There’s the game Kill Team that is played with single units, has different rules but similar movement and shooting and fighting to 40K.
Then there’s Kill Teams made for that game that can also be used in 40K.
Lastly there is also a unit named “Kill Team,” in Death Watch, which is like a black ops faction that takes in space marines from various chapters to work underneath Inquisitors.

So people might say
>Do you want to play Kill Team
When talking about the game, or
>Yeah you can add the Kill Team
When talking about adding one of those Kill Team units to their 40K army. Or…
>Its rules are weird basically you just play all Kill Teams, kinda gay really.
When talking about Death Watch

That's death guard. world eaters must first go to bench press their case with their minis until they come off sweating blood, then they go straight to the locals fresh from hitting a new PR before rolling the dice on turn 1 charge. orks are a diverse group each with their own reasoning and philosophy on how to properly be orky. the most commonly held belief is that you should make preparations to fight, and this includes finding a place to encamp, setting up camp, devising simple plans of attack, building and equipping yourself, hyping up the boys, and then going all out in a big wave and at that point there’s no reason for running away because the greentide is peak orky. individual orks may run away, but those are the exceptions because they may be overwhelmed by everything going on, or they’ve lost faith in their boss and need to figure out what to do next.
blood axes are an exception to this because they use full on military strategies, and will make plans to retreat if the situation calls for it. this philosophy is very similar to your statement “Like there is no point in fighting if victory isn't a possibility?” and that’s because blood axes fight to win and love to outsmart their opponents, so if they sense they’re getting outsmarted they’ll leave to come up with a new plan.

Orkz are not retreating, they are rescheduling the next krump. An Ork retreat is not the same as a humie retreat because what a boy does back on his base or back to another Ork planet is to tell fellow orks about a planet where they got a big sweet fight ahead and this hypes up other boyz and even a warboss if it comes down to that and then the krumping resumes, now bigger and badder than ever.
It's why Armageddon is a planet every Ork dreams to pilgrimate to.

I think they originally wanted to do a lot more than they actually did. Like Primaris was the first phase and Ynnari/Gulliman was the second and they had been laying the groundwork for big upheavals to other factions like Necrons, Tyranids, Orks, and Chaos and then they backed down really suddenly and decided to freeze the new status quo as soon as the game exploded into mega popularity at the end of 8th.

Use small copper wire and make them veins.
Use sprue glue (tamiya airbrush flow improver, any sprue, make desired consistency, use an airbrush vacuum setup or go outside to use)

its kind of hard to tell with any fictional tactics because they’re only as smart as the writers, but I’d say they’re pretty smart.
kommandos are objectively good at sneaking, and both codices and black library books show off that they can easily get the jump on unsuspecting humans, and sabotage numerous gun emplacements with no one the wiser. blood axe generals are also described planning grand strategy and campaigns in the 4th edition codex which does show they are at least capable of making complex plans. sadly, most black library books hardly even differentiate klans let alone include blood axes, but the few that come to mind of them outsmarting humans would be
>Helsreach: a blood axe ork runs away from a space marine and gets chased only for the space marine to get caught in a booby trap set by the ork’s friends
Catachan Devil: an ork kommando spots that a catachan commander has a grudge over him, so he intentionally baits him to leave his squad by exposing himself to the commander, and retreating up some stairs
>when fighting the commander, the ork realizes there are other ork “reinforcements” coming and so intentionally stalls the fight until they arrive.
>Rebel Winter: vostroyans set up alleys for the invading orks to funnel into so they can be mowed down, but some squads get caught by surprise because a few orks “who are sneaking” avoided the alleys and went around.

New magazine every week, comes with a sprue for a unit, usually in 2 parts, so you need 2 magazines to build the unit, and the magazine is always £9.99 so you can get huge discounts depending on how expensive to unit that comes with the magazine is. Issues 89 & 90 build a maulerfiend, which is £54.50 MSRP, but with the magazine you get them for £20.

What's the difference between a codex and core book?
>>
>>98020832
I see, thanks. $80 a month is a good chunk of change but I think I’m going to subscribe just to start padding out my collection.
>>
>>98020863
A codex has everything for your specific army, the core book has all the core rules as well as lore for every faction. You don't need to buy the core book, the core rules are free online on GW's site. Also you don't need to buy a codex when wahapedia (and adblock) exists.
>>
>>98020870
I mean you don't need to subscribe, I just buy the individual magazines that have the units I want. Also this run of magazines ends at the end of this month at issue 90 and I have no idea when or if they're doing another run of them. I'd wait for them to start a new run first.
>>
>>98019754

>>

Start at issue 1? We're at issue 87 now, if you subscribe now, you'll get issues 88, 89, and 90. Issue 1 is looooooong gone. I think you're not understanding how this works. I'd wait until the announce "we're doing issues 91-180" before you subscribe. See what I'm saying?
>>
>>98020898
Also, do you really want miniatures for every single faction in the games? Because that's what you'll get if you subscribe. It's better to just buy the individual magazines that have the units you want for the factions you want.
>>

>>
>>98020941
Yeah that is absolutely not how it works. Issue 1 was printed in 2024, do you think they're restarting production just for you because you've bought a subscription? That's not how any magazine in the world works. If you subscribe now, you'll get next week's magazine along with everyone else.

That said, i do think asymmetrical breasts should be less abundant among slaaneshi daemonettes, not to the level of that sculpt that had actual bare tits out, but just two tits instead of one, y'know.

I do believe Slaneesh's followers see themselves as beautiful in a very avant garde and degenerate type of way, like someone who wears those enormous suits meant to mimic human skin, teeth and arteries on an underground fashion runaway or draws a painting of a woman getting ripped in half and goes "ur just too dumb to understand it and find it hot" and that their beauty standarts are so excessive and over the top they become completely alien to the average person and straight up horrifying, maybe a little Hellraiser-esque fashion sense
It's kinda like how people claim Nurgle is nice and great and represents the circle of life but the only sources we have for that are ramblings from Nurgle's own followers, same goes for Slaneesh being super sexy when most people find her and her followers fucking terrifying

there was this one planet called Ullanor Prime where the emperor and horus killed the biggest ork warboss
2 thousand years later six argueably bigger ork warbosses, collectively called the Beast, arose and almost started sieging Terra
After the death of the Beast, the cogboys stripped the planet of anything useful, used ork tellyporta to slingshot it wherever far away and declared Ullanor Prime destroyed
it gets rediscovered and collonized by imperium at later date, now called Armageddon
somehow it still attracts orks like a magnet and imperium successfully defend it, by now the orks only gather around armageddon for the love of the game just because it's where the 'umies dish out the best fights
and now it's one of those times where Orks are gathering around another Beast-sized warboss
There have also been khornate incursions on the planet, but that feels more like a Grey Knight designated "jobbing" spot (they accomplish what they want with rituals but often sacrifice like half of their current numbers to do it) so they're not too relevant so they keep being grimdark

Oh, well there's been 3, now 4, major conflicts fought over the world in recent years.
First war was an invasion that was led by Angron, all the later ones have been Ork waaaaghs led by Ghaz, which were defended by many notable sapce marine chapters, such as the Salamanders, Blood angels, Ultramarines, and Black Templar, as well as the famous steel legion imperial guardsmen.
The 3rd war for Armageddon was also a global campaign conducted by GW back in 2000, which allowed players to have some input to the outcome of the war.
It's also a place where many notable characters have had important moments, such as Captain Tycho's fall to the black rage and later worthy death, Maphiston overcoming the Black Rage, Commissar Yarrick Coming out of retirement to take control and defend his hive and later the planet which would lead to his bitter rivalry with Ghazkull, Chaplain Grimaldus getting his holy architecture that his servitors carry around, and many more.

OK, so the going scalper price for the red terror is £60-80, and £60 for the new cadian team. The box itself is £100. You are making 20-40% of the box and that's presuming you sell. It also involves the hasstle of paying for postage to send both separately.

I remember when I went to school, there was a strict no sweets/chocolate/unhealthy stuff policy. When I went to the poundstore to buy mutlt-packs of stuff and sell them off separately in the toilets during break/lunch, I made a better margin of return.

I am building up a Shadowsword (mainly due to my unrelenting, seething hatred of Knight armies). However, I am not sure it will be good enough to make the calab since it will be a 'basic' colour scheme and not be very interesting beyond being a big tank

He's so autistic he spent a myriad learning to master the chain sword, and then abandoned it and took up the Klingon Bat'leth as a joke and then still manages to style on noobs with a trash tier weapon.

Let's talk exodites. If you're starting a dino heeavy project, i feel like craftworlders are not the way to go, since the proxy dinosaurs could reasonably only work as tanks and jetbikes, but what faction would work better to base your conversions on? Dark Eldar? Tau? hell, maybe even necrons, they've got some bestial units all things considered.

I honestly thought primaris pay pigs made it impossible for 40k products with space marines in the box to ever drop below a set baseline of interest. Have you noticed a lack of hype for this one? and if not what do you thinks burned people out on 40k?
