Matchup engine went bananas, causing counter matches, so I had to modify landfall deck a little.It's rigged so that you get to play the same general deck until you prove that you can beat it, then it gives you another one. This forces constant deck manipulation, but it's somewhat predictable.So I'd fill my starting deck with 4x counter mana spells like Disdainful Stroke and Flashfreeze against Jeskike. Annul and Essence Scatter against white lifelink and black Anex deck. 4x Hydra against Sunderflock since it doesn't bounce, etc... Sadly it wasn't satifying winning against Jeskikes, since they practically vanished from my play que as soon as I demolished them a few times.Fat Elf was late addition, but did manage to decide a few matches.

Just don't go dumping rare and mythics wildcards into this deck, it's not worth it in the long run. Elves are subpar even when played with the best possible cards available.You can add Unholy Annex, it's staple of all black based decks. A few changelings will fit as well. Firdoch Core is played a lot with Annex lately. All changelings benefit from elves synergies and count for Annexe's demon requirement as well. Then you can slowly transform your deck into a top green/black or mono black deck. Or you add Badgers and go into a kind of green landfall.Check for decks around Serpet Society when Marvel drops. It may give Poison Counters decks a life. Virulent Silencer is already available, so maybe something opens on that front. Thought, with everyone packing board removal and various non target removal spell, it'll be a long shot.
