>saves table top gaming from bankruptcy in your path
I would have preferred it went bankrupt. Fuck 5E, shit game with shit players.
I know nothing about this but /tg/ tells me it's bad so I'm going with that
How much money did it cost to think of the mechanics you had to add to D&D because it didn't have them?
Is the cartoon goodI don't want to listen to years worth of a podcast
>>98055394So anon, tell me the last time a TTG going bankrupt affected your game.
>>98055400unironically this. /tg/ is the most trusted name in news (for anons)
>>98055394And who are these losers suppressed to be?
>>98055394
I feel like d&d was already on an uptick before them
Hack Frauds. There wasn't even a single mass rape or genocide in their stupid campaigns. Why are we letting normies into our violent mercenary graverobbers simulations? Ive been playing since 2nd and they corpo shills have no idea how you are suppose to play.
>>98055694>simulations
>>98055713When I DM we roll for how many women in the village attacked by orcs were raped and need abortion magic from the party cleric.
>>98055734>abortion magichomebrew fag
>>98055694>violent mercenary graverobbers simulations?I want to be in this MFer's campaign.
>>98055747>HomebrewInflict minor wounds on the fetus dumbass.
>>98055768>touch spell
>>98055818>he's never fisted a vaginaCome back when your 2-bit processor has had time to think this through.
>>98055694True the hobby has gone down hill in the last 10 years. Too many normies and casuals started playing. Now we have female players who want to use it as a "romantacy" simulator and get offended or triggered when confronted by an age of high adventure.
>>98055768Personally prefer channeling negative energy. It's more efficient at scale.
>>98056079>offended or triggered when confronted by an age of high adventure. This is why I exclusively have sex with troons.
>>98055394The hobby can't go bankrupt. Companies can, the hobby can't. People could stop making new games altogether now, and everyone into the hobby now could keep playing for the rest of their lives regardless.
>>98055694>>98056079Yes, you are underage and retard, nogames.
>>98056414You fell for a troll idiot. I'm the troll that posted it.
>>98056455>I was only pretending to be retarded.
>>98055394>turns beholders gayAt what price, though.......
>>98056508Nah, he was pretending to be BASED.
>>98055394What's wrong with bankruptcy?
>>98060917Yes, he is retarded like you.
>>98055394Nah 5e did that for better or worse. They’re just properly using the popularity for their benefit. It is hard to tell what is a trend chaser and what is a genuine newcomer to a popular thing that genuinely likes it these days.
All the Critical Role hate reminds me of when /x/ used to freak out about Blair Witch this and Blair Witch that, and BLAIR WITCH RUINED HORROR and BLAIR WITCH RUINED /x/, and BLAIR WITCH TOUCHED MY SPECIAL AREA, wah wah wah.Sorry, but no one is going to think you're a man of wealth and taste just because you hate popular thing. It just proves you're a fucking contrarian hipster with no opinions of your own, you just hate popular thing and are no better than the kool aid drinkers who love popular thing.
>>98062322>All the Critical Role hate reminds me of when /x/ used to freak out about Blair Witch this and Blair Witch that, and BLAIR WITCH RUINED HORROR and BLAIR WITCH RUINED /x/, and BLAIR WITCH TOUCHED MY SPECIAL AREA, wah wah wah.I've been remembering the days of when everyone hated 4e and how it was the worst thing ever and it was a sign of the end times. I remember the same about all the bloom and gloom complaints about 360/ps3 era games. Or /co/ talking about how Total Dram Island is the worst show ever.I usually look back at how quaint things looked, but it's really all the same, it felt like it was the most important issue in the world back then and now people talk in the same way about newer things. Every era has people talking about how xyz are the worst shit ever and destroying everything and you'll have to see the same conversation about it daily, until everyone grows up and then the next group comes in and does the same for the next new thing.
>>98062322Popular things can also be terrible.Meaning that the hate train is justified.I’m not sure if the critical role is genuinely bad.To me it isn’t really my thing but I understand that there are people who would enjoy it.And not in the same way people would enjoy bad movies.I think a lot of hate for popular things is more so directed towards the rather zealous fans that like it far too much.
