Last night, I dreamed I was a vampire.I had a coterie with something between 3-6 other members (the exact number kept changing).The dream started with us bargaining with a monstrously obese vampire. I think we were after information. After leaving said kindred's place, we decided we were going to destroy her and steal her shit. I wasn't a fighter (the only discipline I'm 100% sure I had was Auspex), but somehow I was the one who did most of the job killing her (I had a bladed weapon with minor magical power, so that helped). We were pressed for time, so we were all frantically searching her haven for some good loot when we heard people approaching. I told two guys from our coterie to go close all the blinds and lock the doors, and they just stood there, like a bunch of idiots. I think they were thin-bloods. At that exact time I found a secret stash with dozens (maybe even more than a hundred) of those 1 oz gold coins. There were also what looked like grenades attached to the stash, but they looked weird, like props made to look like grenades in order to keep people out. My Auspex sense was not tingling.I woke up as I considered taking the grenades with me and forcing some humans to investigate it.Thanks for reading my blog.

1/2Bakeslave here. So my "vacation" kinda sucked. They sent us into the forest to locate and extract a family of kinfolk while another first team went in to distract/kill the local Fianna. The penny pinching assholes who formatted the teams never bothered to give our team any silver bullets. Anyway... On the second day, I accidently blew our cover when I went into the forest to take a piss and the perfume scent of my urine alerted a crow which flew off and started making kitten noises. About 2 hours later we get jumped by a werewolf. Our lack of silver bullets meant we didnt really stand a chance. The other fomori got bisected while the two humans on our squad got ripped apart like wet paper. I tried to run but got a whole arm plunged through my chest where my heart should have been. I probably would have perished were it not for the fact some tzimisce thought it would be funny to rearrange my organs during my punishment. I managed to survive by playing opossum and blacking out.

Once they were satisfied, they released me with the warning that if another mission goes tits up, they were going to send me to Section-C.

In the Hunter game previous to it, we came kind of close in one session.We were dealing with a werewolf, specifically a Predator King. He was a weirdo even by Pure standards. He didn't have a pack, weirded everyone else out, and lived like a troglodyte. Despite that, he wasn't an in your face ragetard type. He was stealthy, and used a bow he made with his own two hands to get by the "honor nothing of human make" rule. We started hunting him because he almost wiped out a fur trapper's camp, and we knew the sole survivor. It was quite the game of cat and mouse, it can be pretty hard to hit a stealthy guy with defense against firearms, especially when everyone's working with single shot muzzle-loaders (the game was set in 1816). He fled into the hills and we had to burn him out by destroying every potential hiding place. When we finally cornered him it was short but brutal. Our silver musketballs brought him down right before his desperation charge (he had to shift up for the extra health dots or die) reached our lines.

Every option, even those two, is pretty bad and will likely run you into trouble eventually. Vampires will try to embrace or ghoul you, if a Hunter is protecting you you're already in danger, a Wraith protecting you is more of a danger than a help, if a Garou is protecting you you're on Pentex's radar, a Changeling will only stick around if you're a drama magnet, etc. Not the best setting for a supernatural bodyguard unless you make one yourself.

Something about posting from my IP range has being “temporarily” blocked. The only option it leaves me is to verify my email or try again later (it’s been weeks already). Today I’ve been able to post a bit on my phone, but once I connected to my PC then I cannot anymore. And can’t do so on my phone now. Now I’m trying with only my data, but I’m almost maxed out. I verified my email on pc a week or two ago but it seems like nothing changed.

Starting the ritual to bind a powerful wyrm-avatar would have packs of garou descend upon you from the sheer metaphysical weight of the absolute fucking bullshit you are attempting. The presence of such an avatar alone will alert quite literally everyone within hundreds of miles to come investigate, which is a separate step from actually binding it and having it perform work for you.

I also imagine the nerves, due to the danger of the encounter, would probably necessitate checks for you to keep the act consistent instead of just a single seduction attempt. Hunterbros, what's one piece of gear that you think is overrated? For me, it's automatic firearms. Suppression works on very few monsters, automatic fire is very wasteful if you need to shoot with special bullets (silver or iron for example), and the fringe benefits are usually not worth the heat they bring from law enforcement. I much prefer long-range, high-powered rifles or good old shotguns when it comes to long guns.
Can vampires use blood to heal in the middle of being damaged?Like, if someone got just enough damage successes to kill you, would you be able to survive if you could spend enough blood points? Or are you out of luck because all the damage applies at once and you go from not having damage to heal to being too dead to try to heal?
