitor and spy all rolled into one.He is also leaving out that the Camarilla exists enforce the status quo. The status quo being primarily for the benefit of its elders. If war comes knocking at your doorstep, you will be the meat shield between the hordes at the gate and those elders. That is the most likely way they’ll treat you as “a valid political unit”: just a body to throw at a problem. If you aren’t one of their valued elders, they don’t care what happens to you. A couple of years ago, Chelys had a ranch that was attacked by Lupines (that’s werewolves, just so you know). Did the Camarilla lift a finger to help him? No. You know who did help him? Stripper and her pack.I’ll take this opportunity to point out that Chelys is NOT a member of the Sabbat or otherwise hostile to the Camarilla. This is how the “home for all vampires” operates. If you have a chance, join up with the Anarchs. It’ll be more like joining a gang, with a Baron as the gang leader. Since they usually control a smaller territory compared to a Camarilla Prince, the Baron is more likely to be concerned for your well being on a personal level, rather than the abstract “for the good of the city.”
>>97997796Thank you, I didn't realize I had a fanclub. >The status quoYes, we rightly enforce that. When you think of all the nice things that modernity has given us? The network of computers? Television? A developed banking system? A means of regulating feeding grounds? >You're Welcome>Attacked ChelysI don't know all the details, but if the local prince didn't see fit to help Chelys, that sounds like a local political grievance. You can only say>Treated Equally So many times before licks tune it out. The Camarilla is not a charity, And after Chelys' self admitted questionable practices, indifference is the best he could have hoped for. >>97997796>Anarchs are like a gangYes, it's a good analogy. Maybe the gang leader likes you, maybe he doesn't. it doesn't change the fact that they lack resources and inevitably fairness when push comes to shove.
>>97997735forgive me, I'm a bit woozy from eating someone and their soul, but how am I involved in this?>>97997796>>97997853I miss the bar and arena. The ghoulodiles singing their mating calls. Yeah the dallas prince thought I was a novelty, and the nacogdoches prince just wanted literal bars of gold and barrels of blood wine to not claim I was a political threat. I've had better personal interactions with sabbat members, but I understand the necessity of the camarilla and it's establishments for the survival of kindred-kind. Until we can all sing KUMBIYAH and guide our kine brethren with our centuries to millenia of wisdom and they protect us during our torpor and see the whole species to new heights of innovation, this whole thing is fucked so just try not to actively piss people off man. You'll go far!
>>97997853>The network of computers? Television? A developed banking system? You're not seriously going to try and convince someone that the Camarilla had a hand in developing those things, or would even care if they all vanished and humanity slid back into the Dark Ages, are you?>Treated EquallyAnd you're not seriously going to say with a straight face that a system of government structured after a LITERAL FEUDAL HIERARCHY really treats everyone within it equally and fairly are you? Even the the damn Traditions are selectively enforced by the will of the fucking Prince! For that matter, why don't you tell the kid what a Scourge is, hmmm?
>>97997553Don't forget to collect the bounty, man. Six figures of dough and vengeance sounds like a pretty sweet deal.
>>97998892>or would even care if they all vanishedI long for it. I have read of EMPs. Accursed fucking Sun could do us a solid, send some of its rogue energy this way. Blacken the world forever.Think of it. No more electricity. No more superweapons. Banking system fucked, kine political system goes belly up. Kindred rule all nations for a thousand years
>>97997192Alright. Since I can't think of any other options, I'll gather everyone together at the university tonight.
Finally talked to Zoryana, my only ally rn.1) Whom do we fight? She agrees w/ most of you: "Noble vs vampir" distinction is false, vampires divided across clans and sects, the lord of the house is independent, we hide from mortals and have non-vampire enemies, to exist is to fight.2) Do us 2 stay indie if we lose the protection from the lord of the house? Not enough power, should join a sect. Rundown:- Camarilla: larger, you don't "join" it cause it demands all vampires to follow the traditions, but not to attend rites/meetings, compatible w/ aristocratic lifestyle, live w/ humans and stay sufficiently human- Sabbat: live for the pack, fight everything not in the pack even other packs, mandatory rite attendance, no humanity, short life- Anarchs: weak, too focused on continuing human politics and imposing their standards on a fundamentally unequal society, aristocrats like her are the enemy3) Living off animal bloodCalls a maid, shows me the kiss: 1 sip, no pain, death, haemorrhagic shock. We evolved to parasitize humans for 1000s of years, pleasant for both like sex helps the survival of the species. Meanwhile the blood they feed me comes from butchered animals4) Blood bondI describe the good stuff, she says it's vitae stored for old vampire guests, is shocked & mortified to discover the lord made me her blood slave
She had a ton of questions for me, how I feel about her, etc. and like two of you, she concluded the blood must be hers, but the lord fed it to me, and I never saw her before my fourth night in the house - that is no coincidence.I never suspected her and I don't think Zoryana would have ever said I'm blood bound to her, had she wanted it... Am I right? Some of you said not to trust anyone, but isn't this a valid reason to trust her?Seeing her like this makes me sad. And mad.
>>97998892>hand in developing these thingsYou think they didn't? You're telling me the secret masters of the world who rule by night haven't approved of the current state of the world. Make up your mind, are the Cammies, status quo or not? >treated equally As equally as is possible. There are some very powerful vampires, either by right of blood or politics. Those vampires are treated on a case by case basis, but outside of eldars (which frankly not even the princes see regularly and most of the gang will never see), Yes. Everyone in this thread, would be treated roughly the same. Not to say that a prince may not play favorites, not to say that different results may happen if you can't keep your blood under control or if you run your mouth too much. But equal. Frankly, I am amazed that people have such a problem with this. Has practiced indifference not been the status quo for centuries now? Equal, you are a vampire. You get treated according to how dangerous and powerful you are. Equal. >Scourge They kill those poorly conceived and illegally embraced. Yes, if you some daywalking ambination dreaming of diablerie and dealing in Pseudopotions, you will be killed. Yes, if your sire went against the wishes of the prince, he may have both the sire and the childe executed for rulebreaking. I never denied there were rules. The executioner position is known as a Scourge. >>97998966>kine political system goes belly up.The current one, the current soft one. The current soft one that doesn't kill vampires and is so materialist it has a hard time even processing the claim that undead vampiric monstrosities are ruling from the shadows.
>>97999291Don't play fucking dumb. You know damn well the status quo the Camarilla cares about has absolutely nothing to do with "protecting modernity" or any shit like that.
I think I accidentally ignited a political flame war...
The Winnipeg "Situation" (Recap 2)Alright so. I knew this would get bad but man this town was a strong breeze away from imploding.> The current nominally united front of the Sabbat has fragmented completely down into three surviving Packs.> 'The Snake Charmers' who are the most rabble-rousey of the local sect, they're essentially rogue shovelheads that survived long enough to be inducted and form their own organization. Still eating one another over who should be ductus but they are the bulk of the Sabbat muscle.> 'The Moctozumas' on the other hand are a smaller pack of Arch-Cons who've wanted to turn Montreal into Mexico City, and have been rotting here for a decade. After getting kicked out of Cali. Their Ductus (Romero) and Priest (Tlaloc) have wanted to kill one another since they arrived.> Then there is the 'Legion of Basalt.' In theory they're less extreme than the Moctozumas but they're less a pack, more a sub-cult.> Literally got altars up to Cain and their Priest (a wretch named Pontius) has been trying to name himself Archbishop of Canada for years. The legion is a dangerous threat but they never had the numbers to beat the Snake Charmers.> They'll also flay you if you say 'Code of Milan' because apparently that's secessionist and 'moderate' talk. > Anyone else present is either getting merged into one of the above or has vacated to follow Bonhomme's Bastards, especially as the Loups make raids near Assiniboine Forest and Fort Whyte.> Someone also burned down a chunk of houses over by Sage Creek. Don't know who, but it is making people nervous.> Anarchs have holed up completely and the Camarilla seems like they're planning to make a move. Don't know where though, or against who.> But the Loups, even the... New Recruits are having a field day. More arrive every day. The Wentiko are hungry.
>>97999686> Ultimately got the meeting with Baron Trelaine last night, at the Sikh Guru Nanak Gudwaram, over in East Kildonan.> To say the Baron wasn't happy is an understatement, and at one point he straight up accused me of being a Loupine infiltrator.> A Rumour that's been following me since Detroit.> While funny he's clearly at the end of his leash and it seems his Reeves have been pushing him to act.> Something Trelaine rejects. No deals with the Warriors of Gaia, no 'Accommodations with Indian Hordes.'> This won't be an issue I think, if the Baron sits on his hands I think we'll be able to get his people in on the Municipality.> Right now, we're waiting for a moment to commit to do something. A slip up. Many eyes on watch.> Now for the personal memo, we finally woke up our 'Sorcerer' last night, with the blessings of Fear's Sire.> When he realized what Fear and his Sire were, Sorcerer shot himself up a wall and began screaming. Dogs barked. He screamed louder.> Good news for his lucidity, but it took a while to get him down. Gün eventually had to pry him off.> Beyond that though the meeting with Fear's Sire was pleasant. > It would seem they remember when last I was in Winnipeg, probably more than I do.> Odd situation, odds are 'Alex' is younger than me, but has seemingly spent much more time on their path of the Metamorph. > After this there were no other major incidents, and I was able to preform a long awaited Ritae successfully. > More updates as they transpire. Winnipeg out.
>>97997572Dragons come in many shapes and forms. Always appreciate that. I doubt Alex has anything to do with the land's unease. Which... Doesn't leave us with many options. I might have some of the Loups nearby to check on the matter, this particular sort are more open to us. Uktes.>>97997658We've got a location now, so if you are still open to sending those Koldun things to our freshly wakened Eunuch you've got an address waiting in your DMs.>>97997690Lucky man. My sire never had the decency to find me.>>97999090>>97999125Animal blood weakens faster than human blood unless you cool it fast. Living off butcher dreggs is something I only ever see nosferatu fledglings do. It's as far away from the fresh stuff as human blood is to human corpse blood. And trust is earned over time. Generally you'd want to start somewhere else and build up things over time. You are what you reciprocate, I guess. Also, Blood Politics are just volatile like that. Don't worry about it.
>>97999686>After getting kicked out of Cali. Their Ductus (Romero) and Priest (Tlaloc) have wanted to kill one another since they arrived.A bit longer. Their infighting is why we lost San Diego. Word is the beef goes back to the Conquistadores warring with the Mexíca, but I don't buy that. Their blood's too thin and Llochy's nahuatl is trash-ass. I think it's just a case of an español ex-landowner feuding with an "uppity metiszo" like it's something to give a shit about in the year of our lord 1988, let alone 2026. And said metiszo trying to scare the new licks by throwing on a Turquoise skull mask and doing some shuck and jive that's supposed to be a mix of the Ritae and supposedly mesoamerican sacrificial rituals.Rituals to Tlaloc, who ritually; doesn't drink blood.

You know, the greek elements right? Add spirit/heart and that’s all the ones a novice needs to know about. This won’t be easy as you’re dealing with spirits that are older than any of us. They require “spiritual purity” and a sense of stubborness/determination that you can make creation itself your servant. It’s not like thaumaturgy where you do x, believe y really hard and it happens. It’s like training the most stubborn mule you’ve come across. >>98000317>If this one I’m sending the texts for, he’s gonna have a hard time. The path of metamorphosis does have spiritual effects.I think H0T wanted them for "Sorcerer," the baby Tremere she picked up. Alex and I wouldn't mind learning too, though as you say it might be too hard for us.

>>97999812Tragic. But not unexpected. If it is any consolation these two are going to lose Winnipeg as well. Any information on Pontius by the way? He basically popped up back in 2015, as far as I can tell out of the ground, Ex Nihilo. Full Sabbat but no background. >>98000317>The first text is a copy of the basic ways. You know, the greek elements right? It has been a while since I passed the mainline ways, but yes. Thanks brother.>It’s like training the most stubborn mule you’ve come across. Though, I suspect Sorcerer is in for a hard time anyways it should be possible. With the common variant, anyways. If I tried to explain Animism and Mahayana Metaphysics to Sorcerer in order to access my variant of the Koldun, he might go catatonic.>>98000444It might be possible, more so for you than your Sire.Granted, while I'm well read the intricacies of your clans splits over the Viss and the Koldun are... Difficult to fully parse. My teacher avoided speaking on those matters, and I realize now asked me to never say the 'D' name. Didn't even understand them, at the time.

We could use some powerups, the chujek in rojana keeps fucking with us selling product and i want him and his island gone.
>>97999460Don't worry about it. That happens all the time. The Cam want peace and stability. It WOULD be admirable if they weren't so miserably self righteous about it. And in conplete denial about Methuselas and Antediluvians.>>97999686Oh FUCK! I know those Moctuzuma bastards! It was the Horseman that ran them off! He was under orders to "get those annoying bastards out if my hair," from a Bishop back then, so he stopped chasing once they were out of the territory. So they went clear on to Canada, huh?You could probably fuck with the old guys in that pack if you got a pair of coconut shells. lol.You know if that Pontuis guy has torqued off any ordained Bishops?
>>98000742>Any information on Pontius by the way?Pre 2015, he's a damn ghost, couldn't even tell you his sire, pack or Clan.Post he's making everyone else ghosts. He's damn good with a Javelin, can incite near riots in a crowd and really likes drawn out executions. Specifically, he likes to watch. Likes to take prisoners and get them to choose who goes first, he likes watching that too.He also plays up the Roman thing, specifically the bits about the founders being raised by wolves.
>>97999291>the current soft oneI think you are missing the forest for the trees my friend. Soft people do not make rocket ships and atom bombs and other vicious things. Technology is the great equalizer. You know of that software which peers into faces? They could be a decade away from clocking kindred with a single glance. Then they will not be so soft, I think, with their autonomous bombs and pitiless drones. Better to live in a world without those evils.
>>98001923And yet, as best I know my history, the times that have given our kind the most trouble were Medieval or earlier. The first city fell in what the bronze age? Earlier? Rome fell, in what the 5th century? I understand the frustration, but yes. This is soft. Technology in many ways make them soft. It's hard to give a shit about your fellow man when you have your cakes and circusses beamed into your phone and delivered to your door. You worry about advanced scanning and drones, which is fair. But that technology won't easily go back into the box as they say. The modern system, gives us tools to prevent this (human rights, capitalist acquisition, etc). Even simple things like modern logistics is such a force multiplier for our kind, and we need it because we're badly out numbered and will be at every step.
>>98001209The Koldun is something you can just learn. It's difficult certainly, but not impossible. Although for the orthodox variety abusing it can have... Issues. You can only take so much from the elements before they grow tired. Some being ancient and malevolent.>>98001253>You know if that Pontuis guy has torqued off any ordained Bishops? He's taken out at least three would-be Bishops. Although, two were only strong figures out of Quebec with the Bastards. The actual would-be pretender was another Mexico transplant, 'Hayreddin the Black' who he knocked off back in 2021. Word is he wants to be Bishop, but never had the impetus. Charmers would eat his people alive, apparently.>>98001812>He also plays up the Roman thing, specifically the bits about the founders being raised by wolves.Oooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh.It would be fitting, for where we are and what we are, but I really don't want this to turn into a proverbial Althing between the creep stalking us and an actually competent urban cousin. Spirits are weird yo.>>98000810That'll be more than enough to get things running again and rebuilt thankfully. The old growth timber will be a bitch to find though. I can accelerate some trees with vitae, but that's just gonna end up as Cathedral of flesh-diet version in a few decades. I miss her too. Nothing upon meditation or trying to speak in my mind. I hope she found rest at least.Well, the skin held up decently. Don't think I'll be able to make a tapestry of it though. Big ruckus in the mansion, a young man came to visit us. I woke up early and lent a hand to the butlers and we moved some furniture around. While this family is from Ukraine, this visitor is from Russia, I may know only a handful of words but I can tell their languages apart, it's cause in Ukrainian they say dyakuyu or vdyachnyy, and Russians say spasibo or blagodaryu.Call me biased but it looks like Virginia Hunt Country was the best place in the Land of the Free for these Old Clan folks to go and be extensive farming feudal boomers in. Call me biased, I can't think a better location myself honestly, maybe Texas has better taxation but the heat just ain't worth the effort.Zoryana told me to hide myself with a cross between a hiss and a growl, and my body automatically rushed to the darkest corner of the house, and this happens to be where the maids change their clothes. My living self would have been ecstatic, my present dead self feels guilty instead. Weird. But there's an even more radical change going on: the maids couldn't see me? It's like I wasn't even there.I thought I turned invisible until the dark haired first wife of the lord found me. She ask: "Are you hunting?", and I bow and I'm like: "No, Madam, the young miss wisely ordered your humble servant to make himself scarce. I wouldn't want to offend your esteemed guest or embarrass any of you in front of him." God bless Zoryana for her patience during etiquette lessons. And then Raven-hair left. She had the perfect opportunity to drag me down to the cell downstairs, and she's not even gonna accuse me of being a pervert or avenge womankind like anyone else on this planet would? Like she left, just like that?Bro, this guy's wives are too far gone. These women are completely mental I tell you. I think he has a type.Do all vampires turn invisible, fade from sight or whatever this power's called? But wait, there's more! I have bigger news...

Stay." stretching her hand in front of my face. Feeling relaxed now.Basically just like as the Russian speaking guest came to our house, Zoryana is visiting his - and God willing I'm going with her.Let's say, hypothetically speaking, of course, that some time after we leave, something "terrible" happens, and the plantation disappears, goes up in flames, becomes depopulated... in short we don't have a home to return to, and we would need a new one real quick. To reintroduce ourselves, we're this chivalrous dork handyman-driver fledgling from an unspecified clan, at least I think I can move somewhat fast and turn relatively invisible - and Zoryana, his classically trained young Koldun regnant lady from Old Clan Tzim, a fish out of water who is very uncomfortable with the abuse the monsters infesting this mansion commit on the regular. We're in Virginia Hunt Country. It's true that she said the Camarilla would be a better fit for her, but she also warned me that wanting to be in a sect, and being actually accepted by it, are two very different things. So - hypothetically speaking, sure - who here wants to adopt us, or has friends willing to adopt us, into their chosen sect, faction, gang?>>97999808>Living off butcher dreggs is something I only ever see nosferatu fledglings doZoryana meant humans can give you their blood willingly, not animals. I met with the Prince and his secretary. They brought along a man I didn't recognize; pudgy, balding wearing a tweed suit and bow tie that screams "I'm a serious academic. I'm so smart." The Prince says that he's a big shot for the Tremere. They had me take them to Ms. Faycott's haven. It's a lovely house that she was renting in St. Augustine - very historic looking. The pudgy man said he wasn't expecting to find much of value. I used the spare key Ms. Faycott gave me to unlock the door and go inside. I stood there staring as a wave of melancholy washed over me and the pudgy man shoulders past me, followed by the Prince and his secretary. I showed them to the back of the house, to Ms. Faycott's personal temple to Sutehk, and when the pudgy man saw all her writings and tools and relics he scoffed but I could see the greed in his eyes.He called some of his goons - Apprentices he called them. They're ransacking the place! One of the Apprentices burned himself when I tried to pick up Ms. Faycott's crook that she used during ceremonies, but they took it anyway. They desecrated the shrine to Sutehk! Even the Prince and his secretary seems disgusted with their looting and stepped back outside.I feel sick.
>>98006868Ahhh you suffer indignities before the craven lapdogs of the Pyramid! An inevitability, you poor needling juice-box.Though the age where they masqueraded in carnivals and secret societies is over, they are filled with avarice for any sort of mystic secret. Even the risk of 'working with the Sabbat' is ignored by their magisters and regents! I know this well! Even that SNIVELLING INBRED SANCHEZ was able to honey-pot such men as this rotund Tweed-Wearer several times. Just as I was forced to clean up the mess of these ambushes. If it is any consolation, such Cainites rarely profit from actual arcane lore. She can't be serious. I have to do everything again? It bears no obvious mark but the handle is darker than most. I had chalked it up to ash being worked into the linseed oil, but perhaps, perhaps. And don't worry about that Vaulderie thing. It immunizes a Pack against blood bonds by making them all be bonded to each other, like a...well, a pack. But the Strongest bond a Vaulderie can make is nothing compared to the lightest of Blood Bonds. You'll just view that one pack mate like your BFF at worst. So you and Zoryanna will totes be bonded to each other!
>>98003965>Fast and InvisibleHmm, It may be that your local lord is something of an Anti-tribu but the invisibility is fairly telling. It's sort of Romantic, I guess there are a few other options but for english speaking eurasian? I think this has to be a Malkavian bloodline. If it's not all just for a jake as they say, you should try to find something anything that would indiciate the bloodline, who sired your lord? They used to keep that sort of thing hidden in plain sight back in the day, check for a family bible, heirloom, hell even tapestries or murals?

>>98009579Did you want her things? Why didn't you say so? I didn't particularly enjoy that either, but I couldn't very well have a bunch of sorcerous artifacts lying around unsupervised in my city...
>>98009274He's not a nosferatu and the other options would be quite exotic, there's a chance he's deluded about his speed. OR perhaps the bloodline has mutated thru isolation. So unless they have a swarthy moor in their woodshed, I'm not sure who else i could be.
>>98009805It's more the impropriety of ransacking for lack of a better term. While I was sentimental towards her, her artifacts would've likely just been keepsakes of nostalgia for me. A bright student of hers, once embraced, would've made a fantastic recipient of these. Though if you also find this portly "scholar" annoying and want him gone, my fee is affordable.
I can't.Thought I was finally done packing and the girl innocently shows me a third wardrobe? She facepalmed, with both hands, said: "'An Assamite and a Tzimisce of the Old Clan walk into a prince's office' sounds like the incipit of a really bad joke."Anyway, Zoryana insists that she prefers the "Cammies", and wanted to know if we're really stuck with the Sabbat for the foreseeable, or if there is anything we may ask of you, or the others in the Camarilla to "ease our entry into the tower, and save us some headaches should our nights as unaffiliated vampires of Virginia come to a sudden end."And what's so bad about being an Assamite and what was all this talk about Moors and skin colors? >>98008172Rude.
>>98009842Ohohoho, no. I can't conspire to assassinate the Tremere Primogen! No, I just threw a bone to the clan so I can ignore their inceaseant prattle for a few years. "Ohhh, Prince, thr other clans persecute us! We are hated and despised! Protect us!" Meanwhile they have their property rigged with vitae powered mystical bombs strong enough to level half of the city... Bah. Just one more headache of Praxis. No. If I really wanted him dead I would, perforce, gather evidence of sufficient crimes to call for a Blood Hunt, present said evidence to his face (and the other assembled kindred) at an Eylisium, and then rip him limb from limb myself right then and there.I make it a point to remind my people every now and then that, despite my genteel speach, their Prince is still a Gangrel Leatherneck.
>>98010702>So the way out a blood bond is a stronger longer lasting bond? Is this the catch?Good instincts, but not quite in this case. God, how do I put this? Okay.So immagine one day you have an intrusive thought. Like you're in the locker room after a workout and you see another dude come out of the shower and out of nowhere your brain assaults you with a daydream of you gagging on his dong. Normally you shake your head and go "what in the fuck, brain?!" right? Not with a Blood Bond. And if you do manage to recognize that as an intrusive thought, your nuts get blasted by a taser for it.With the Vaulderie on the other hand, you're willing to buy the next round at the bar for people you don't know that well. Now, I LIKE my Packmates. But I still beaned an alarm clock off Jack's skull after that camera phone stunt. You get it?
>>98010702No, it’s the magic. Part of learning magic is literally becoming autistic about your particular field of it. >>98013820I looked them up. Trueven Venture Capital group. Founded by Heliodoros Apollonius Montgomery. Do you know of any ventrue with a sun theme? Bit weird for a kindred to be obsessed with it, but they are an odd bunch.
Fucking hell, everything's gone to shit ever seen the fucking wolf people came in and tried to wipe some of us. Spent days locking down every deep nook and cranny of our Clan dens. We had to scrap a lot of operations my sire and I were working on. The ghouls are dead, the guys who knew our ghouls are dead. The trailer parks and everything outside of downtown Nashville is a 'no feed' zone for the foreseeable future. This sucks because I was finally settled into my kindred routine and getting used to my feeding grounds and thralls.

>>98010702She seems to know your clan, but wasn't volunteering the information for you? I'm not convinced, I thought the Assassins were as tightly controlled as the Tremere, at least in my experiance. I know that there has been some sort of schism since, and they have shown up in greater numbers but still hardly what you would call common. If you are an Assamite, it would be practical to figure out where your sire is. I doubt, that there's an independent Fiend and an Independent Assamite just hanging out in their shared haven. Finally I managed to cut his own shirt on the third run by. He tried to cow me with a stare but it didn't work. I managed to walk him down and get a solid cut in. He laughed it off, until he tried to run. >I'm chasing him down now. I'm guessing whoever embraced him is waiting for him to return. Goratrixian propaganda would like you to believe Tremere foresaw the Vinculum and did a double reach around. This is unlikely. And stupid. More likely there are claims various powers behind the Sabbat themselves put- Well- "Themselves" and their 'demons' into the process. Raising the mental susceptibility of those who partake in the ritual excessively. The effects are most alleged in the house of Tzimsce and Lasombra, according to what I have deciphered. There is but one difference between how you and I are constantly reminding him that he happens to be the victim of a blood bond I did not wish for, and that is not my choice of words, but the fact that he is more likely to heed me.I humbly request that you spare me the accusation of endorsing my sire's delusions of social and genetic superiority, and direct it towards your nearest Ventrue. - Zoryana

>>98020372and it is I, you're faithful fool once again. I have no idea why this phone is different from the tablet I had before but here we are. As for my little stroll, I found my assaulter's sire, Toreador embraced in the heat of the moment and then once the street drugs wore off, dumped along the side of the road. The Sire, if you can call her that, then embraced her boyfriend so they could be together forever. So now they shank poors for kicks and drug money in and around Cooper. I'm surprised, they haven't caught more attention considering but I guess the boy got excited when he saw a real vampire. The Sire tried the same tricks basically as the fledgling, but seeing as I was prepared I got her on the first go. The first cut didn't so much, but bleed and that was all that it really needed to do. She came at me, half wild and she managed to snap the kitchen knife over my hide but did no damage. I managed to restrain her without cutting into her too much. They knew enough that they weren't getting out of this one. Still, I took a little mercy on them. I sent the fledge to get me rebar and charcoal. It took him a while, but you want to know a fun trick from the outback. While most vampiric scars heal each night, brands done onto areas soaked in someone else's vitae has fair lasting power. Sort of a waste of blood but watching the two of them wake up to the lingering feeling of a fresh brand has sort of made my night. I branded the fledge along the back because I'm acutely aware of my need for a dogsbody. I branded the female across the left side of the face. It was only rebar, so it looks a bit crude but you can make out the word I wanted. >SINPerhaps I'm something of a performance artist afterall. I haven't told them that the marks will fade in time yes. I'm waiting to see if there's more to them, but I guess there could be worst things then being the upright and virtuous paragon of law and order our masquerade needs in these trying times.

>>98021017I know of the man, I've meet him briefly during business. He's worst then a Ventrue, he's a lawyer. All I know is my master and my master's master would routinely (every decade or so) give him a lump sum payment to fuck off . I've also heard tell that he's on retainer for the Fey, which should give you an idea of his relative skill level.
The Russians have gone native: spoke only English, dress almost contemporary, lived here for decades.Panas = patriarch of this house, sire of Avdotya, Oleg (guest back home), and Bogdan (guy I called lord so far, sire of Zoryana). They're all in their early 40s.Avdotya couldn't believe how fast I picked up manners: hand out the lady off the vehicle, say "Servus", bow deeper in front of the women... Panas' handshake and pat on the back felt like a power hammer. Women greet each other by kissing the cheeks: right, left, right.I found out why the Tzims are so hospitable: guests are basically hostages, if you exchange 2 hostages neither of their families thinks of fighting. "...unless some tomfoolery is about.", says Avdotya. We had a surreal convo. Bogdan was already antiquated and a degenerate before his embrace, claimed to believe in courtly love of virtuous women then assembled a harem of brainless villainesses, Oleg was no mere guest but an invader seizing Bogan's whole estate... Seems Zoryana knew of the plot.Panas told us dispassionately: "We're excising that tumor. As for you, Zoryana, you will be spared, but since you have the opposite problem, being too human to be part of the Old Clan, when we say goodbye, you will be written off the records and live on as an Antitribu."This hit us like a truck."We have a few more gifts for you. Tomorrow night you will meet your thrall's sire, or the closest thing to one, he's in our custody. Happy birthday, grandchilde."We drank off Avdotya's wrists.>>98020372>Looks like you get to be Stripper's guest for a while. You valiantly defend the Camarilla, now you advocate for the Sabbat... >>98021017I was never much of a historian but no I believe the anabaptist movement came about long after the cathars, if they even existed. the current menace is recent, as far as I can tell someone embraced a number of cannon fodder from local mennonites over the 60s and they got out of hand. they essentially wiped out the local sabbat and made the camarilla depart. you would think that aged vampires would learn those lessons, but no. fortunately for my peers here I've wrestled the CRA for years and I've gotten very good at it. the Queen even allows most to operate within the range of her charitable ventures, in exchange for donations, of course.now this "trueven" organization, on the other hand? sloppy sloppy sloppy! >>98021609If you can get to an international airport (and tell me far enough ahead of time) I can and will arrange passage. You said Western Ukraine? I can make Belgorod but the next closest option would be in the south, Simferopol. Don't worry. It's only a soviet boarder crossing or a warzone. What could possibly go wrong. Hell if you can get to Odessa, I can figure something out even if it's not air but that's a long ways for you, I would guess. As for where in America? There's a few places I tend to recommend to fledgelings, Milwaukee comes to mind. Good town, safe for human and kidnred alike as long as you can follow the rules. You're spoiled for choice but frankly a lot of is too volatile for my taste (thus me not recommending LA or NY to you). I suppose Atlanta mostly seems settled, and hungry for new blood but just don't ask about what happened to the old guard there. I can get you set up in Brazil if you really are interested, but it's mixed down there. Probably too wild for you guys.
The Winnipeg "Situation" (Recap 3)If you ever get a coterie... I don't know. Ensure you set up a battle pit or something. Or a ball pit. Anyways, back to ongoing events.> It is with great displeasure that I inform you the Anarchs of Winnipeg have split> To my understanding, Trelaine's peers became increasingly frustrated with sitting out as the Loups grew more brazen> At least broadly, some were terrified and some wanted to fight this, while others seemed more... Agreeable > This divide resulted in someone SWATing their den and they've formally split up> I can account for seven people, one of whom seems to have fled Winnipeg via car, Nos probably, off for Saskatchewan > Two, a Cait and a Samdedi, joined with the Sabbat, specifically the Charmers who remain the largest group in town> I myself got two recruits out of this. Both Gangs, one of whom is actually an acquaintance who thought I died in Marquette> Baron Trelaine survives with at least one partner, and rumour has it he's in with the Camarilla now> Now that isn't ideal but it takes one issue out of the way. Unfortunately we have another.> In the South-West corner of Winnipeg there's the Assiniboine Forest and it seems our stalker has moved in. > Which would be fine if they hadn't caused us five masquerade violations with as many bodies> With said bodies found hanging from trees> Only one sighting of this freak, apparently naked of all but “blue paint.” Which. REALLY GREAT. No. Wonderful. Nice. Cool.
>>98023698> Additionally it seems like the Sabbat Civil War in this town has opened up in full with the “Moctozumas attacking the Legion"> I'm 90% certain this was a Camarilla False-Flag, but Pontius, Romero, and Tlaloc don't seem to care> Pretty sure Pontius is in the loop and wants to finally consolidate his position, while Romero is dumb and Tlaloc is bloodthirsty and insulted> It would seem the Camarilla and the Snake Charmers are happy to watch this play out> Now for some good news we've finally got more friends of mine arriving in the area> I'm pretty sure Victoria and William are in town and Horns arrived with some of the last people due> Seems like the Loups can feel something about the Assiniboine Stalker but they seem divided on what it actually is> And going by the Cat's meltdown the other day, I have my own ideas> More as this goes further to shit and I'm sure Acras just finds a way to ruin my fucking night>>98020660Gün heals fine, just slowly. The ancient Tremere made his 'phenotype' purposefully flimsy. Fortunately it was just surface breakage. Physically our Sorcerer is also fine. Mentally he was snapped into itty bitty pieces then blown up, as he says.God. We haven't had something hit the Cat this bad since So-Cal. Doesn't paint a great picture. That was the kind of yikes shit we just ran from.>>98021609Bad situation that.>>98023010A half dozen, but boy does that scream 'holding onto mystery cult imagery as a replacement for personality.'It makes the most sense. I doubt anybody claiming to be Mithras or the alleged actual one would be so petty to have control over a Blood's bar.>>98023100ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO TO MILWAUKEE THAT AREA IS STILL LOUP-BLOOD BATTLEGROUND ZERO AND THE TYRANT PRINCE IS A FUCKING INSUFFERABLE SON OF A BITCH
>>98023698>Seven fled to SaskatchewanThat's going to be an issue. I don't have an official census but I'm willing to wager that's going to double the population of licks there. >Naked, All Blue, Hangs bodies in treesAre they headless? Sounds like you got a bad infestation of Druids. >>98023718I never took you for someone who had trouble following the rules? Decker does the clan proud up there.
>>98023100The latest revision of our plan:- 2 more nights with the Russians, as per tradition.- on the 3rd we go to Richmond's Prince, as per Tradition, then its airport and leave Boomerland for good.We just need to figure out the destination (US, not Europe) and pray the Russians don't have any more nasty surprises for us.Then again they just might...>>98023718>Bad situation that.Looks like we're both oprhans and clanless, basically, but at least the Russian Tzims are still doing the hospitality, affection and "family values" thing with Zoryana. For now.>ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO TO MILWAUKEE THAT AREA IS STILL LOUP-BLOOD BATTLEGROUND ZERO AND THE TYRANT PRINCE IS A FUCKING INSUFFERABLE SON OF A BITCHWhoa. Do you have any recs for a Cammy-controlled US city for a fledgling who just learned to use a rifle and a Koldun girl then?
>>98023698>>98023718What are the current guesses on what your stalker is? I read "blue paint" and it makes me think of woad. Some kind of Celtic, Gaelic or Welsh spook? Or a druid like >>98024079 suggests?>>98024123>Whoa. Do you have any recs for a Cammy-controlled US city for a fledgling who just learned to use a rifle and a Koldun girl then?If you're not opposed to Canada there's always Winnipeg, the more the merrier here.
>>98024079Just one of a group of seven, Saski is quiet but she isn't that quiet.>Are they headless? Sounds like you got a bad infestation of Druids. The eyes were removed along with the 'other organs' for men. >I never took you for someone who had trouble following the rules? Decker does the clan proud up there.I'm fine following local rules. The problem is Decker is a control freak who prioritizes control over everything. Even long-term control. I didn't even make my den in Milwaukee and he eventually threatened me out of state for 'toeing the line.' I didn't even care about that when it happened, I've been pushed out before. Seeing people flee up to Marquette who were loyal to him he kicked was what made me bitter.>>98024123Oh that's a whole rabbit hole. I basically did a whole tour if you look through my posting history here, if you want the specifics. But I'm seasoned and your fresh and that really alters the relation. Makes it hard to make a full recommendation. New Orleans maybe? I have friends down there I can recommend. Same with Vegas, even if my friends are much... Odder. Ravnos. >>98024368The creep is absolutely silent. I don't know anything other than I think I'm related. But not enough to say they're off the clan. And druids- I don't even know. People throw the word around but in actual scholarship I wasn't able to find much beyond the usual paranoia over country Gangrel, and a smattering of new age dorks. And my one source of information I hadn't fully delved into is currently fighting a giant electric spider. According to Nöganyáʼgöh, anyways.
Okay, I have finally figured out how to name myself on this forum.I thought that after a few centuries I would have a decent grasp on the supernatural creatures we share the nights with.I was wrong. The good news is the Tremere chantry is gone. The bad news is several of the Tremere survived. The worse news is that according to them...it was one guy. A figure in a trench coat and fedora, scarf and sunglasses. He just...took apart their wards. None of the survivors got a good look at him or what, exactly, he could do as he apparently started glowing like the sun and every neonate I'm now sheltering rotshreked and ran screaming from him.
>>98025912...how many eyes did he have?
>>98026018As far as I know just the two.
I have engaged in some initial reconnaissance, and I am completely unable to parse the auras I saw. The area was shimerimg with reds and golds, very very vibrant, and the air felt...thin. Like a window covered in spiderweb cracks and flexing but not yet broken. I'll admi my powers of Auspex are not terribly powerful, but still, I've never seen anything even remotely like this.
Tabarin was right, a Malk's part of this. This guy slew a Ventrue lady selling rare exotic vitae to her clan elders out of Washington. This collection is preserved with rituals after the vampires' death. He had no better use for it than pranking people he "embraced" like me, mocking the Sabbat rites with a stolen Book of Nod, flaunting the Masquerade, messing with the local Autarkis. He gotta be in all wanted lists in this state.Panas tasted my blood and cross-checked a notebook, my sire was a 12th generation Schismatic/Ashirra Uyghur lady named Kewser Ilham. Then he asks if I want to "meet my maker." Zoryana warns me about the Malkavians, but lets me choose. We go to the dungeon below, I take the stake off the guy's chest, he sneers: "See? I told you you wouldn't-""Die." I put the stake back inside the Malk and finish the sentence for him. Then as I'm about to frenzy, Zoryana does the Jedi mind trick to make me "stay."Russians say this moron is a birthday gift for Zoryana and our ticket to the Ivory Tower. We take him to Richmond's Prince the night after tomorrow.>>98024079>>98024368>>98024569Girl wants to go to New Orleans.
>>98026351Finally the search is over.>EK actually found a Funny MalkavianI'm sorry it wasn't quite as glorious as you had hoped. The only thing I'll tut about, is the phrase>MoronAs a person who worked his way up thru the ranks with the low clans, Malkavians are many things. Tiring, Vexing, occassionally Dumb or Stupid, but they are never moronic. They do not suffer from a lack of ability or intellect. Thinking that clan is ignorant or harmless will bite you in the ass in spectacular ways. Now it's not exactly first class flying but my man is prepared to extract you from Whereever it is in bumfuck eastern eurasia that you are. That said, to prepare new digs, New Orleans will take a while, Errand choose a city for a short term stay out of the ones we talked about, even New York if you like. I want to make sure that your girl, is shown a proper home, suitable to her needs and upbringing. I have no problem providing it of course, just ask for a few weeks to get everything properly ready. You can tour Net York, Chicago, Boston for a few weeks while I get things worked up, or if one of the smaller cities interested you? New Haven, Hartford, St. Louis? Even in these smaller towns, there's lots to do for a month. If you can post here you can email my man>Qp2135345@Thedollhouse.comAnd he'll work out the details. Meet you a ways outside of the airport, get you in the airport and then in a plane with no issues and then unpacked on the other safely. While QP is a bit eccentric (he's one of those malkavians) his personal derangement leans towards OCD. It makes him an excellent shipper. Blond Blue-Eyed, Fair Skinned, Round Faced. You can't miss him. Just remember, he's very sweet natured, make sure your girl doesn't get uppity with him. He's doing me a favour taking you two on, and on such short notice. We'll get you landed, probably in the North East and then once accommodations are finalized we will get you introduced or at least a letter of introduction.
Another night, another sip of Avdotya's blood, this help we're receiving isn't free...>>98026351>flaunting*floutingTypoes and autocorrect.

Were you embraced as a joke?>Whereever it is in bumfuck eastern eurasia that you are. Uhm.. Eurasia? I drove a van to get here, I never set foot outside the Land of the Free... We will be in Richmond, Virginia, US of A, the night after tomorrow. Wasn't a direct flight from there to New Orleans like 3 hours? Fewer?I already mailed your man just to make sure he's in the right continent...BTW Zoryana is looking at my phone and she got impatient and is acting a bit... "twitchy".Oh right, since it's her birthday, if money is a problem and/or a solution, maybe the Russians could help us with some of the expenses if it means we can get our base of operations in New Orleans running faster? If we absolutely must stop in another city, you mentioned Atlanta, and it's in the middle of the two, I hope it's fine.
>>98027045If I were you, Kid, I'd be careful about taking help from a vamp payinh that little attention to what you're saying.>>98026894>Thedollhouseoh yeah. Tabby here is planning to diab you, EK, and pimp out your woman.
Zoryana was already looking trigger happy from before, she decided to steal my phone, took a good look, said: "Blyat.", had a 'lively conversation' in Russian with Avdotya, and both women just finished yelling at me. They were so angry and scary, I kid you not I thought I was going to die. Then the master of the house came and gave me a hug.Good news is, the Russians are lending us some ghouls and arranging everything with our travel from here to Richmond and then our relocation to New Orleans. This is convenient because I won't have to load and unload the cargo I filled the van with all by myself. Hopefully.I'm so stupid and naive, I feel like I don't deserve her company and I'm afraid that she'll ditch me the next time I mess something up. ..>>98027515Thank you Strip, you're right, and sorry if we couldn't join forces with your pack or sect, but if more Cammies keep playing these games with us, we just might.
>>98027515>oh yeah. Tabby here is planning to diab you, EK, and pimp out your woman. If EK is 13th generation what benefit is there to diablerizing him? He's basically a thin-blood. I know I'm not one to talk being 12th gen, but it is what it is, there's no point in diablerizing me either. If my assumptions are correct the average poster here is like 8th-9th generation and ~200 years old. I thought people diablerized older vampires to get more powerful, not weaker vampires.
>>98027045>If I were you, Kid, I'd be careful about taking help from a vamp payinh that little attention to what you're saying.I might be retarded, sorry If I took things the wrong way but I thought you were in the bumfucks of ukraine/eastern europe. My bad, I did read your posts but obviously I got the wrong idea. Feel free to take or leave the help (all the airport talk was because I was presuming there was going to be a Transoceanic flight, etc), as I am acting at least a little dodgey (on purpose, I promise, not just retarded). Although I think I've already said, why that is in my posting.Feel free to chose whoever, sorry if I was offtangent. I'll tell you the twist once you decide. [/spoilers]>>98027515Yes, everything comes down to peddling flesh in the strippers view. If you do go running to the Sabbat prepare to be reduced to this. I'm sure she has more darling and trustworthy associates the likes of Emoboy and Clittytwister.
Wow, I can't believe Zoryana just said she wants to buy me a new phone! She was so cheerful she couldn't even keep it a secret and make me a surprise!>>98027802No problem, mate. I'm going with the flow, meaning our two-person coterie plus borrowed Russian ghouls are not going with your man, they go straight to New Orleans.I have to say much of what was in your post felt quite sus, which is why I put the emphasis on Zoryana peeking at the phone and getting twitchy since the start, and this was BEFORE Stripper spelled it out in plain English. The reason EK was initially on board is because the education that a young woman receives from her mother, peers and other women is vastly different from your white male nerd's, so his threshold for detecting potential groomers and other frisky behaviors is way higher.Again EK here thinks the reason is getting a new phone is his Regnant wanting to make up after an argument, this doesn't even require a Blood Bond, he's too precious...
>>98027771People commit diablerie for all sorts of reasons, lad, not just to grow more powerful. I've heard it described as the ultimate feeling of euphoria. I could see someone becoming addicted to such a feeling.
>>98027971The twist was going to be that I don't have a solution to the blood bond Except time. Planned on having Kewpie Doll, stake you and separate you from your princess (keeping her safe in the process, one year in the doll house, the idea of a Malkavian keeping a prison of staked vampires in 'mint' condition tickles me). Her being staked for a year would give the blood bond enough time to die and force the character to grow a little. Fun story, good luck with it.
>>98028646Whoa this was not on my bingo card at all.
>>98028225Oh well that's fucking reassuring. I thought I was below the proverbial radar. I'm just as fucked as everyone else.
>>98030098No one's diablerizing anyone else for the taste. No one's diablerizing here period. It was just a voice in the wind.

I'm glad habibi is happy down there with her coterie.People kill each other over skeletons and ghosts tho so just be careful. >>98026894Being moronic would be nice I think. If I were just- Stupid? I think I'd be a lost less stressed out.You don't get to be in control anymore like your head is somewhere is being somewhere else. Hands in your brain. Your hands somewhere else as everything gets more real and less. Every single knot in your mind gets twisted out to eleven and even the best people get shown naked. That's if your are lucky. Sometimes you end up as even less.>>98030098We are full of blood that is filled with evil anubis guys, spider-silk and sin. We were gonna get it bad a lot. Forever. Until the end of time. Maybe after.>>98030191No.:(
>>98023718We're in town indeed! And we've kept our eye on you proceedings from fair distance. Apologies for not coming to you directly, we've had to handle some affairs on behalf of the visitors the caern now gets, and making ourselves known would've harmed that at little benefit to this. Feels quite surreal to be playing envoy in such a regard, but I suppose it's is quite far from the oddest our clan had to do over the years. >>98024569>And my one source of information I hadn't fully delved into is currently fighting a giant electric spider. According to Nöganyáʼgöh, anyways. We've had to send a crow there to try and check in on them, like it's the old days! Quite whimsical. Would not recommend. The bird is also yet to make it back, because birds are unreliable. Or maybe that blasted raven shifter is around again, meddling and cawing perfidiously. Abominable creature. You'd figure it'd be the happiest to see its avian master in good spirits.
>>98030314>I'm glad habibi is happy down there with her coterie.Could you tell us more about Habibi and her associates? - Zoryana
Oleg is back from ridding the plantation of the "Nobles" infesting it with more chest-crushing hugs and backpats for me. As for Zoryana, she got tons of books belonging to her sire, and clothing and jewelry belonging to his wives. Apparently the Russians will keep the estate and all of the servants, this includes Ms. Rafastio, and that's unfortunate, I felt like I could've used her healing arts in a place like Louisiana with those lax gun laws they have.Oleg put a white fur hat that was once Redhead's on the girl, it looks kinda cute for a bunch of dead animals sewn together... at least its vintage. I have no clue how big does a house have to be for her to keep all these things, plus her own. I'm just assuming she's selling most of it.In other news, she's buying the same over $1K phone as me, but I get a damascus steel magnetic cover while she'll have a brown leather case. Also, I discovered Old Clan Tzimisce ladies like to preserve some of their "sacred soil" inside dusting powder boxes they keep inside their handbags, they're so smart.
We've taken a more thorough inventory of the damages now. One of the Tremere neonates told me something interesting. A ward was gone. But while normally broken magic leaves traces like glass shards from a broken bottle, he says this ward was just erased. The only reasonasin he knew it was gone is beacuse he put it up in the first place. Practice.Aside from the dead Tremere...the Serpent's things were taken.I don't get the feeling that was some Setite revenge. What in the world am I dealing with?

The Prince of Richmond is a black lady? Sometimes I wonder if vampiric society is more progressive than the human one.Me and Zoryana went to her office and dumped that strange Malkavian, staked and drained, who turned God knows how many people with that preserved exotic vitae collection. Prince Thachett raised an eyebrow. When we revealed our lineages she raised the other eyebrow. She ordered us to recite the Traditions "in our own words", and we used the Malk's own sins as examples.1. Didn't do his best to prevent the kine from knowing about us.2. Didn't respect multiple Kindred domains.3. Didn't get permission to turn people from "thine Elder."4. Didn't take responsibility for the fledglings he unleashed into the world.5. Didn't introduce himself to the Princes.6. Got a Blood Hunt declared and only "thine Elder" is authorized to declare one and use lethal force. We signed the papers, and Prince Thachett revealed the population of Richmond is too small, it can't support us, we effectively signed our own exile "per second and fifth Traditions.""Yes yes, Your Highness, we'll fly to New Orleans this instant, may we request you call your counterpart in The Big Easy?"Thinking my adult life in the next few nights will consist of setting up the wifi in our haven, unloading the massive luggage, replacing the furniture with things Zoryana likes, finding out she likes the replacements even less in hindsight, shopping for newer furniture still...>>98034096>Missus HalalMaybe I could finally meet someone from my clan...>Prophetic green textDoes this stuff have to do with the Book of Nod? Girl says I should read the Bible first.
>>98037579Book.of Nod is easy. Lemmie break it down for you:Cain didn't kill Abel out of hate or jealosy. Cain killed Abel because after God said "Fuck your plants, I like my sacrifices bloody" Cain only had one thing he loved most in all the world with blood inside it, his baby brother.Only AFTER Cain made his sacrifice to God did everyone freak out and Cain had had enough vauge " Worship.me...No, not THAT way!" Crap so Cain refused to be "forgiven" by the omnipotent asshole who caused this whole mess in the first place did the curses start flying around.Cain wandered in the lands of nod until he met Lilith. She jad food, clothes, warmth. All the things couldn't provide for himself yet. She had these things because she was awakened. As a fellow outcast the first wife of Adam took pity on Cain and awakened him. But Cain awakened himself further than Lilith was willing ro go, past the point she couldn't predict what it woukd do to him. That's where the our "Disicplines" come from.Cain, now able to fend for himself left Lilith and wandered some more. One day he fell in love with the hotest bitch in the land, and he freaked the fuck out over how to make her love him back. Cain met a crone who said she would tell Cain the secret but Cain would need to drink this concocition conctaining the crone's blood. He did and the old bitch pulled the same crsp the next night. And the next. And then then she laughed because she jad just succefully blood bonded the Dark Father. The crone did all sorts of unspeakable things to Cain including making him fuck her till she went cross eyed, but in her arrogance didn't notice how long it was since she last had Cain drink her blood. After a year and a day Vain stabbed thst bitch straight through the heart with a stake of Gopher Wood and left her out for the sun. After that Cain Embraced the Second Generation amd ruled the first city. Where Vampires were worshipped by the mortals they guided and cared for.
>>98037807Cain laid out the ground rules for proper vamp behavior like "be nice to Seth's kids, he was my little brother after all" and "don't go eating each others souls."At this point the third Generation decides they all want to bad little children and eat the forbidden fruit, so they diabed the Second Generation, royally pissed Cain off, and Fucked the firsy city. Oh, th third generation is also when Clans started forming, when bloodlines would have their own strengths and weaknesses.I might be paraphrasing a tad here and there, but the Cammies think the Book of Nod is outright lies or straight up heresey and burn every copy they find, so we kind of have to pass this shit down orally. If you're holding something, and it says Book of Nod on the cover, 90% chance it's a modern.nights things written with guess work and memory and more wrong than anything I just said. That's why some vampires are Noddist Schollars and spend their unlives hunting ancient artifacts in the middle east. Oh, amd some Cammie old fogeys will still want to burn you at the stake if they see you holding that book.
>>98037831Ok that explains why my Regnant thinks I should read the Bible first, but what about the future? What Mèo-Mèo, or something else through her, wrote in green in that post reads like the end times or something.

Plus we do society function on slavery, that is not quite progressive by modern standards, I feel would be right to note.>>98037869>but what about the future? The future is as bright as you make it. There are many horrid eventualities that loom in the distance, and nibble and gnaw at corners of cognition of seers like our HalfSeeingEye, wise Mèo-Mèo and other people most sensitive to things of ethereal nature. I dedicated a huge part of my unlife to studying these eventualities, and working to try and delay them, halt them outright, or prepare for their eventual arrival. None of it makes for an easy path, since apathy, malaise and a get-bent-got-mine attitudes are king, when it comes to such things. None of it is very well-compensated, or terribly beloved by most normal people, since a snooping pair of Nosferatu asking about unpleasant, old stories never leaves a good impression on people. But it is what me and Victoria do, and it is what many Kindred better than me and older than me choose to do. And I am confident that we will be triumphant, in the end. But there's a lot of work between now and then. You could do some of it, if you wish, or you could take the other, entirely reasonable approach, and tend to you and yours, first. Prepare for the future that way. That has value, so long as when the nights get truly dark, you won't pretend there's nobody outside of your shelter, needing to be let in.
OH MY GOD
>>98037888>>98037950The ghouls started unpacking and helping me look for the Book of Nod that belonged to the Malk so we can deliver it to the Prince, Zoryana said he's a Tremere, and apparently there's another book she wants to give him, soon as we find them we go and visit him. This place is huge, I knew this family was loaded but still.
OH SHOOT

To nobody's surprise, the princess hates the furniture she found inside her new castle, and she wants to flay the authors of the modern artworks she found inside. It's personal. The meeting with Prince Calbullarshi (hope I spelled it right) went well. I think. He didn't even look at the Book of Nod, just wanted to know the language, I said it was in English and he threw it in the trash can in the corner of the room. Then he picked up and flipped Zoryana's book and said: "Old Church Slavonic." This put him in a good mood, he placed it under the keyboard and showed us the designated hunting grounds on a map of New Orleans.Zoryana smiled and said: "We of the Old Clan don't just hunt, we like agriculture too. How do you feel about blood dolls in relation to the Masquerade, your Highness? Are they not mortals who know too much?" The Prince was unimpressed: "Mostly tolerated, until they know too much, then you know the rest of the story, same as any other city."My Regnant leaned forward: "What if I took care of some lost sheep before they'd go feral? I have the right gifts of Caine to bring them back into the fold." I don't know what was this feeling I had, but I hated it. The Prince kept his deadpan expression: "Into your fold, you mean. It's a big city and I won't say no to the help you could- you WILL give us. Welcome to New Orleans, Antitribu, fledgling."Just as we were about to leave he's like: "Oh, and you may not like this, but Tradition Number Four will apply between you and the Assamite, too. You wouldn't want that sheep to go feral either, would you?" There was a knowing, smug smile on his face."Yes, Your Highness. Good evening." We got out and she clenched her fist, white knuckles and all that, and she ordered me to shut up until we were back home. We're having a ton of spirits and liquors (never got the difference) delivered, this is cheering her up a little bit.
>>98026150Huh. How abominable.>>98026351>>98037579Avoid getting involved with the Giovanni and the Samedi, from what I hear they're still feuding. Both independents tolerated by the Camarilla. The sect is weak enough they need them if the Sabbat decide to try another crusade. Also to my understanding Halal has gotten a few contacts in the Assamites, she'll be open to sharing, but she is still learning herself. No harm will come to her. Understand? Now, onto the latter point. I have a few copies of the PDF of Nod, the rise of Christianity and Islam definitely coloured the views of traditional lore but a lot of it originates pre-Christ from the Levant. Stripper's account is... Mostly fine. Would make one of the Lilithites scream but that's just sectarian stuff. Generally it is good to acquaint yourself with other important texts if you actually want to understand it. Read the Legend of Gilgamesh for instance. >Does this stuff have to do with the Book of Nod?No. That's just a part of the Cat's bad deal. She spits out prophecies, vague fortunetelling, and a lot of random white noise. Her clan has a bad reputation for the latter beside other mental issues. >>98037950Take care. I'll spread word among our friends you're with us. We've got a very odd coalition. >>98039117From what I can tell having met three very different "Gods" it's all a matter of perspective. And action. The little reading I've done about this particular field is messy and convoluted, filled with wild claims by schizophrenic hunters, people possessed of radically different dispositions, and worse. >>98034096>>98030314Stay in the den tonight if you need it m chraidhe, we don't need you pushing yourself into anything worse and I'll bring home something for you. And I'll do the archiving. It seems like we have a bit of calm before the storm so I've got time.
>>98037579>Maybe I could finally meet someone from my clan...Not to burst your bubble kid, but probably nota great idea. Those assassins are some hardcore religious guys who mostly follow their own rules and heirarchy and they would probably (and maybe not even wrongly) cast you out as a thin blood or abomination. >And that's a bad thing to to be, to a clan of assassins. Now they have reputedly chilled out some in the last decade or two, but I still wouldn't risk it. If anyone asks, claim to be Malkavian (which in a way you are, as your sire was Malkavian) and leave it at that. >>98034096I'm still waiting for some names Meowmeow. Here for your trouble. https://youtu.be/AAZQaYKZMTIFirst hand, I can confirm that Billy wasn't one of us, but he was managed by two of us oddly enough. Bill Aucoin and his Sister Janet Bankowsk were both embraced, oddly enough by different clans. The Ventrue Bill and the Toreador Janet worked together for a few years but split before the 90's. Really the peak of their work. neither have been seen around recently but when his Childe roman ashes on his grave, you sort of have to ask whose ashes they are. >And I'm looking forward to music in the 2030's let's just say.

>>98040630So, how does it work with Missus Halal? Do I just treat her as a NPC or do you RP as her?
>>98038708Thank you for that.We pulled some footage from the security cameras at the Meuseum of Science and History where our mystery man just vanished, and I think you may indeed have the same guy. It's the sunglasses with that Egyptian Eye etched into one of the lenses...I spoke with some of the animals around the MOSH, and the informed me he had seversal scents they had never smelt before. Also, he had a strange energy they could feel more than sence, the oposite of mine, like he had an overwhelming lifeforce. So we can now say it is a person who was prounced dead. Has an abundance of life energy in them, magic stronger than the Tremere, and a fetish for Egyptian mythology and symbolisim. Oh and even after being shot several times by a night watchman he just walked over, facepalmed the guy, disarmed him, broke the gun with bare hands, and then let him go. So supernaturally strong, resilient, and merciful. And my secretary says he definitely opened a gateway through the shroud into the underworld and crossed through it. She says it's the smothest such gateway she's ever seen. I'm in poistion to judge for myself though. But I suppose if he left my city he's not really my problem anymore, though I find it frustrating I cannot provide a satisfactory conclusion to this fiasco. And I'm still curious as to what he even was in the first place.
>>98040781Im in *no position. I fear my territorial nature is making me a bit shakey with anger at this whole situation. How unseemly.
>>98040748Personal rule of thumb as a GM, I avoid directly using player characters once a chronicle is finished. She's an NPC, but if you have any questions I still have all my notes from the Marq chronicle.
>>98040803Yeah I'd prefer it if you shared notes or whatever you have
>>98039649>That's just a part of the Cat's bad deal. She spits out prophecies, vague fortunetelling, and a lot of random white noise. Her clan has a bad reputation for the latter beside other mental issues.Personally, I'm willing to trust Mèo-Mèo's pronouncements a bit more than your average Malkavian. She did accurately predict not only Serpent's demise, but that her killers would all be killed in turn after all.
>>98040810>>98040803Because otherwise I'd just namedrop her as a way for Errand Knight to meet the nearest imam and he'd be the one answering questions about the Banu Haqim and Islam (I read both the Clanbook and I'm halfway through reading State of Grace), so if you could share literally anything please go ahead.Just suppose EK meets her with the intercession of Mèo's DMs, walks to her and asks her banal things about her clan, religion, coterie and New Orleans Camarilla. For the record EK is not prepared to join anything that doesn't include Zoryana directly.
>>98040822See, this is why I pay prophecy no mind. It's not that I don't believe in prophecy itself, it's just that 7 out of every 5 prophecies only make sense in hindsight.
>>98040822Don't remind me. That whole episode hit her like a train.>>98040879Alright so critical information...True Name: Ifrah Yasmin Aawlj / True Age 21 / False Age 20 / Female / Nature; Idealist / Demeanour; Penitent/Clan: Assamite / Generation: 10 / Sire: Unknown (but agreed between me and the player they were 'Darbul of the Dark Hand, a rogue assamite sorcerer from Algeria')Started the chronicle fresh, with just Celerity and Fortitude but ended the campaign with her awakening her Assamite Sorcery, along with High Knowledge in the Occult, Academics, Investigation, and Hadith Studies. Iron Will. High humanity and willpower after experiencing her darkest hour midway through the campaign almost getting a death spiral, and thanks to H0T possibly on the path to Golconda. Physically she's a 5'1 foot tall Somali girl, born-raised-and-died in Chicago, fond of bright clothing and still somewhat rigid in her religious adherence. Supported by her coterie these days for feeding, as in 5e terms she was a bagger. A major part of the chronicle was people being able to get by on the stuff they stole from the bio-products & blood reserve, and she'd keep doing that. After the Chronicle ended she got into contact with some of the more orthodox Banu Haqim in the states who elected to leave her be for the most part, although in New Orleans she managed to ingratiate herself to the small population and would be very able to help EK get into contact with her current network. Specifically in such a way he doesn't get whacked as Halal avoided that when she fled Chicago after being embraced. She probably wouldn't try to get him into Islam unless he was really interested or completely naive. Probably will clock Zoryana's deal and the bond and avoid prodding it so she wouldn't lose contact. You can take it either way and if you need anything else, just ask.
>>98037807>>98037831Man one of the weird parts of being a Kindred is you find out there's all that Cain and Abel old testament shit supposedly going on. Honestly it wasn't what I was expecting when people started talking to me about Kindred history. Its fucking weird how all that God-and-Bible shit become MORE relevant once you get turned into an eternally damned rotting testicle monster. Of course some guys around me say its bullshit, or 'allegory'.Funnily enough despite living around plenty of rednecks and watnot, including some who are Kindred our local group of sewer dwellers don't seem particularly hung up on that mythological shit. Granted I've got enough shit to deal with right now that all this Cain shit doesn't seem too relevant to my unlife. (Now watch me be horribly wrong about this)
>>98039295spirits are any high proof distilled alcohols. Liqueurs are drinks made of "rectified spirits" (non-diluted vodka) and added to sugar and other herbs. Jägermeister and Chartreuse are good examples of liqueurs. Spirits would be rum, vodka, scotch, etc. Also,>old church slavonicI have some texts on koldunic rituals my late tutor never finished translating from such language into either latin or romanian. Be mindful that hurricanes are still a thing, and I probably didn't cause it!>>98040781In my discussions with bleu, she mentioned that mummies were more than just a way of preserving corpses. Never expanded on it more than that. Surely the movie monster isn't a reality. I mean, we are. And werewolves. And the fae. But capital M mummies? Nah, I refuse that reality. So update on the "trueven venture capital industries" ran by "mithras" thing. I had never heard of him before. I've elected to ignore their proposition. Dallas has told me to meet him at celestial park tonight. We'll see how this goes. this is gonna be fun if yall've read the description of it in the v20 companion
>>98041084most of the populace, kindred and kine alike all been disarmed by anglosaxon propaganda, made by men attempting to paint themselves worthy as they defiled old khemri. they weren't of course. but that is apparent. what people call 'mummies' are the vestiges of an ancient civilization that learned how to master death. or so it is said. one of my peers from syria claimed to have encountered such a being. he allegedly slew what appeared to be a mortal man in the time of salah ad din, then thinking he was only a mere mortal. he encountered him a second time when the turks took the region, prompting him to flee in terror. he met the entity a third time when the french were invading egypt. merely in passing, as strangers. this peer was always known for his tales, but i believe that one.
>>98041084>>98041351mummies.FUCKING MUMMIES!?My whole life I have been a Patriot, a warior, a survivalist, an outlaw and, at last, a politician. >>98041928>>98041351I know stones in glass houses and all that, and not being too far unrelated from the actual Count Dracula, but I just refuse to accept some Boris Karloff-tier monster movie is running around stealing egyptian artifacts. Are we CERTAIN there isn't an englishman wrapped in toilet paper doing all this?
>>98041928Just look at the sort who do that sort of thing. You didn't miss much. At the end of the day, we're just the cursed leftovers, monsters trying to rise above their stations. As the entire universe isn't an exercise in our kind being superior in all things, I can only presume something bigger and badder stops them. I find something that frankly completely perplexes me about every 2-3 decades or so. Just accept it and move on. Heathier for your afterlife. As for my boring and mundane life, Sin is continuing to pout about her new station but Lust seems to be thriving. I have to admit that I rather spent a long time ghouling my protege to avoid this sort of protacted educational period but there's something to be said for growth. He still hasn't figured out how I'm managing to keep up with his celerity when all he does is spam these painfully telegraphed attacks, even with the speed increases. >I have to to go into town to buy clothes because my street tramps look rather like street tramps and I still don't trust Sin as far as I can throw her. How do you guys get upscale but not high class clothing. Am I foolish not to have a stylist ghouled? Just the store hours are chapping my undead ass, and the kind of places that will react well to dropping a little cash aren't as street chic as I need. I suppose we can smash and dash, but I'm trying to leave my options open (and my work load low).

>>98042123I mean we're both tzimisce. My sire decided to delve into this, mastering his zulo form and was shunned and exiled from his clan, methuseleh though he was. He was 5th gen, so if shit got serious back there, he was an unwelcome ally. As far as the count himself, my sire was simply a big fan! The collaborated for sometime, my tutor had said he taught Dracula the foundations for his own koldunism as well, so there's our relation I suppose. Their all dead though, and my sire still speaks to me sometimes in the quiet moments I experience in this unlife. >>98042094Okay, speaking of stereotypes, I know the running water thing is bullshit, as is the rice and salt thing, but the mirrors one is true for lasombra. Are there any clans weak to garlic? Honest curiosity here.
Finally had a Q&A w/ Mrs. Halal thanks to Mèo.Q: What's an Assamite?A: "Assamites" is the European name of the Banu Haqim, the Children of Haqim.Q: Who is Haqim?A: It's the current name of the Antediluvian founder of this clan: scholar, hunter, philosopher, judge among his peers.Q: Do you think yourselves superior to other Kindred?A: Haqim was chosen by Qabil, or Caine, above all others of his generation to be their impartial judge, as such he and his Children were never cursed by Caine himself.Q: Are you assassins?A: There are 3 Castes: Warriors, Viziers, Sorcerers. The Warriors earned us this reputation because the other clans were better at dying.Q: Are you diablerists?A: No other clan had a specific blood curse to prevent Diablerie for over 500 years.Q: What cursed you?A: Thaumaturges from clan Tremere.Q: What lifted the curse?A: Our superior Dur-An-Ki magic.Q: Any other signature powers?A: Abed Dume, known by others as Quietus, its Latin name. The foundation gives the silence all castes need to perform their duties, more advanced users make blood itself their weapon.Q: Are the Banu Haqim in the Camarilla?A: Historically, they've been mostly independent, except the Antitribu in the Sabbat. After lifting the curse, we had a schism between Preservationists, reactionaries who wish to kill those who won't return to the Age of Ignorance, and mostly God-fearing Schismatics, who sought refuge in the Camarilla.Q: Are you Muslims?A: As we often hail from West Asia and North Africa, a significant portion of us have been part of the Ummah since their mortal days, but there are Christians and even Jews and pagans among the Banu Haqim.Q: What is the Ashirra?A: A "vampire Ummah" across the clans.Q: Should I convert to Islam?A: You are not required to be a Muslim by either the Banu Haqim or Islam itself. Live in peace under the same God as one of the People of the Book, or join us when you're free, willing, knowing there is no going back, no apostasy.
Shortly after I went back home from my "diplomatic mission", I saw Zoryana in a fairly short dress came back in the Mercedes S-Class driven by our ghoul lady, Lyuba. They were joined by two young women. While my Regnant showed the incredulous girls around, I helped Lyuba set up the room: lights, music, drinks.Zoryana: "You know the rules, no photos or videos in or around the building!"Magpie: "Yes'M."Wren: "...yeah."Z: "Let's break the ice!
