The real way to have fun in 40k is to bring lists that wreck the current meta to competitive events. The current 10th edish meta is defiler and Ctan spam, so make your list 80% anti-tank. Anyone ever try using that nail art stamping shit for putting stuff on IG-sized infantry? Having one unlimited use stamping plate that I can use with any color sounds much better than collecting a ton of those transfer sheets. I've never used a transfer sheet, and I figure it would be better to jump straight to learning how to do the stamping shit if it's just a better way of doing little icons and lettering.

Eldar are cool as shit but their lore gets to a point where collecting them feels like collecting crumbling books with how close all of them seem to death. Come on GW, I want to buy your plastic, can you at least give them a valid endgame that isn't just they die? Maybe just make spirit stones renewable locally for the really powerful craftworlds? Otherwise if I'm homebrewing a craftworld the only reasonable win condition I can give them in their lore is "and then they survived until life in the galaxy ended and chaos was no longer a problem". I like my guys, I don't want them to be doomed to mega hell no matter what unless a generous dark eldar comes along and regrows them. At least the Tau don't have their souls bound to mega hell.

Some say it is the remains of the cult of the Sump mother. A group who worship the sump as a deity. Now their bodies fused into a single horrific entity it stalks the under hive searching for food in any form. This is one of my favourite illustrations that i did for Necromunda. It was a fun opportunity to feature some of the environment of the under hive and show the dark claustrophobia that the game takes place in.
