Question for the thread:I know a lot of people are nostalgic for old editions and many say that the golden age of 40k was around 3rd or 4th and they don't like 10th much even if they do still play it. Let's say you were going to get 3rd or 4th remade into a modern supported edition. Would you really still want blast templates back, or would it be better to bring back a lot of the other old rules but have blasts replaced by some newer blast mechanic?Do you think that missing blast templates is just nostalgia? Were they ever really any good for the game? Serious question, not trolling or baiting. I know a lot of old players who say all it did was force everyone to autistically space out all their models by the full 2", and cause arguments over the scatter dice and junk like that. I want to hear everyone's thoughts on the matter from all sides.
