There's a whole galaxy out there but you're expected to be in Autocthonia 90% of the time, and there's nothing to really get involved with when you do go outside. Inside Autochthonia it's all highly calcified. Yes, there's cool starfighter action going on, but it's like if Star Wars started with the Rebel Alliance having the Death Star and everyone kind of hung out there. There's a lot of explosions and sometimes the heroes have to fight off Sith infiltrators before they can sabotage the hyperdrive or whatever, but there's not movie to it.>Burn LegendBasically a different game and good mechanics taken independently, but you only play Burn Legend with it rather than it being flexible enough to play Exalted too, and the setting itself is barebones to the extreme. Funnily, I think Burn Legend would be significantly better it defaulted to the main Exalted setting. You could get by with only a few changes, mostly by chalking artifacts/manses up to actual technological advancements and the products of laborious adventuring that died with the First Age and Shogunate, rather than the First Age being a direct product of Exalted prowess/charms. It's not like the main Exalted setting is built with the idea that Exalted can actually use their craft/social charms in mind so it doesn't take much changing.>ModernGood building towards great. It makes so few mistakes that it's hard to criticize or offer anything constructive. Well thought out mechanics, a setting that's put together and knows what it's doing, and it's managed to do it while still letting each Exalt feel like you're playing the real thing.>Heaven's ReachFine. It's like Gunstar Autochthonia in many ways, but with a setting you are encouraged to go out and have fun in rather than stay away from at all costs.

There, she is Jane Doe, who woke up from a seven year coma with amnesia and started beating the shit out of people, starting by stopping a presidential assassination and continuing by beating the crap out of a conga line of people who think she should've stayed in bed. Her writeup says she's followed by shadows that seem to whisper to her, but it's kind of up in the air whether she's mugen, tennin, yamajin, or whatever else. Hello I popped in at the end of last thread saying I was joining a 3e campaign for the first time. I'm playing a dawn solar who will be focused on the punching side of brawl, I have a few questionsIt looks like if I go brawl for offense I should probably go with resistance for my primary defense, right? Brawl looks like a glass cannon charm tree with little defense.Is Brawl worth making my supernal? I assume so since some of these essence 5 charms seem pretty fucking sick.Is dex still largely the best physical stat to invest into?Its been a long time since I touched exalted so I'm just trying to get my bearings.

Modern in Shards is arranged as a sort of two-parter between the world and the conspiracies behind it, so that arrangement makes more sense to me than the biggest picture being unattributed.
