I just finished my first little squad, I was using sub assemblies, I'm now looking at doing the three Infernus marines that came with the little paint set. They're the new style of snap together and they have little pegs and shit. Is there any tips for how to get around painting them? I was thinking of just doing some slapchop and then just going pretty easy with them but I don't think I can get the details with a full assembled marine and I don't want to get paint all over the parts that fit together.

It’s a T-34 and it’s thing was more infantry ridding on the tank for transport (Germany was also doing this late in the war) They probably COULD eat a shaped charge from a launcher (Germany had spaced skirts on tanks for this and AT rifles), but a full AT gun round would just go through the guy and into the tank. Crews in WWII in general added a shit ton of extra armor onto their tanks regardless of vehicle or nation. The US had to tell tankers stop loading tanks up with concrete and random shit since it wouldn’t actually do much to stop a shell and instead weight a tank down. Here’s a much better idea what Soviet add on armor would look like. And dudes are still clamoring around on it

Maybe their reformulated stuff was bubbly on release. But that hopefully has been quietly fixed.
