Clone war(S!) implies more than one. I'd have multiple armies of clones if different people. Boba didn't need to be a special clone son for the gene source. It makes a goofy bounty hunter from the OT too important to the setting to never comment on it.

Have Anakin kill some adult Jedi. Maybe give some nobodies a bigger role in the movies so when they get offed by Anakin it's more powerful.

I know I'm hardly the first person to point out that the prequels tell a story too big for three movies, but isn't it kind of crazy that Grievous wasn't very explicitly set up as an analogue for Anakin and made into a kind of archenemy for him? They literally had a Vaderesque figure right there but Lucas just wanted him to be some cowardly Bond villain instead.

Eh, I don't know. The movies use purple as more of a political color that could swing either way as political power in intrinsically neutral, rather than just a transitory color from light to dark. Palpatine's antechamber is purple, as the office of chancellor is neutral, but being put towards bad ends. In the same way, Mace has a purple lightsaber, partly because Sam Jackson wanted dat purple saber, but he's also the most politically involved Jedi, working towards a good end in the the bad frame work of the stagnant Jedi. Anakin's goals, though human and understandable, are just about himself.

Not really? They're both cyborgs and have respiratory problems, but that's about it. I've never gotten the hate around Grievous being a cunning coward. Just because Tartakovsky turned him into the terminator doesn't mean that should be how it is. The big issue is that, as you mention, there isn't enough time to show him being cunning, so all you're left with is the coward.

I would have liked to see more aliens in the GAR. You get this a little bit with the Wookies and the Pau'ans in some background shots, but making it clear that it was locals and clones fighting together would have been nice. You can also get some on the ground reaction to Order 66. A group of clones and regular soldiers advancing, when to the shock of the locals, the Clones stop short and gun down the Jedi who is leading them could help add to the horror.

To go back to my point on Grievous not getting enough screen time, I would have also liked it if in the opening of Revenge of the Sith, we saw how Grievous likes to kill Jedi. You can have Anakin and Obi Wan get a communique about how Shaak Ti and some Clones have pursued Grievous on to his ship, and you can have Obi Wan and Anakin trying to link up with her, while cutting between Grevious hunting her and the clones. You can see him cutting off the groups in the corridor, using traps to pick of the clones, leading them into ambushes to be overwhelmed by Droids, all the while watching how they fight, and stalking the rescue party just out of sight like a predator, before at last striking when Shaak Ti is out of men and fatigued, killing her just in time for Obi Wan and Anakin to see it, and taking her lightsaber, forcing Anakin and Obi Wan to sneak their way to the Chancellor. You can establish some stakes, establish why and how Grievous is a threat, and get some action in. Though this would probably fuck with the pacing to an ungodly degree.

To all of them, Obi-Wan seems like such a stand out. He was a stickler for the rules (not the the extent of Windu ofc but still), conservative in his ideas and with a calm demeanor in general. To the point that he's considered THE ideal Jedi (after Luke I guess).

I prefer SAGA since it has more content (you can even see them figuring things out as the books release. God damn, Mandalorian Neo Crusader armour is OP and only limited by a lack of official price or way to get outside of stripping dead KOTOR mandos) and is more 'focused' as a SW setting, but Revised is fine if you or your party is used to 3.5e.
