We have a friend who we've been playing with for a year and hanging out with outside of commander for about the same amount of time who, despite my better judgement, I decided to befriend even though he's a nigger. He is pretty cool otherwise and isn't the brightest, and recently something has totally changed with his playing pattern. He genuinely cannot handle anything being removed or countered even if he is the highest threat or archenemy. If you remove anything of his, he then refuses to play the game to win and instead laser focuses you instead of attempting to build his board back up or actually win the game and then extends it into the next game. It's like you have someone sitting at the table who's constantly holding a gun to their own head and making sure you will also get collateraled by him if you upset him in any way. Its lead to impossible play patterns in our group that make the game severely not fun.We mostly play bracket 3 (at about as high as bracket 3 can go in terms of power) and are very interested in having many many pieces of interaction. Myself and the other two guys don't get salty about removal or counters because we understand how the game is played, so it's definitely a one sided thing. Has anyone experienced anything like this, and if so, how did you resolve it? It gets to the point where if the guy has the rug pulled out from under him when he thinks he's gonna win, he will intentionally sabotage everyone, and then scoop and go home when there's still time for 2-3 more games.He is out friend, so I don't wanna just tell him to stop playing with us, but there's gotta be a better way to explain to him that he's ruining a great time by playing like a retarded gorilla chimp every single time because he's emotionally sensitive about having his game plan disrupted. I was considering Progenitus as my Commander (and ramping to Progenitus and winning with Commander Damage would be my win-con) or playing Angus Mackenzie as my Commander for an extra fog, but then I would need some sort of win-con in the 99. I'm not something like Labman or Second Sun would cut it.I guess fogs work for defending Planeswalkers as well, so I could try to get a bunch of strong ultimates, but then I I feel like I would have to go deep into proliferation as well.

Currently theory crafting a deck around this card. Ofc it’ll be chaos with a burn wincon but mono red spell slinger is something I’ve never tried to build before. Also I am aware that Neera, Wild Mage is technically better but I already have an Izzet spell slinger deck in Muddle, the Ever-Changing and at least two people at my lgs have Neera decks.
