Why don't most players understand the difference between cover and concealment?
>>
>>98048430
I know the difference, but I don't care to embody it in my games.
>>
>>98048430
Probably because the person who tried to explain it to them used a fucking awful graphic like yours.

Some combination of limited experience with
>firearms
>wargames
>going outside
>reading the rule book
>reading military history
>thinking about shit at all, including the words themselves
>>98048470
lol this too
Would help to add guns but someone else can do that.

>>98048430
I never had a player that didnt understand the difference.

Why do brainless faggots think these sorts of threads are remotely interesting or clever?
>>
>>98048430
My players understand it well, because its covered by the rules of the game I play in detail. Tactical Shooting has several pages on the subject.

Because video games and movies rarely include realistic depictions of bullets penetrating things like furniture, doors, interior walls, etc. and most anons have never witnessed a real gunfight.

Also, for the purpose of wargaming, most systems are abstracted to the extent that it doesn't matter. The effects of cover/concealment become a simple saving roll that combines the effects of obstructed visibility and the likelihood of the bullet being physically stopped, so you might get a 5+ save from being in bushes or a 3+ save from being in a bunker, etc.

Well, excuse me for neither living in a favela nor attending my secondary education in the US of A.

>Why [non-existing problem]?
So you can spam out the board with meaningless threads pretending to be about games
