Armored vehicle edition >Cyberpunk 2020 vs. Cyberpunk RED?Cyberpunk 2020 is the second edition of the Cyberpunk TTRPG by R. Talsorian Games, set in a (then) future inspired by film noir and the dark science fiction films and books of the late 20th century. It focuses on simulationist gameplay and lethal near-future combat.Cyberpunk RED is the latest edition of the Cyberpunk TTRPG, set after the devastating Fourth Corporate War. It focuses on more balanced, streamlined gameplay and is currently supported by R. >>98356131>armored vehicle I need suggestions of model vehicles that would fit in cyberpunk settings. From police to military contractors to nomad to civilian rides.STL suggestions welcome too.
>Shadowrun excised from the OP:(
>>98356450Shadowrun hasn't been in the last four atleast Anon. >>98356131Solo of fortune 45 really need a vehicle segment to feel like a real sequel to Maximum metal.
are there any good system-agnostic cyberpunk-themed adventures (preferably free)?
I'm new to Dm'ing RED, how do you guys do battlemaps? i try drawing them but it feels like a mess
>>98356948:(
>>98357169Genuinely the battlemap subreddit had good stuff the last time I checked. I grabbed these choice cuts years ago for a game that fell through, maybe you'll have better luck with them than Ihttps://litter.catbox.moe/pokqmisim0dil1iq.zip
For those responding to good Spyke's comment in the previous thread >>98353259 I can add some context. It is a sidebar from Listen Up You Primitive Screwheads (1994); the general GM guide for Cyberpunk that I can also recommend for non-GMs as it is full of interesting things. Some of it is quality some of it is tosh.Spyke is not referring to player character behaviour, he is referring to player behaviour. He is concerned that RPGs like Cyberpunk and Traveller will fall victim to the Satanic Panic like DND did, and wants the hobby purged of "pseuds" who give the rest of sophisticated Gamers a bad name. What with their violent roleplay and affection for contemporary ultraviolence like First Blood and Robocop and their sequels. Those of a younger persuasion might not know this was the year after the original Doom was released on the home operating system DOS, and this attitude of the time was a part of the late 90s and 00s fear that video gamers were being trained to be violent psychopaths from such murderer simulators as Quake, Fallout, Half Life, and Golden Eye 007. The decade ending with that most heinous of whore killing training programs: GTA. Yes indeed. GTA 1.If you roleplay dramatically and not violently you are making Spyke happy by avoiding this dark future. He advocated for "theatre kids" in a way. He is a funny guy. The book is good.
>>98357946Also you've been fucking your players wrong all this time
>>98357946Spyke sounds like a proto-redditor and should have his face peeled off.
>>98357946The dude is calling others "pseuds" while dictating how others should play the game based on some perceived moral panic. He's clutching his pearls hard.Who is this guy anyway?
