>>98402417no one working at WOTC is chud safe

>>98402399>TQNot in EDH, but did an EoE draft. I had used pic related in the first two games. I made a point of leaving one plains free while not having it in my hand, which scared opposing player into not swinging. Then I drew it, swung in, and used it to get the kill.
>TQThe only time I can really say I bluffed is when I miscounted the amount of damage on by board and said I could kill two of my opponents with noncombat damage and my commander and it caused one of them to scoop.
You want to draw cards don't you?
>>98402399>tqProbably casting picrel on the big board threat when he attacked, almost killing the two other players. Next turn he felt safe, attacked me confidently and I Ephemerated an Elementalist to do it again, giving me a free swing and win. Cheeky boros win.
>saw Mothman precon at a target about week ago>thought it was weird they were still selling it but don't think about it too much>the fallout precons are selling for like 250 sealed onlineShould I buy those when I see them? Why are they selling that high?

>>98402399>tqat this point i dont bluff, i just pokerface the entire game
>>98402459it's all bullshit
This deck is way more explosive than I thought it'd be. Probably a bit predatory at my LGS with the average player being so averse to interaction. But maybe that's what they need to learn to eat their veggies and play removal.Highlight of the deck was probably Fury Storm on a Hit the Motherlode into Call Forth the Tempest. Even though it lost most games later in the night on the principle of becoming the threat first and therefore getting killed first, it always felt threatening.
This mans wife has quickly become my favorite commander. She is now my wife.
>>98402494I don't think Cid's going to like that...

>>98402527I actually had the option to order the less hideous one on manapool last wee. But I saw that art and knew that I had to have her. I did the same with my Jon Irenicus deck.
>>98402399I never bluff anything. I'm completely honest all the time including pointing out targets on my own field for removal. I also play almost exclusively within my turn.
>>98402527Looks like a Berserk character
What are the chances of a new sea monster commander (like Kiora/Thassios) in Nauctis?

>>98402698>>98402738It's not good but it is boring. "Better have it" is poor gameplay.

>>98402727Here is mine. Reins of Power has saved me from 3 boardwipes over the course of 10 games. I'm working on trimming some of the 6+CMC cards that I never want to cast, like imposter syndrome and Shadow heart. They both seem like more of a "win more" type deal and Shadowhear is good, but I rarly need to draw that many cards. Etali threatens to win by himself, especilly with all the legandary clones I run. https://archidekt.com/decks/24465407/edea_is_cute

>>98402744>"better have it" is poor gameplay>when you have 3 opponentsif anything such gameplay is more fit for edh and even then are you really that salty to deny players their steamrolling sol ring draw even though you'd be the first to say this is a "casual" format?
>>98402476I checked and they're both chudmaxxedpilled. Rest assured both are good and that your purchase will support their chud lifestyle. Except for etched foils. Fuck that blurry ass shit. One of the worst foiling effects by wizards.

>>98402781>etched foil badBut Anon,, I cant sit down with a 2 bucks commander that doesnt even shine, people will think im poor.
>>98402758You're just signaling to your opponents that they have to remove your commander every single time he's out or you run the risk of untapping with him and immediately winning. It's a poor play pattern by every definition. Either they kill your commander and your deck does nothing, or they don't and you end the game.
If the next UB set is Blizzard/Diablo themed will we finally get a Skeleton tribal commander?

>>98402957Now that I actually look up the prices the etched foil printing is actually more expensive at around $8-10. Normal foil is about $2 and the MoM alt art version in foil is $5 (halo foil for $30-40 and the serialized for significantly more). The more you know.

>>98404163"[Do something] at the beginning of [step or phase]" is a delayed triggered ability for purposes of The Master (C.R. 603.7).The Master's last ability can apply to delayed triggered abilities you control even if an activated ability generated them, and it can apply to those abilities because it's not limited to abilities of specific kinds of objects (e.g., "Triggered abilities of permanents you control") (C.R. 603.2e).
>>98404163where is the ambiguity here? even if they copied the "warped-ness" the text written on the tokens themselves would prevent their being exiled. they stay on the board.

>>98404932I mean it looks fun. The problem is just that you do have a few cards in the deck that make it so players are constantly incentivized to kill your commander. Having cute options like Sphinx Ambassador clashes when the possibility of "I simply win the game" exist.
>>98404968The last time they made a card with this level of variance was Stitch In Time, after which R&D realized they can't print cards like that ever again because of how frustrating they are.Might fit in Pokemon TCG though.
If i put this on my Commander, it goes to a guy, and he swings for 21 against somebody else, is it still commander damage from me even if I'm not the one piloting it?
>>98405000good question anon. let's check the rules.>704.6c In a Commander game, a player who’s been dealt 21 or more combat damage by the same commander over the course of the game loses the game. See rule 903, “Commander.”That's still your commander, even though you aren't controlling it, so combat damage that it deals to a player is still "combat damage by the same commander." So I'd say yes, it counts.I fucking love Assault Suit

>>98405848They added green and red cards to the GC list arbitrarily. >>98406311It's not an argument. Prime Time lands and you get two lands unless someone kills it. Sphinx lands and you get two cards unless someone kills it, then you get two more, then you get two more. If Sphinx survives a full turn cycle you have gotten 6 cards. If Titan survives, you get the four best lands in your deck. You a retard who sucks old boomer cock and takes it up the ass harder than Gay Bolos.

Primeval Titan just ramps you or grabs some retarded combo that only matters ff you are in B4.

I genuinely don't understand how people don't see the irony in making these two statements directly adjacent to each other.>UB sucks. Magic's original story is better.>Magic's story was never good, but that's because WotC never invested in it properlyThis IP had 30 years to develop. >>98409362what colors? this is my favorite >>98409409this is a great suggestion too for white. if in black you also get Opposition Agent which is on the "game changer" list, and in paper its kind of awkward to be manhandling other peoples cards. if youre on MTGO though its a great option and a much better experience to play but yeah I went through a phase of that wanting to destroy green land tutor ramping. theres also stuff like Narset's Reversal where you can return the spell but get to copy it so YOU get to ramp the lands. Just make sure the search target is valid, ie "a basic land" instead of a Forest and you have no forests in there or even duals with basic types like Breeding Pool. theres also cards to be able to steal spells in other ways but they're usually not super mana efficient like Knowledge Exploitation. Mind's Dilation a similar idea (and guaranteed to make your opponents, cope seethe and feel the need to dilate)
I was thinking on building my next Commander and I wanted something Voltron style. How's this for commander? Knights with free equipments
>>98409592She's fine. She was a brawl precon commander.
>>98409209three cards that can fight it meanwhile blue has so many a deck's expected to have like 4+ that do more than just silver bullet that one thing
>>98409592As long as you build her as Voltron and not knight tribal you'll be fine
this deck seems decent but I could never play it in person
