How do I push my players to interact more with each other in character instead of just always talking to NPCs or going solo? Is there a way to reward in group interaction?
Talk with them about it.
>>97982978do something like fire emblem where characters earn bonuses by talking to each other and strenghtening their bonds
Campfire scenes
>>97982978It sounds like they're already doing as much "interaction" as they want. Why isn't that enough?
>>97982978Not everyone who plays rpgs is playing to be an improv actor. You just might have a group of introverts. I don't recall much banter between my players in character.
>>97982978Some tables can even get by without "talking" to NPCs.Can you even imagine that?
>>97982978You have to ask the party questions as a group, suggesting they stay in character for their discussion on how to answer.
Why try to force them to do something they don't want to do?

>>97982978I mean, do you have any notion why they don't talk to one another, just the NPCs? It's kinda hard to give you tips without some notion of the cause or causes.
>>97982978This all depends on how much they like each other. Most groups will naturally coexist well enough with time, but some people just will never feel comfortable.
This thread was bait.
>>97982978Ah storyshitters. Never cease to amuse with your bitching. Maybe if you have to force your players to do something it is an indicator that it does not work naturally.
