Is there a name for board games that are still possible and realistic to do physically, but because of diferent reasons is just more practical to do digitally?
>>
>>98046232
all of them
>>
>>98046232
"Eurogames", I think.
>>
>>98046232
Clunky.
Like a lot of the pokemon RPGs
Also thank you for the brown sugar

>>98046232
Alright, let’s see Paul Allen’s black anime girl. Preferably with elf ears.
>>
First of all, cute niggerin is cute.

Second, what are we talking about? Too long to host most of the time? Too complex?
>>
>>98046279
There's a cute Frieren out there, but I don't have the pics on hand.

Most machine builder games.
A lot of hex & chit wargames.
4X games.
Most ameritrash games.
... shit >>98046253 is probably right.

>>98046263
Some are very simple, varies a lot. Compare Ticket to Ride with Coal Barron.

Pipslop aka Eurogames.

I never tried that lucid dreaming bullshit, but today I will, in hopes I can dream about being a wall street investment banker comparing black anime chicks with my friends.

>Look at that subtle mixed racial features.
>The tasteful thiccness of that ass.
>Oh my god, she even has elf ears...

I bet the campaign for north africa could be beaten in like... 128 hours if it was a video game. Have all the boring bookkeeping be done by ai

If you mean stuff like Slay the Spire and Armello, then they are called "digital board games", a stupid name for sure but many names are stupid.

>>98047463
>bookkeeping be done by ai
Why bring in the hallucination machine when scripts and an excel spreadsheet is more than enough? Unless you wanted to say "done by the computer" in which case yeah, i'd agree.
>>
>>98046232
If a game has long setup and upkeep compared to player actions, a digital version is better. Unfortunately something automating the tedium aspects to focus on player turn agency usually highlights how bad the game is. It's almost like the busy work masks the flaws.

As a prime example, Gloomhaven is a fucking chore to play and the digital version dramatically improves the game. Unfortunately it also highlights how fundamentally flawed the game is because it highlights just how much the game is nothing but a race against the clock and how hilariously imbalanced the game is plus how it's still a swingy count of a game despite removing dice.
>>
>>98046232
For me that is Sentinels of the Multiverse. The physical version can be a fucking chore due to how fiddly it is and how you need to keep track of over 9000 things every player's turn and phase. The digital edition just flows.

Shadowrun
>>
>>98046232
yeah, they are called board games. you dont play board games because they are practical.
>>
>>98046232
Any TTRPG that requires lots of bookkeeping. Pendragon, GURPS if you have enough modules in use, Delta Green, Phoenix Command I think it's called.

Any TTRPG that requires lots of math to determine modifiers. Things like Dragon Ball Universe where you have 5 trillion different modifiers to keep track of, BESM tri-stat (if you would ever subject yourself to the horrors of that system, do not) because of how it maths its stats, the systems I mentioned above, something like Shadowrun where you're rolling 30 or more d6s in a pool.

But really, >>98046253 has a point. Going digital:
>Removes the need to set things up or clean things up
>Allows for play anywhere in the world at any time
>Automates even the most simple of procedures to increase the speed of and smooth the flow of gameplay
>Makes bookkeeping easier because you can use a folder or drive or document or spreadsheet or all of the above

Mind you, for something simple like monopoly or clue, you're probably better off with physical play if you're playing with friends locally. The downside to digital is that all the time investment is front-loaded; you're going to have to set up everything, but once you do it's faster and easier to play the game in the future.
>>
>>98047449
Any social deduction game. I'm surprised they don't have an American Psycho one.
>>98047844
Stacey Dash's younger, prettier sister.
>>
>>98046263
Ameritrash have WAY more moving parts and various elements, while set-up takes forever and clean-up is even longer.
>>
>>98046232
Heard some complex games being called "spreadsheets", but I think it's more an "all choices are too balanced" than actually using spreadsheets to keep track.

>>
>>98046232
Monopoly, no one can flip the board, the bank doesn't run out of money, and you can't punch someone for taking the piece you wanted to play.

>>98050414
>You aren't black unless you look like a literal gorilla
>>
>>98050414

Blacks in the USA are all mixed anyway.
>>
>>98050414
This is /pol/ cope but it's like arguing with a flat earther who calls everything a fish eye lens, and he doesn't deserve to look at black women anyway if he's gonna be autistic and homosexual
