I want to start playing Isengard in MESBG but their Battlehost box confuses me. Do I really need 20 Warriors and 24 Scouts? Is Isengard such a model-hungry faction? Their army lists are rather odd as well. Army of the White Hand having no access to Uruk-Hai Captains is quite puzzling.
>>98383821You need a lot of pikemen if you want a phalanx since they can fight 3 deep. You definitely won't need 24 scouts unless maybe you're doing a Lurtz themed army. And even then you probably only want a couple of the archers for variety and sitting on objectives. The "Oops, all legendary legions!" shit really needs to go. Anyways, welcome to MESBG. It's a fun game with a great player base.

I'm looking at picking up the war party and the sha'dar hunters at the very least.I'm thinking on getting some bits from sellers online rather than the full upgrade sprue. Which mini (if any) are worth converting from the two boxes?
