Did I done goof? I’m not a novice painter, but I’m nowhere near being an expert. I normally do my models in small batches, like 1-5 at a time. I have 40 wyches and 3 succubi to paint, so I was like “fuck it, I’m gonna base and layer the whole thing then go back later and correct all the mistakes. So now I have 40 wyches that have a generic look (I haven’t done fine detail painting, I don’t do that till the end), but they’re really sloppy and I almost feel like it’s going to the the same amount, if not more work to go and correct all of the mistakes.Does anyone here ever paint large blocks of units? >>98165365the thing a lot of europeans who have never been to the US, canada or australia dont quite get the scope of until they get there is just how big the physical landmasses are. even the closest towns have a 10-20 minute drive on a 90km/hr highwayim from michigan, which is a fairly medium sized state with a very middle of the road population density, its not as large or sparse as the western states, not as small and dense as the eastern states, just completely average. here it is next to your entire country. now realize the US has 50 of these damn things. so the US is mostly a handful of large cities where everything is (most states have between 3-10 of these) and then small towns which are connected to the cities by long stretches of fast highway. depending on how remote your state is, it may be hours to a proper city, or it may only be a few minutes in denser areas like the east coast, the north east coast in particular is closer to what you'd expect in europe as far as layout.
