I'll have Sherlock accept my mana into his Spirit Origin using a carefully worded command, turning him subservient.
He'll uncover the other's whereabouts, help my reviver maintain my disguise within the church, and plan for me to swoop in and either kill or turn them and their Master into thralls. Repeat until I can sacrifice everyone, betray my reviver, and get Root access.
There are a lot of ways this goes wrong. I'm banking on an A-rank command, Hollow and ancestorship sufficing to convert a servant to begin. Camaraderie assumes succesful vampirization.

What is the most beautiful cyoa, in your opinion? I think Ouroboros by PCA has some of the best design in the entire medium. Quality aside, I'm not sure that the same concept could have possibly been done better from a visual standpoint. It is effectively the platonic ideal of how that specific CYOA should look.

Because I don't make CYOAs that are long enough to justify making an interactive. Each CYOA I made are 4, 5, and 6 pages in length respectively, and I didn't use points autism when making them. Lt. Ouromov's Worm CYOA is basically the only justified interactive, imo, though I think that tankista's giganigga CYOAs could do well as interactives as well.

I'm pretty good at using photoshop. Nobody'll pick my CYOA out as being the BEST looking ever, but it looks good and I'm proud of it. It's also remarkably easy to make your CYOA look good. All I did was pick a couple of CYOAs I liked the look of (Monster Hunter by Bliss and Where Did The Angels Go by that ___v person) and aped them.

While important CYOA graphics are not everything, and photoshop is overrated anyway. MS Paint is perfectly fine for making CYOAs. Interactive CYOAs have a problem, which is that the hosting platform can decide to go nuclear on NSFW content and nuke my interactive CYOAs. This has happened and NSFW reddit has lost countless NSFW CYOAs this way. If I'm gonna put in hard work making a CYOA, I want to create something that lasts and cannot be destroyed by some uptight woke censorous bastard. For me, the pros of making interactive CYOAs do not outweigh the cons. And I should add that most of my CYOAs have been adapted by other people and made into interactive versions.

This is either going to go extremely well or extremely badly. I'm a wanted cripple with only a single command seal to my name, but in exchange I am a truly monstrous mage with ties to the Root and what should be the right kind of magic to fully exploit this connection. Given how far apart everyone is and how early I am, my weaker starting position shouldn't matter too much since I have plenty of time to heal before anyone finds me, and also I can just hide in Doomsday Come. Idea is to capture the enemy masters/servants in Doomsday Come and kill them with the other NP fuelled by my ungodly amounts of mana. I will of course be going for the third magic, but since Pale Rider is basically a robot it shouldn't mind dying for me.

Final update (probably, don't quote me on this). I swapped Hollow for Fire since it seems the latter works better for my build (apparently fire symbolises life and death), I also dropped survival. In exchange I gained the ability to use High-Speed Divine Words in the modern day, meaning I can cast my awesome big spells way, way faster, thus making me a lot harder to kill.

I've been pretty open about it being interactive from the beginning...

Aside from the fact that I'm putting in a lot of effort to give it a unique and pretty design (my prettiest yet, I think), being an interactive lets me do lots of wacky fun stuff. Like include OSTs directly in the CYOA instead of as a weird janky alternate page, or giving characters context-based dialogue to react to your choices, or having fun secrets (like Cityscape Skirmish's secret page, but less jank)

There's one big surprise in the CYOA, where the idea of it was what ultimately convinced me to take the plunge and start making it. The idea dragging the rest of the CYOA (which has plenty of other neat ideas, but slightly less captivating to me personally) along with it. And that particular idea doesn't really work outside of an interactive, at least not well. You could say "the medium doesn't allow for it." So it was interactive or nothing.
