>>98513988>TQI hecking love Jitte and put it in most decks with a commander that costs 4 or less.
>>98513988why the fuck does this card (Buster Sword) keeps increasing in price? right now it's at a 1.50$ increase DAILY, it's at fucking 215$ in TCG right fucking know when it was 120$ a month ago, WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON ?
>>98513972>>98513977>>98513983>>98513991gavin is fine with people being killed early via voltron/infect, besides such strategies are true b2 and UB is full of these character archetypes that wotc wants to sell to youhttps://www.twitch.tv/videos/2597691530?t=00h54m28s
>>98514000checked and keked enjoy your new house in FIVE (5) years and all your student debts paid
>>98514000As UB it's reserve listed. If they announce another FF set (which they 100% will at some point, maybe FF legends or some other bullshit subtitle) it'll probably go down in preparation for the increase in supply. But most likely it'll be different artwork.
>>98514001doesn't stop the guy at the store turning red and seething and yelling
>>98514018Can you tell me what does reserved listed means?
>>98514021Just get Gavin to explain it to the guy. You can summon him to your exact location by speaking the words "I cast Wildfire".
>>98513988>TQ: Equipment that you use in general in your decks that are nowhere close to being voltron? This bad boy is in my Shiko Narset list just to untap lands. The protection is a nice little bonus.
>>98514023The reserved list, is a list of cards that WotC will never reprint.Cards from licensed product, do to the licenses can not be reprinted freely. They are RL cards/
>>98514037Ohh, thank you, I didn't know that was a thing.
>>98514028>wildfireI do personally hate the fact that wildfire and destructive force were caught in the crosshairs, but alas, life goes on
>>98514023In the traditional sense the list they won't reprint. The price going up is speculation that UB are their own version of it because of licensing issues. They have reprinted UB cards but it is extremely rare. More generic cards have a better chance of being reprinted but shit like buster sword, cloud, vivi, all of these cards won't get a reprint unless we have another FF set. They might do another UW set like they did with streetfighter but they haven't done one since 2023 as far as I'm aware. A lifetime in the brains of mtg investors.
>>98514000>>98514018>>98514037>>98514051I hope this doesn't fuck up the prices for the Final Fantasy 30 Booster Pack Box as I have being eyeing one for days now to play Draft format with my friends...
>>98514051They did, but it was Arena only. They didn't want to make an entire set that is just spiderman but isn't gay, and watch it outsell spiderman.
>>98514055Don't worry. This very valuable buster sword is only in collector boosters.
>>98514064That's good! Thank you
>>98514021I've played against enough retards who just play Armageddon and don't protect their own lands. No thanks. You can waste your own time.
>>98514000Why do you keep obsessing over this? Are you fishing for compliments for owning a card you're treating like a stock investment? Why don't you start announcing the hourly price changes while you're at it.
>>98514058>ArenaGo back to /v/
>>98513988There's barely ever a reason to cut it if you're running a commander who likes to attack

>>98514079you already complained 4 times before we get it
>>98514104Yes, if it was up to me they would be moved to /vg/ where they belong.
>>98514104Yes.Its a moot point anyway since all that was being said is the factual statement that they made a UW set for spiderman in arena.
>>98514104it is very funny that arena is only on /tg/ while chess is on /vg/ too though
>chess finally got esports saudi money>mtg still can't>because mtg is just too woke for the oil princeslet that sink in anons
>>98514137I'd rather not have saudis involved in mtg.
>>98514137I don't think we should be championing taking saudi blood money and magic is doing just fin without it.

>>98514101its mr Fece-ables>TQshadow spear goes in almost everything, Voltron or not. of course I don't own a single real one because the TMNT one is a little too pricey for that bad of art. but I have one copy of this one from Chang and I can't beliebe GōtC allowed this art in the 2020'salso doesn't everyone still put Lightning Greaves and/or Swiftfoot Boots in their decks?
>>98514166fucking nice man, really loving the art, congrats! was that from the pre release?

>>98514192The saudis, that you brought up. I'm writing you off as a retard now. Don't (you) me.
>>98514001is tifa any good? she looks like she can inflict some serious pain if you build around her decently but it might be a noob trap (i am a noob so I cannot tell)
>TQ, con't>>98514184also thinking of one of my few non-Voltron decks, its tribal white/black Knights I actually ordered a couple copies of this S-word so its in a couple decks? why?well with Squall Seed Mercenary he gets double strike for attacking alone (despite this its not actually a Voltron deck but making tokens of Knight. Exemplar and the exalting knights with Mirrormind Crown) you create more defender knights that are tapped and attacking. but the trigger for double strike already occurred. NEAT HUHthen I have it in TOSKI. why does the GOATED HORSE RIDING squirrel legend want this? well each creature that does combat damage will trigger another instance of card draw. so this is also a card draw engineit seems like a very Timmy and Voltron oriented thing but its pretty useful. plus you get some more defenders on the board.

>>98514189thanks brotendo. my local target had one collector booster yesterday and I know a lot of the staff there and I asked them to hold on to it for me if they could. they did, and I got it and opened it and that was the last card in the pack. also had dancing from dark til dawn full art and a couple other 10 dollar cards but I'm a pretty happy camper with it. I did 2 pre-releases and bought a single collector and regular booster. between what I bought & won I opened like maybe 16 packs total and most was trash except for the Arkenstone (regular) the other collector pack (marked up to 58.99) had a foil book cover Smaug Wicked Wormthe most excited non book pulls I got though were some Troop of Ponies for commander >>98514193im not really a gambler but I could feel it in my balls this pack had the Gleaming Boiiii in it. saved me 100 bucks, plus I got a couple other half decent cards

>>98514167I was randomly browsing through cards and thought of grabbing a short bow. I didnt know what I would put it in, but it seemed useful. I bought a Serra's Blessing instead I used to like to run sword of vengeance in everything but its too unwieldy most of the time

>>98514369>modern MTG>oldzoomers out
>>98514374That's what LARPers claim hence why I put "old" in quotation marks. For me, old MtG is when your type 2 deck could run 1 copy of Morphling as its only creature and every matchup was a slog because it was infinitely easier to make resources than to spend them on winning the game.
anime gookslop does not belong in the game. keep the game aesthetics regular instead of zomg lol my waifu cartoon cringe

>>98514118Chess is literally a videogame cause everyone on both sides uses engines.

>>98514397But really arena isnt on /vg/ because it's a lot chuddier than /tg/ that's all there is to it
>>98514401it's just a wheel for 1 what could go wrong

>>98514532Oh shit I got that card foil from a Final Fantasy Gift Bundle, is it really that good?
>>98514510I did include that! Honestly one could look at it as a sort of evasion too really since it's a huge deterrent to chump blocks.
>>98514426congrats, very sick. great deal and a great pull. love that smaug. these are my best pulls from my 2 collectors. Smaug, Eagle Lord & the commander Gandalf were from a collector I got last week at a pre-release and the Gleaming was from last night's from Tar-zhaypretty good luck, not trying to press my luck any more I'm cashed out I think
>>98514510The fact the equipment deals the damage makes this a bad card
>>98514401yes this should be commander legal. just with errata that the first card gets removed from the game (exiled) instead of added to antewhat black lotus this is the GOAT
>>98514367huh?>>98514278>>>98514278thats is better for sure but yeah lots of flavor in the Serra card. might not even keep it in there. I like cards with the pre-keywords. like I use Weatherlight's Fervor that says "creatures you control are unaffected by summoning sickness" even though theres better haste enchantments
>>98514287>>98514308not sure how pic is related but yeah mid 2014 (so m15) is when it died. the new horrible card frame so theres no flavor border at all. I have gone out of my way to make sure almost every version of every card, or at least lands are either the original frame or the 2003 frame (old modern frame). or future sight, future sight is bad as fuck now.

>>98514566It's one of those cards that doesn't seem great in theory but really shines irl.
>TQI run this in Anim Pakal. I think over all its underrated in the treasure token factory that is commander as a whole.
>>98514709I'm going to use it on my Sephiroth Blue/Black deck thank you so much for showing it.
>>98514697>This card is broken. You don't know that because it never saw any play, did you just assume xir playability?! It should be given a fair shake we are a just society here.Similarly cards that don't require dexterity should also be unbanned, a lot of them are actually very fun
>>98514718>You don't know thatI know how powerful wheel of fortune is, and this only costs 1 mana while that one costs 3.
>>98514566Its a lot more versatile than it would appear at first blush.Target your enemies creatures to remove nonsense and force it to go another way; give it to opponents that are flagging to give them a scary blocker. Use it to get a 4/2 over on something or as your own blocker. Its recursion gives you an option for recasting it; overall it's solid.
>>98514730i disagree but at least you find necro-impotence fair so we can leave it at that
>>98514689>notingDoesn't matter. Anything. Notes app works fine.>backgroundThere are none with actual synergy. If you want to do impulse draw cast from exile, you could use Passionate Archeologist. If you want to be more defensive you can use Noble Heritage. If you want big stompy, maybe some +1/+1 counter synergy, use Master Chef.
>>98514718You know I think the real thing that made Unfinity so soulless, more than the stickers or the move to black border, was not having the art break the frame much. The skelly dude's frustrated tapping on the type box adds a lot of character here.
>>98514689Just print out a list and put like a d6 on each one you used or just cross them out if you want to keep printing pages.

>Guy argues with me for 5 minutes that, while I can fetch this with sunforger, I can't cast any of its modes. What are some of the worst either misunderstanding of rules or just flat out weaseling shitbag attempts at angle shooting you've had happen?
>>98514872A guy who tried to convince me ward was symmetrical and I also had to pay ward costs to target my own creatures.
>>98514872Yeah you can’t pay any of the sprees modes off of that tutor because in order to pay spree costs you need to be casting it from hand, graveyard or exile while paying its mana cost. The problem is that it’s paying the main spell for free, not paying its additional costs, so it’s still going to go onto the stack but as a 1 cost spell that does nothing and fissles. You really gotta look into how modal spells work instead of arguing for 5 minutes after you attempted to free cast literally nothing.
>>98514891Why would you be unable to pay the spree costs? You can pay kicker costs off free casts.
Does using Wishing Well to cast something out of grave trigger valley floodcaller?
>>98514893Ah I get it now then. Yeah you can cast the initial spell for free but you still need sources to pay the additional costs, I didn’t know that was the argument. I just assumed you thought you were getting the whole thing for free.
>>98514891>in order to pay spree costs you need to be casting it from hand>702.172a Spree is a static ability found on some modal spells (see rule 700.2) that applies while the spell on the stack. Spree means “Choose one or more modes. As an additional cost to cast this spell, pay the costs associated with those modes.”You're still casting the base spell, for free.
>>98514891This is incorrect. You can't pay alternative costs (e.g. overloading cyclonic rift) because freecasting is itself an alternative cost, but you can pay additional costs (e.g. kicker), and in some cases you must (e.g. Big Score)
>>98514872I had a guy completely convinced double strike would effect a fight effect. He argued "it's fighting, so of course double strike effects it". He backed down after everyone else at the table clearly agreed it didn't at all work like that but he clearly looked like he thought he was right even after.
>>98514902I've had that argument too when an etali flipped someone's Winds of Abandon.

This card would be fantastic in one of my decks but Warhammer doesn't fit the theme, and Necrons especially don't, so I was thinking of getting or making an alter. >>98515338flash seems good so you can use the bounce thing as protection on top of doubling potetial etbs. altho none of these are frogs, I like the 3 mana vivien, new radagast and high fae trickster
>>98515349thanks anon. that vivien seems interesting, I run Valley Floodcaller for a similar approach + chance to have crazy output with Clement bounces/mana tapping. Wouldn't hurt to look at one of these to have flash for creatures too I suppose
>>98514872This is long time ago but my sister convinced me that pic related stopped me from using spells like terror or disenchant because "destroying something" is "damage", that "damage to you" ment targeting anything of hers or herself and that "coming into play" ment at the start of her turn. She basically used it to stop all interactions against her, her creatures and permanents. I got so frustrated at being unable to play the game I went full blue nigger on her made a counterspell deck. Needless to say she claimed counterspells were also "damage".
>>98514872My buddy built several decks around Icy Manipulator and the like on the basis that he could react to you tapping lands for mana by tapping those lands, preventing you from getting mana. >>98516107Ive not pulled the trigger on precon purchase yet, but yes it will be one of the EoE decks and/or tarkir (mardu/azban)
>>98514979My brother has a really fun Meren deck and it inspired me to try and build one of my own
So I've got my pod bitching at each other, and I need the geniuses on this mongolian basket weaving forum to settle the debate.>Friend X buys the Miku precon and upgrades it to what he claims is B3 (3GC, no high speed 2 card combos, relies on big stompy shit to win)>Friend Y, me, and another friend play>halfway through the game, X casts the Miku Vorinclex>Y immediately calls X out, says Vorinclex is MLD and thus B4>X claims this is not the case, since the "D" means destruction>I chime in just to mention the "D" includes denial>X says denial is total lockout like Blood Moon, not a "tax" like Vorinclex>he compares Vorinclex to something like Rhystic or Tithe, where it slows/cripples other players instead of outright locking them out>also mentions Vorinclex is no longer a GC, thus proving his pointI'm inclined to think Vorinclex is MLD, but he's not on the level of Blood Moon. Is that like soft/stax MLD or something then? Did we ever get an official statement on this? All I heard was they removed him from the GC list, but they didn't comment about his MLD status.ON THE OTHER HAND, him being off the GC list is kinda confusing. If he's still B4 material, why would it even matter? That kinda implies he's B3 safe now.
>>98516189>Did we ever get an official statement on this?i love how people just say this admitting they don't read gavin's articles>yes he did give an official definition you fuck and vorinclex isn't mld
>>98514051They'll eventually release an entire set of UW variants as a mystery booster or SLD or special set and everyone relying on this will be completely BTFO. Have fun playing hot potato, I guess.
>>98516198Guess I'm blind then. I'll go dig up the argument and give it to these two bozos so they can stop yelling. Is there a reason moxfield and other sites still call Vorinclex MLD then?
>>98516189Vorinclex is considered MLD but absolutely should not be. Just like Blood Moon or Winter Moon. MLD is armageddon. Literally just stop building every deck with the gameplan of windmill slamming bombs and Vorinclex isn't nearly as problematic. Just swords him and lose a land for one turn like a fucking man.
>>98516201>Is there a reason moxfield and other sites still call Vorinclex MLD then?they are morons, simple ascompare them to edhpowerlevel.com that actually knows what gavin said and gives out their reasoning, even their wilder interpretations they are at least honest about
>>98516211>prevent multiple lands from untappingDoesn't that describe Vorinclex?
>>98516218look at the definition and look at vorinclex, i know you can do this anon i know you're not that dumb
genuinely how did we get to a point where a core component of the game is just off limits to interact with because enough people were too fucking stupid to figure out ways to play around it?
>>98516240>what is griefing via mld? surely that's impossible
>>98516243literally no one cast armageddon without a parity break in mind that's just a collective psychosis imagined up by retards mad they overextended. if you got enough retards together to say creature board wipes were too feelsbad for the game you could get that punted to bracket 4 too.

>>98516257mld was never a serious strategy though
>>98516240Because the whole gimmick of this format used to be casting 9 mana crap rares and you cannot do that when people are blowing up lands. As time went on the format the format became about playing gay streamlined actually effective synergy piles but people never let go of their "you are not allowed to stop me from doing things" mindset.
>>98516262>i never saw it so it didn't happen>casual sentiments in a casual game? what's that?make a wild guess why this was bannedprotip: it's not because of its actual power level
Anyone who says that cards that effectively stop you from using lands arent the same thing as an Armageddon in the majority of instances shouldnt be taken seriously >>98516240Commander is a casual format and people are not trying to play games where they arent able to cast anything over 3 cmc the entire game because the landfall player is destroying everyone's mana base just so they can recur their own, or a player who cant even do that and just thinks its fun for the lols to do it multiple times a gameor the stax player who really wants to play muh technical card and pretend that not being able to use your lands isnt the same as them being blown up the majority of timeCommander is about playing unserious shit that you cant play elsewhere in a casual multiplayer setting and in a casual multiplayer setting the enjoyment of everyone involved is more important than whether or not you actually win and if you cant understand that then you should be playing standard
>>98515400Lmao, is your sister a lawyer now?
>>98514979Because I love redheads and want to make her work
If you notice you're facing a lot of artifact decks, you scryfall up cards that can easily wipe out artifacts efficiently. If you notice your planeswalker deck keeps getting bullied in creature heavy pods, you can run a lot of board wipes. If you notice people just keep windmill slamming 7 mana bombs after ramping for 3 turns, WOAH WOAH WOAH HOLD ON THERE BUDDY WE CAN'T HAVE YOU RUINING THE GAME FOR THEM. PICK ON DECKS YOUR OWN SIZE LIKE KRIIK OR KINNAN

>>98516323Yes, I will. Every thread until it changes.

I've realized something, someone was jokingly or maybe seriously thinking of building a child of alara deck, when I just looked up indestructible mana rocks on scryfall and posted a screenshot the first response was something along the lines of >Yeah bro just add $200 worth of cards to your deck That's when it struck me, the anti-proxy fag is just bitter people proxy and he spends. The most egregious of those artifacts was of a mind Stone and the soul stone, each of those are fairly expensive, but not game-breakingly powerful. So the anti-proxy fag it seems to get mad at proxies solely because people proxy expensive cards and not strictly powerful cards. He's a bitter paypig.
>>98516524>edh is a social game guys>what do you mean i have to abide by social norms, like buying genuine items? wtf?!
>>98515875I wish it was, Voltron deleting a combo player from the table instantly would be really funny
>>98516507Idk I just find graveyard shit fun
>>98516524thanks for once again proving that proxy fags are usually just uncreative noobs who don't want to do any real digging or investigating to make their deck concept work. a real card to proxy because it's expensive is this guy, but you've never heard of him because you're the exact type of manchild UB was designed to rake in. or you could just fucking spend like 10 bucks for dawn's truce or anything really.
>>98516524It is amusing that you still believe there is only one person who doesn't like proxies,
Have you ever traded counterfeit cards? I remember way back when I lived in New york city l, I traded, I think 10 cards, including a cabal coffers and cradle for a commander anthology 2. I sometimes think about it, I wonder who out there ended up with those fake cards. It's something you definitely couldn't get away with today.
>>98516706>Have you ever traded counterfeit cards?of course not i'm not a shameless nigger stealing from whole foods and say it's just a rounding error
>>98516706I was traded a fake Archangel of thune from a friend, one of his old 4 of play set.He then tried to sell his other 2 to and lgs and was told they were fake. He did give me the money for its value since I did trade him real card for it.That has been my only experience with fake cards.
>>98514979I'm buying for all 3 right now
>>98516706No because I just proxy everything I need so I don't get scammed buying cards from third party sellers for my real money

When did you stop buying magic product? I stopped once normal booster boxes crossed the 100 buck threshold. I used to buy at least 1 box every set and every single commander deck, but that shit is unsustainable for my budget now. The Hatsune Miku stuff is the only product I bought in years. And even then, I know it wasn't worth it, I just love vocaloid.
>>98517441https://mtg.wiki/page/Strictly_better
>>98517469I buy a few packs each set just to fulfill a slight gambling itch and the nostalgia of cracking packs and smells new cards, otherwise I just buy singles.

>>98517522They do, and always brings me back to when I started playing back during tempest.
>>98517469Every six months or so I'll buy 5-10 packs from a few sets that I don't know much about or haven't opened many packs from, to satisfy the urge to open some new cards. It brings back some of the fun of seeing new draft chaff cards and considering how best to use them, rather than optimising my existing decks.Financially I've been lucky to just about break even, I pulled a Cavern of Souls from Avacyn Restored, and a Sheoldred, the Apocalypse from Dominaria United, both in Japanese.

>>98517422Just lie lol
>>98517586Basically this. People brag about making money back, but 98% of the time the never intended to sell, and with the way this game goes, often the best time to sell is the first 8 months of a set.

>>98517586>>98517598Okay fair point, I haven't sold and in fact the cards are not even in any decks yet, but I don't think it's important to sell them if I'm indicating the value of cards I opened roughly matches what I've spent on packs.

So they didn't want it.
>>98517714I always have itBecause I'm cheating, sleight of hand, cards up my sleeves etc.
Im going to be honest Im pretty sure I asked this question recently but I cant find it in the archives so im going to ask it againIf I own a card thats not the most powerful thing ever and its not a land but its something that multiple decks that play that strategy would run do you think its alright just to show proof of having one real copy and then proxying it for other decks or would you be someone who wants that person to have 10 copies of that one card or just have to rotate it between decks every time
>>98517801>do you think its alright just to show proof of having one real copy and then proxying it for other decks or would you be someone who wants that person to have 10 copies of that one card or just have to rotate it between decks every timeYes, that is is what I do, and I'll be honest with you, most people won't even ask for proof.

And that's not getting into other issues like you mentioned. >>98518727He never was. He was as GC in the first version on the list.Which means he wasn't MLD from the start.
>>98518727>>98518740I'm fairpy certain wotc specifically addressed vorinclex at aome point in one of their bracket updates abd said that while its effect didn't exactly fit, that they consider it MLD for now.
>>98518752based wotc changing rules randomly to fuck up people's decks because they can't make an actual rule system
>>98518678Mossborn can't be a commander or kill with commander damage you noob>>98518689Now you've heard it. You're welcome
>>98518761Green is full of creature tutors and can easily recover creatures from the graveyard. You don't need commander damage when you can make it a 40+
>>98518752Oh, nm, just checked and that was when it was put on the GC list, that that was the reason it was put there. It was then taken off of the GC list citing its obscene mana value, so I guess it's fine.
>>98518692Just build that $100 goblin stomp deck and slot Kreat into the 99.
>>98518675How dare you.
>>98518769Tutor for a 3 mana creature that needs 40 damage to kill vs casting a repeatable 2 mana creature from the command zone that only takes 21 to kill. You must be really bad at math, anon>>98518828Literally who
>>98518778Yeah, if it were MLD, they wouldn't have put it on the GC list. When they took it off the GC list, they would have said "yeah, no reason for it to be here since it's MLD" but they didn't, they said specifically, it's a strong card but it's cost makes it balanced at lower brackets since it will take so long to drop. Ergo, it's not MLD by Wotcs own logic.
>>98518876>high cmc makes him balanced>when he's green, the color that can slam out a gorillion lands by turn 4
>>98518876>if it were MLD they wouldn't have put it on the GC listIt was on the GC before MLD was recognised by the bracket system.Otherwise, yes, it seems that way despite their reason for putting it on the GC list to start.
>>98518900If you're doing this consistantly, your deck is already b4.
>>98518667Ai art are just proxies for real art anon lol chill
>>98518917Not him, but how? Green can just run three visits, farseek, cultivate, and all the various flavors of them on top of their other pick of landfall degeneracy.
>yet another "this card is mld" episode by anons who dont even know how wotc defines mld in the first place
>>98518950Keep seething, LMAO
>>98518907Anon, what kind of silly revisionist history is this?MLD as a concept and the game changers list were both released at the same time with the introduction of the brackets.Furthermore, the quote you are linking is them saying he's close to being MLD, but not MLD, but they still wanted him out of bracket 2.
>>98518667All he does is seethe
i've seen so many decks just fucking die if you cast this on curve let alone can recur it every turn.
>>98518900No Timmy, a color having ramp doesn't suddenly mean an 8-drop shouldn't do anything useful.
>>98519045He's an asshole and you know it. If you're not running a bunch of dorks or tokens, he can absolutely wreck decks.>inb4 interactionYou're not always going to have swords or path on hand.
>>98519045I have never heard of this card in my life. You must be playing against scrubs
>>98519045>Wow if you Pact lock the table with a Modern Horizons card, you win!Tell me more about this innovative strategy anon.
>>98519061pact lock is a hurdle decks should be ready to survive
>>98519045I just scoop if this gets recurred and I am on a strategy that isn't go wide.
A girl asked to see some of my Magic cards so i showed her my commanders and a few cards I like from those decks.. what do you guys think she'll think of me for these?
>>98519069no gravehate?
>>98519066No deck can survive all possible hurdles in the game.
>>98519073Farewell is a GC now.
>>98519074yeah but i can survive pact with draft chaff
>>98514633that reminder text isn't correct. you can untap a creature after it's dealt damage, it's strictly superior to vigilance
>>98518959Yeah, actually that's really fair if you're running dorks instead of land ramp. I don't know how you could do it with land ramp, though.1 - land, go2 - land, ramp3 - land, double ramp4 - lands, ramp (I guess you have 8 now but it's tapped?)
>>98519083What's the option in monored outside of running some artifact that does nothing else?
>>98519066Okay and your deck should be able to survive me doing a Breach combo yet for some reason you keep losing to it.
>>98518993Sure buddy boy whatever makes you sleep at night us piggies are always ready to salvage f2poors, regards from /vg/ :)
>>98519098Wrong.Vigilance mean your creature never taps to begin with so it isn't susceptible to effects that stop it from untapping.Reconnaissance is vulnerable to the effects.
>>98519017If you're right than that'a just mw not following. I guess I only started hearing about MLD this year so I figured it was an update. Maybe it was just defined better in a later update and they deck trackers started using it, cause I swear it was only thing year or late last that harbinger of the seas turned my b2 monoblue deck into b4
>>98519045Best friends.I stopped using this deck after a few games cause it was way, way too oppressive against most decks.Still lost its first game to a WRG value engine that shit out creatures like mad.
>>98519103idgi the random common from tarkir i just posted does survive breach combo
>>98519102Nothing, monored is trash for removal. The option is win faster or draw chaos warp.
>>98519137Guess I was right
>>98519102no one cares what's mono green's non-damage based boardwipe? red doesn't even need creatures a lot of the time to win.
>>98519158Nothing. Hence why this statement was correct >>98519074
>>98518640I can understand and to a degree sympathize with your position. However, I could make an entire deck with nothing but alt arts that are official that could make a board as hard to read as any of my proxies. It is just an unreasonable expectation that everyone should use default prints because they are easy for you to read.
>>98519158
>>98519169It may be unreasonable but I'm still going to call you a faggot for not doing it
>>98519176doesnt kill creatures greens got plenty of artifact/ench wipes
>>98519131I wanted to make my first BW deck focused around that exact card but first I've gotta play this asshole for a while until my friend learns about why tryharding is dumb.
>>98519208this guy needs partner with cheville
>>98519211They'll probably go Abzan when they finally decide to expand on bounty cards. I looked them up to see if there was anything special to go with the ass creed guy but no, there's literally only six cards that name bounty counters.
>>98519219yes they're all WBR except my poor hairy boi
>>98519208It aint valid until you get the version with bounty county counters
>>98519045squall.dec either wins handedly or can't get off the ground thanks to edicts and there's no middle ground
>>98513998Only good equipment ever printed btw.
>>98519223The what now? I just happened to own this guy, I've only ever opened one Assassin's Creed pack one Christmas ago and it happens that right now it's the perfect counter to kicking my Voja friend's ass. I ain't seeking out some special misprint just to show off in a degenerate deck I don't want to exist in the first place.
>>98519235
>>98519238I don't get it
>>98519238Yeah mine doesn't have that. That's pretty silly though I wonder how something to do with spelling can still happen in 20 fucking 24. Then again they also somehow still do frameshifts so who knows.
>>98519238oh I see it now, bounty county
>>98519222So is Bounty Board any good? Is it worth it running a 3 mana rock for the redundancy?
>>98519258I know some counters are weird and despite have the same name, aren't the same type so there might not be synergy here.
>heh, so if I just went out and bought The One Ring instead of proxying you'd be okay with it? seems you can't rid of the problem card>go ahead and buy it then>w-well... I'm not gonna spend $100 on a card!>seems we've solved the problem by banning proxies then
>>98519208I had a deck around this feller, trying to be a Voltron control deck but it was very hit or miss. It’s a hard counter for pillow fort decks but most pillow fort decks still have a dozen ways to make themselves huge so it doesn’t even do well there.https://archidekt.com/decks/22428747/i_make_my_own_luck_archiveI’m not sure what you could do to give it more staying power aside from more stax or instead of Voltron pieces do token gen.
>>98519280As long as the counter is the correctly named counter, all cards that interact with it react in the same way. There's no real room for confusion in there. Obviously yes this would, "not work", with Mathas very well because his ability only interacts with bounty counters that he places the effect onto, but that does not make them not still bounty counters. Chevill and Shay are both perfectly able to use bounty counters from any source to make their effect go off, as does this artifact.
>>98519301>I go out and buy a chang proxy for 1 dollar>"Yeah, I got a bonus at work so I bought a real one."Now what?
>>98519320Acceptable. You have to live with being Jewishly dishonest and tricking everyone around you like a troon. Deep down you know your card isn't real.
>>98519241It's a misprint.
>we only have one edhg for the first time in foreverUB clearly killing mtg.

>>98518769Can Mossborn Hydra kill someone T3? Because Green Queen can.
>>98519316This is a spite deck I just want to be able to consistently be able to kill a Voja by turn 3 desu, I was planning on filling my own deck with as many kill spells as possible alongside generic Vampire bulk, looks like I'm at 11 removal right now I'm gonna need more. Then some classic mono black goodstuff sprinkled in, Sheoldred, Damnation, Crypt Ghast, etc maybe Grave Betrayal since I'm running so much removal. The guy seems really good at being a problem solver to hold onto in the back pocket but idk if I'd wanna go voltron with an effect like this, unless I was doing something to draw and reset the graveyard often.Ok first off, based for running Moon Mirror Shield. Yeah Hex seems pretty great I'm picking up one of those as well, same with some of those Repartee creatures. Oh man Cauldron of Souls, that's genius. I would say if you're having trouble with Pillow Fort to run stuff like Farewell and Planar Cleansing, but then you're also potentially eating into your own equipment's setup, which is hard when you're all in like this. For more staying power you should be running some boots if those swords aren't doing enough, and of course Darksteel Plate is a must. Knight Exemplar and Timely Ward are fun and all but a board wipe is still going to rape you unless you run it. If you're worried about not being wide enough slapping Indestructible onto pic related has always been a favored move in my own voltron deck.
>>98514198Shes pretty good. Can get her out really early. Landfall is piss easy to play. Green has alot of protection, ramp, draw and recursion. Green also has some powerful battle tricks that will knock players out quick with the doubling power.
>>98514198She's good and can be built to any power level. You can go full sweat mode with shit like Scale Up and kill someone turn three, or you can go a slower route with Bristly Bill effects since there are tons of "whenever land enters out counter on creature" and just cycle fetches with additional lands and recursion.
>>98519496I might have to revisit the deck idea, atm most of that old deck is sitting in a deck box sleeved up but I’ll have to redo the Voltron package. I ended up gutting it for upgrades to a dedicated equipment deck.https://archidekt.com/decks/24944657/me_and_my_fine_shytAlso in Shay, inversion behemoth and VATS go fucking crazy, those are definitely two cards you should look at getting.

>>98519132Okay anyway I cast Dispel for its escape cost, damn seems you got outplayed ggs.
>>98519132That's not actually true because every card that requires sorcery speed in a Breach combo is protected by priority giving the caster an opportunity to move it out of the GY and onto the stack.
>>98518345Nope. I've even encountered more normiefags that are against proxying or are embarrassed by their proxying that they ask if it's alright than enfranchised players.
