He could totally act as a handler for her, it is kinda his job, and he has a lot more experience with the world which he could share. Sadly, not a lot of them are good for the image of land dwellers, and computers aren't really known for interacting well with water. On a side note, Mako did inspire me to make a elemental super power build themed around an animal, hence having the codename of Chameleon.

As they went for a full decade of being a wandering genestealing hobo half of the time and the other being a secluded hermit in some remote island, growing weird plants and shit.After that there was the whole training arc and getting into a weird relationship with their mentor. They pretty much adopted the whole the ends justify the means mindset from her and a lot of other ticks, like they pretty much mimicked that women for their public persona. Kinda still gets reinforced as she is pretty much the closest social contact they have and actually open up to.Then I have no idea how long it took for them to get filthy rich and be recognized as a top geneticist so I guess another decade or two at least.I will kinda specify that Eden personally doesn't hate anything, they don't actually hold grudges I am not even sure if they can. Them getting more unhinged actually stems from their always on empathy. It's like some weird ocd response. Their plans mostly involve trying to fix that whole emotional gestalt, so damaging their plans in a way hurts them and gives them an itch to fix it. So pretty much the more that emotion field gets damaged the more unhinged and closer to the brutal bioweapon mindset it gets. But you would pretty much need to induce mass panic, suffering and distress for that to happen and it gets better as the chaos dies down. The creature is pretty much running on the utilitarian calculus based on the empathy readings I should probably make a extra merge power for that.

It definitely wouldn't use the word "one" if it intended to give all the powers. Even in the 10 minute part it says "you gain an exact copy of the targets power". Not really sure what the powers means maybe the energy? Or maybe you absorb all of them but you can only contain one of them and everything else is lost.
