asking again so it isn't hidden at the end of the thread:i want to make a deck that is the biggest headache to play with almost no real gameplan. kenrith will be the commander. why is it a headache? i want every spell to be modal, MDFC, omen, planeswalker, or a split card (without fuse). creatures are allowed as long as they have a modal ETB or activated ability that sacrifices (so you have to commit to the ability/can only choose it once). no, it won't be a good deck. that is not the point.what are the best cards that fit this criteria?

I have a friend who plays eldrazi in our playgroup and we all play bracket 3.Its usually not an issue because we know how his deck works and his biggest weakness is he takes a while to play his set-up payoffs and ramp and shit and hes vulnerable in the meantime and we just beat him with creatures in the early game with zero resistance. Usually when he wins its only because there was an early board wipe that the resident blue fag (me) didnt counter or someone else got scary and we got detoured from hitting our punching bag. Note that this only works because hes playing full on timmy-mode big mana eldrazi with all the titans. An eldrazi deck made up of mostly the little eldrazi with only a few supplimentary big annihilator guys is a totally different beast and much more challenging to fight imo.Eldrazi is only oppressive because attacking someone who has a weak board and is doing "nothing" is rude and anathema to most retard edh timmies and eldrazi is in the perfect position to take advantage of this.

>>98058462Your deck feels pulled in a lot of different directions. Chainer doesn't actually reduce costs or reanimate, you have to pay full price (and a card) to cast a creature from your graveyard. For this reason he doesn't work great with large reanimation targets like traditional reanimator would. Chainer works best as a graveyard toobox/value/aristocrats deck with recurable small creatures and sac outlets. That's not to say you can't build a deck that focuses more on the haste granting, which imo is the more fun part of the card.I'd start by cutting the expensive stuff at 5+ mana value since your curve is so high and only a few of your reanimation spells actually let you cheat on cost.You also have discard synergies, but Chainer isn't really a discard commander. You only get one activation per turn, and get no value from it if you're not casting a creature from your graveyard. (which again costs mana) For this reason Madness/Mayhem are not good fits, and the discard triggers from Badgersaur start to feel bad when it's one at a time.I had a Chainer deck myself for a few years and finally switched over to Cruelclaw since he does a better job with the "play big guys" reanimator theme I wanted.

You get fucked over by RNG in drawing cards still, but because there's four players it diffuses it somewhat as you have a chance to catch up without just getting blasted instantly. There isn't a stupid questions general so I'm sorry to ask you guys, but does this trigger multiple times if I am attacking different players in the same combat? I couldn't find a concrete ruling on it which makes me think its supposed to be obvious. I know it only triggers once on a single player unless you doublestrike, but idk how it works in multiplayer games
