TQ: I looked around my place and counted 26 decks. At least 16 are unmodified precons. I like precons, a lot. At one point I did a purge and sold a bunch of decks too. Only 5 of these decks are 'current and relevant' to me, the others are old and from before the bracket-system was invented. I've been played Commando for 10-ish years at this point. I consider myself a casual player.How many is too many? If they are just sitting at home on the shelf, and you have storage space, you can have unlimited decks. But in terms of how many would I bring out to the LGS? I think choosing 5 decks you would want to play for that session is a good amount for me.

Muraganda raceway and gastal thrillseeker are the only ones i'd consider running, and you could just replace the speed cards with other creatures that have first or double strike. But you're going to run into the same problem with either deck since they're both so reliant on their commanders for big swings. Of the two, i'd say that tsagan is a little more reliable since he's active as long as he can swing, whereas neriv screeches to a halt if you're not dropping creatures constantly and reliably.

Pick what you want the card to actually do, right now it's just a schizophrenic toolbox. 3. Remove the wipe. If you're attacking with athena, unless you choose to untap it with your mode choice, you're probably not going to get it off. Your commander killing itself AND ending the turn also isn't very good, since you don't even have the benefit of doing it on someone else's turn. I get it's a reference to ultima, but having to pay 10 mana for it isn't worth it.
