>>98276369>TQI traded an STC shard for a pile of nebulous benefits and a discount Ark Mechanicus with the local forge world, but that was less proper trade and more political wheedling.
Not the fat bastard for the OP again...
>>98276595He's a fat gentleman and a hero
>>98276462Where be the ark mechanicus stats?
>>98277123Only ones I know are in mars needs women
Is there a list of found/undiscovered STCs? Is there someone in the Imperium keeping track of what is still lost and what has been found?
>>98277123I say 'discount' because it was a heavy cruiser filled to the gills with archaeotech, but you can convert one pretty simply from BFG. I have a battleships brew you can crib from to get in the general ballpark, fill a Retribution with double Hecutor broadsides and a trio of Godsbanes dorsal, port, and starboard, nova in the front, upgrades as mentioned in picrel. Throw on component bonuses from Stars of Inequity to taste.Augmented Weapon Relays are essentially a BQ Targeting Matrix with bonus lance hits, you can rule that as giving them another hit if they crit.https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vQbikrffIf2fBS0pIM7Ho5B8KbUCSY6ofvAP3Qussz3Y4FGU1TiT3tplib68pSGnesr9VPdhRDVEC6B/pub

only war gm anon person heresession 3 went great! the boys went into a ruined city, made 'friends' with some scavs, and shot, burned, and blew up mutants who had crawled out of their holesone player nearly died when a Big Mutant with a heavy stubber rolled a 2 and everyone learned the power of suppressing fire!all of the maps were made by me and really helped because I know what everything is and it's all sized/themed for the game instead of being some random BS i found onlinei only had 2 days to work on it all, but now i can relax and do work for next session later. bought space marine 2 for 16 bucks so ill certainly be busy
>>98277601Hell yeah dude, congrats on the game going well.
>>98277601How big do you make your maps tile wise?
>>98276369Anyone know if gretchin still get a runtherd in 11th?
>>98277791Shit wrong thread, my bad RPG anons
>>98277783it depends, but my biggest map is about 150 squares wide, with each square 1m. that said, most of it is just set dressing with the long streets there just for the perspective.most of the interiors are 20-40 squares wide and even that feels a little big.i use roll20 so I can make a map bigger or smaller, but it depends on how much i want range to matter i suppose
>>98277839Thanks for the advice. I've been struggling for a bit trying to get maps ready.
>>98277886my tip is to take dungeonscrawl (which you can access with roll20), make your layout, remove the grid lines and dots, export as image and load it up in paint.net or whatever your favored image editing software isdelete the interior color fill, add another layer and on this layer put a texture image some kind. Free dungeon layout with minimal effort! the image is an example of what i've doneall you need to do after that is populate the image with various props. i used garry's mod and the many 40k prop addons to isolate and create various pngs for all sorts of things. i've also used garry's mod to whole sale create the maps using various building blocks and available addons and textures. i cannot overstate how useful it is to have a free (or just 10 dollars single purchase) piece of software where you have so much control.i would be willing to package up all the props i've created if you need it, i assume catbox links work
>>98277135>Mars needs women has a ship background package that just gives a cruiser a dorsal slotIs this a real thing? That seems crazy. Did I miss some lore this is drawn from?
>>98278014sounds like faggy nucanon, just disregard it
>>98277939These are all really cool ideas, thanks anon.
Where do I go to find out about Tau cuisine? Given that they evolved from bovine animals I wondering if they are vegetarians or vegans.
>>98278416Rice and other grains, noodles, bread, fruits and vegetables. Mass scale agriculture leans towards vegetarianism, processed into efficient provisions that can be shipped out efficiently. The Fire Caste came from nomadic hunters so they'll probably eat meat if it's available though.
>>98278014In BFG, Mechanicus cruisers and light cruisers all got a 60cm strength-1 lance weapon. However, they did not have access to Battlecruisers.>>98278031Sounds like faggy whining, just disregard it.
>>98278468"nu-canon" has become a ruined term that means "thing I don't like," just like faggot and incel.
>>98278443wait I thought all tau were herbivores? Did the fire caste hunt for meat or just hides and stuff?
>>98278416Look at that fucking face on the right. Tell me you don't want that in your retinue for your Rogue Trader.
>>98283031I don't. I am a puritan rogue trader and I make profit in the name of the emperor.
How are Rouge Traders taxed in current lore?
>>98283427They aren't; their duties are regularly extending beyond the frontiers of the Imperium and they have no obligations beyond the duties of their Writ or Letter of Marque; that is to settle outposts in new worlds and enrich the imperium by mercantile.Their Writ or Letter of Marque obliges them to assist other Imperial apparatus on demand; but they are largely exempt from any taxation or fees beyond what is expected of any citizen and likely they are exempt even from some of them.
Does anyone have a good reference list of all the drugs available in the FFG games? We've got an astropath from a planet that has something of a drug problem, to put it mildly, and I'd like for this to mean that the retinue will have an easier time acquiring a particular strain of drugSpook seems like the straightforward option but I'd like to know all the options I could work with, preferably without digging through every book looking for stuff
>>98286412And by reference list I mean "with page references"

I’ve been running a dark Hersey campaign that’s been taking place on an ice world for a while now, and would like to finish the arc with a bang. I was thinking a multi session battle where the party and their allies are fighting for their lives against a dark Eldar assault on a fortified manor. Any advice or ideas? Something along the lines of the battle between the wild geese vs millennium from hellsing is what I’m going for.
>>98286513Thanks, this is immensely helpful
>>98286516Combat happens on a frozen lake and ice begins to crack.
>>98286516>>98286608This.Have an area of the ice world be undergoing a thaw so that the ice is starting to crack and break.
>>98286608I do plan for them to fight on a frozen lake against ice skating wycths who jump in out of their venom’ along with hellions and revers as the ice cracks below. But that will be one of the fights leading up the final battle. The general idea I have in mind is:Cabin in the woods fight vs hemoculi coven and mandrakes.Frozen pond fight vs wycths and some flyers. Fight at village or docks against kabalites and scourges.Final fight is them defending mansion against the forces of all three.
>>98283031>foid in the party wants to play a cute 5'2 socially retarded well meaning Tau getting manipulated into serving us>insists on making them male
>>98276369>Have you ever done any actual trading of goods in a game that was not abstracted with a commerce or other test?My last team of players got a full trading minigame, exchanging goods for local profit factor, and buying other goods. My current team will get to try it out eventually as well. For now, they were busy setting up the first of many Black Markets to purchase new technologies, and they just got introduced to the Klevyx, alien arthropods whose very religion is based on trading and commerce. But soon, when things fully open up, the economics of an entire galaxy will spread before them.>>98283427This actually reminds me, my players are going to learn about "taxes" on realized vs unrealized capital gains in the near future...
