Strangest teamup you've seen in your games?

>Strangest teamup you've seen in your games?
Necron, tentacle-faced genestealer and one of those flying bears. Well, it wasn't really my game, because I left in disgust.

I have never seen a single xenos or abhuman character played with an iota of actual personality. Except for one kroot this one time, who was played with the personality of an eldar by a woman who clearly knew nothing about 40k.

Yeah, you're good! I still have the applications from last time. Unless something changed for your schedule or availability, you don't need to send anything further.

Does the Imperium actually control the roughly entire galaxy in a contiguous whole or is the "million worlds" literal and their rule is spread out and scattered in tiny dots all accross the galaxy?
Because if it's the latter then that makes 99% of the galaxy unexplored, which just makes me wonder, for example, why the Tyranid's aren't eating those worlds to feed themselves indefinitely. All that space could also host countless Necron tomb worlds.
>>

>the Tyranid's aren't eating those worlds
Who says they don't?
>>
Questions about Tyranids for a game I'm planning:

1. Is it possible to separate one from the hive mind and if you did could you tame it?
2. Do any of the combat forms have digestive tracts? I know the ships come and absorb all the biomass on a world but do the combat forms have digestive tracts or are they made to go until they die in battle or starve?
3. Have there been recorded instances of different hive fleets attacking each other?
4. They don't use technology so how do they go faster than light and do they go faster than the Imperium whey they do?
>>
>>97998758
Google it negro. This is all shit that appears instantly if you just typed all that into your search bar instead, and requires absolutely no nuance or interpretation from a real human being - something you'll never be.
>>

We are having a small misunderstanding of the cosmos here: Unvisited or uninhabited worlds are not guaranteed, or even likely to have anything of note to them; in fact the reason why worlds may be inhabited or have meaningful contents is generally because they HAVE been discovered and explored.

Tyranids will not be slowed by desolate moons or forsaken planets any more than you might be on a tuesday afternoon looking to have lunch; in the sense that a paltry undeveloped biosphere (even if it is present) is not as rich in biomass as a densely populated planet any more than your jacket pockets in your closet may play host to some errant crumbs of a sandwich rather than the contents of your refrigerator.

Tomb worlds are perhaps one of the only exceptions to this rule in that the Necrotyr's history is so hilariously long no sign of their presence may remain on the surface; but then even so what purpose is there in exploring a world that distinguishes itself in no way from other worlds? Tyranids will see no biomass to consume there, Orks can't see any fight to spoil for and most other factions in the Galaxy may only express interest in knowing another faction is expressing interest.

Put simply; the Imperium and forces of the galaxy aren't disinterested in flipping over rocks to see what's underneath, but the rocks they're going to flip over are the ones they think will have something underneath, and there is no lack of those in known space or even recently lost to charting and knowledge.

how am i supposed to set up an endeavour be it trade or military.
How should it be structured and fleshed out
>>
>>97998775
Okey. But those world's are still reachable?
>>
>>97998758
1.Both possible but not really.
2 Most have some to sustain themselfs in case of prolonged battles.
3 Yes
4 they are slower have no ftl travel but get fast by warping gravity in front of theyr ships. if they had ftl travel everything woulb be fucked in hours.
>>
>>97998786
You don't. Just write an adventure like you would in any other game and fuck the endeavour system.
>>
>>97998758
1. No data available, but probably not and that sounds really gay
2. Tyranids dropped on random worlds have mutated into shit like the catachan devil and some kraken type shit, so some of them must have digestive tracts.
3. Yes.
4. They used to either just warp travel like everyone else, using their spaceship-sized psyker brains, or just move from place to place at sublight speed, because what's the hurry, but that wasn't special snowflakey enough for whatever fanboy twat they hired to write the later codices, so now they use some other stupid shit that isn't worth getting into.

I've always headcannoned that conflicts between hive fleets will become more common as time goes on as tyranid conquests begin to slow down and the hivemind begins to panic, developing a sort of split personality disorder.
I don't like the idea that the tyranids are an infinite force. I like the idea that even the xenomorph perfect organism faction will be screwed over by the universe.

The best headcanon I've ever read about the Tyranids is that every hive fleet is a completely different species from a completely different galaxy, and because they all evolve hyper-fast, they've all hit upon the same most effective traits for a galaxy-eating bug swarm.
>>
>>98000100
They fight each other to get the best traits out of two fleets.

There's plenty of time left! Recruitment for Project ND is open. Play in a RT/OW game for T'au/Drukhari/Kroot/Sslyth characters that mixes tactical espionage action with high-impact underworld violence as you spread corruption and seek out something that can upend the balance of power in the Solaris Expanse. All the information needed is in the following document.

New peeps are always welcome. Be prepared to take things as they come, and learn alongside your characters - you're in a new frontier, and a spirit of adventure is the best thing to have of all.

I have space for four, and there's been two applicants so far. The biggest concern is compatible times, which hasn't been an issue yet. I've had Aus, BR, and EU players before, so I know how hard finding time can be.

Did anyone bother to watch the interview Warhammer + that Cubicle 7 did?
Any interesting information from it?
