What are some good RPGs that deal with Anomalous Zones, like Roadside Picnic, Annihilation, Pacific Drive, Active Matter, etc.

GURPS
>>97997714Tales from the Loop looked meh but might work. Anything post apocalyptic with slight modification works, the party is isolated from outside resources anyway. Goddamn Annihilation was bad.
>>97997714You mean containment fiction?
>>97997714Seems like it'd be hard to make fun since a lot of this stuff is "you die, or you worse than die, or nothing happens now but sike! - you die." And the nature of what makes it interesting in written or film fiction (its illogic and unpredictability), is hard to make fun for players to actually engage with.
>>97997714Delta Green, nigga.>>98001432Skill issue. Unironically.I did one of these for my Call of Cthulhu group about a Color out of Space that bred in and corrupted a town in Imperial Russia. It was fun as fuck. You 100% need the right players for it though. Some people just are too smooth brained to get the most out of an adventure like that.
