>>98020432Lancer game Tuesday, my VtM game in a coma, a Shadowdark campaign that I'm not even sure I'll be a part of that's also never happening, and a 5e game that the DM doesn't want to run that needs to have its going-away session but said session is on permanent hiatus without a word from anyone in the discordI miss my friends and I feel like they must be getting tired of me but I don't know what to do, because either I push a bit harder to do things and that might alienate them, or I give them space and they might grow distant from me and realize they're better off without meLosing games felt almost relieving in my earlier 20s because I'd get into too much commitment and I always could stand to pare down to a smaller number of concurrent campaigns, but now I feel almost afraid that the lack of games is eroding the glue holding the irl friend group together because we seem to have no other hobbies in common now and there're too many group fractures for us to all hang out together anyway. It's like we all hit a certain age so long after high school and only now are realizing most of us don't really enjoy being around most of the rest of usI desperately cling to the notion that I'm generally a pretty paranoid-schizoid person who can't recognize that people actually like me but this feels very different and I haven't felt so alone in a very long time

Just did a trial run of Deadlands with SWADE and the group had some fun - especially after they all managed to Ace their damage 3x in a single go.Thinking we're gonna do Monster of the Week type stuff to alleviate how busy everyone can get. Just gonna full-face rip-off Hunt: Showdown for a setting.
