hello, I'm new here, never really played MTG in any form but me and my friends, who are slightly more experienced than me would like to get into playing commander, is it a good idea for a complete noob to start here? are there precomp decks you would advise us to get?

Time Twister is $7.00. Most cards are 1¢ but if you buy precons from the shop where you buy tickets they cost the same as paper.You can also redeem the current non-foil non UB set for a paper set. This is the only official way to get a complete set of magic cards sent to you (you would buy the complete set from a BOT and do the redemption)All that bullshit aside it’s got all the magic formats and players from all over the world. Few players look at a deck with what will be fun for the table.It's also why people don't look at what cards are good early but a dead draw later, and why most people run too little removal--it's not fun to play like combos are. Deckbuilding is a very difficult skill, and it's much easier to ignore the different pillars (balanced, fun to run, fun to fight, fits a theme, etc.) in favor of just focusing on one.
