>>98672278First for big tiddy goth girl eschers
Wonder if Necromunda is just going to get Orlock or Orlock+Van Saar, or if they’re gonna throw us for a loop and not do the established order.
>>98672639Based on the image teaser, I'm actually guessing Cawdor + GCG - a burning skull and a tin of corpse starch are pretty indicative.
>>98672647Apparently the burning skull is for legion of the damned for KT, and personally I think the corpse starch tin is more a generic “hey look, Necromunda is getting something” hint. But I guess we’ll see. I would love to see some new Cawdor sculpts especially.
>>98672647Burning Skull is for Kill Team since the rumour for that is Legion of the Damned CGC will just be it's own release no other gang along with them
>>98672875>>98672906See, the issue with that is that it makes way too much sense and would get me into Kill Team, and I don't have the time or money to get into Kill Team, so I'm gonna pretend it's for Cawdor and be both hype and disappointed when I end up having too many things to spend money on.That said, Orlock+Van Saar would also slap, so I guess I'm fucked either way.
>>98672639>>98672875I want new Delaque weirdos and maybe an Aranthian upgrade sprue with seven-pointed star iconography and archaic versions of the standard weapons. I'm thinking really ornate lasrifles and swords or whatnot
>>98666784blood bowl is the only good GW game, homosabi>>98666912>>98668573exactly
Legion of the Damned in primaris armors and weapons would so be peak retardation from GW design team.
>>98672376Someday I'll finish painting them anon, but it's a project I don't want to fuck up even a little.
Any word on what we should expected this Friday? I'm quite out of the loop.
https://gofile.io/d/ZybtF6Yqreposting the final necrodamus pdf since it was so popular, 58 downloads so far.
>>98673387GSC Mind Control:>An enemy fighter within 9" and LOS>LOSIt still has random house rules without specifically calling them out. Not a big issue on its own, but it is kind of the reason why Necroraw was born.
>>98673597And if necroraw has an offline single document i'm willing to compare.
>>98673611Download the site. Like we used to do some decades ago.
>>98673626So, no.Nothing I can take to tge printer without doing a shitload of formatting, editing and cross-referencing.
>>98673649Not sure what is the complaint here. Necroraw is just the rulebooks in a website, you can print the rules if you want, but that would defeat the point of having it in a website.
>>98673704I see now, you've just been completely ignoring the discussion.
>>98673740Anon Necroraw are just the current rules stored in a website without the fluff text. Necrodamus are a mix of houserules and current rules, that sometimes has the fluff text. Two totally different things
>>98673762Right, you didn't pay attention.
>>98673704He wants everything in a single document that is easy to print, feel good about, and store forever without playing a single game.Rules or houserules don't matter because he wants it as a totem, not a tool.
>>98674386>real /tg/ doesn't use rulebooks!kek
>>98674393You could do what actual players of the game did, and use the published rulebooks. If you had had a single experience of playing, you would understand that "having everything in one place" is not a genuine concern for a player. You do not use Everything in a single game. Or even a single campaign. You claim to want to turn an electronic resource that was specifically created to avoid printed resources into a printed resource. It's for your bookshelf, and that's it.
>>98674555>just cross reference 20+ books and 100+ FAQ/errata plus various articles.You're a moron.
>>98674555Having a physical book is a thousand times better than scrolling through your phone, having a single physical book is unparalleled. You're a GW apologist.
>>98674638A book's not going to do jack shit for you with reading comprehension like that, nogames.I'll repeat: you won't use 30 books and 69 optional scenarios and 999 FAQs in one game. Or one campaign, nogames. On a particularly heavy day you might need to consult 3 things, and that's if you're too stupid to remember the single line of text which is 100% of what you need from the third source. You are pursuing an aesthetic object, and it will gather dust. There's a good chance it will never be in the same room with 2+ people again after the day you get it spiralbound at Staples and the Pakistani clerk hands it back to you. You and him will be forever linked in time as the top two users of the item.
>>98674764You couldn't make it a week without internet or devices, zoomer.
Why are we so angry in here
>>98674843Players vs. PostersThose who cannot play, get very particular and angry about things online to compensate.
Necrodamus is the LRB6 of NecromundaKEK.
>>98674872No, Oldcromunda is, it's got that perfect team balance and beautiful unbloated simplicity.N17.2026 is like that theoretical /tg/ homebrew where you play BFG and have sub-games of risk for planetary battles with sub-games of battleship and epic for each risk fight or whatever. I can't remember it all but the point was specifically to bloat it to absurdity.
>>98674764or you can just use the same rulebook every time you play...
>>98674927Necrodamus is not N17, there're a distinction. They're the same in the context of them both shitting up this thread with endless back and forth arguments.
>>98676016Uhh yes it is, it's just a compilation of the totality of N17.
>>98672639Van Saars's already got a nu-team
>>98676188Still missing Champ kit, which will also come with Cyberachnid
What's the latest version of the Necromunda 2026 transcript?
Someone last thread was getting upset about Lizardmen being OP but they've never even won a championship and they only ever made it to the finals twice
>>98677088that's literally just fluff with no basis in reality or the actual gameplay why did they have a strike in 89?if you go by like the blood bowl 2 world championship the first 5 or so were won by lizards. cyanide intentionally made the lizardmen and wood elves the preorder teams because they were overpowered and then they made undead the first DLC team for the same reason
>>98677200You're not making any sense right now
>>98677219I think you just don't know how to read
>>98676034No. It is not. Necrodamus has random changes that make sense due to how ass NuNecromunda rules are. For example armor is mess and Necrodamus made a house rule for them and it is explicitly presented as such. Meanwhile things like the GSC familiars for example in the current rule they can avoid damage to the owner once per turn and is not limited to the amount of familiar vs Necrodamus that the familiar can do it once per round regardless of the number of familiars.Big difference in how you build a champion of 1 wound when you can avoid damage twice or more in a round vs once in the round.Does it have a massive difference with the raw rules? not really, but it has enough difference that someone using the raw rules vs necrodamus rules could end building their gang differently due to the slightly different mechanics. The only thing the OP said about Necrodamus is that is not usually clear when it is doing raw rules, when it is fixing things for clarity and when it is just a house rule. As a result Necrodamus is a fanmade rules that for some fucking reason an anon is sperging about printing and other seem to think it is just the raw rules which is not the case.It really does not matter what rule set the group uses as long as everyone is using the raw rules such as Necroraw that is just the published rules in a website format or carrying the 1 to 3 books for that one campaign or using the massive necrodamus pdf.
>>98677320That familar rule were FAQ last year my guy.
>>98677320>random changesNo it has necessary compromises because the guys doing Necrodamus did something GW would never ever ever do, they cross-referenced ALL the rules to find hypocrisy and impossible interactions AND they added ALL FAQ and errata into the rules. So as other anon just pointed out, these things you keep spotting that you think are wrong, are actually correct, but you just missed it in the mountain of FAQ and errata because no one is going to consult all those loose pdfs on top of the full shelf of rule books while they are playing.Necrodamus eliminates the midgame rules arguments.>muh RAW rulesexcept RAW is not the rules, GW always fucking invalidates the RAW within a few weeks of the RAW being published, the books you buy from GW are NEVER correct.
Shadow War intro game.Shenanigans, gruesome deaths and Alpha Legion victory, yay!.
>>98677200Look my guy it's very clear right there and that is from GW, your lord and masters. The lizards have never won.Just get over it.
>>98677377Yes fanmade rules that is all that anon are saying. Is not like fanmade rules are bad after all warmaster is still played due to tism like warmaster revolution
>>98677395Sovl homemade terrain, equator-anon.
>>98677421Fan-FIXEDIt is the final form of N17, I know it is scary and confusing for you being a GW paypig and shill, but for anyone not experiencing wargame stockholme syndrome, a set of rules that actually work together is not a scary thing to scream in fear of.

>>98677491>I know it is scary and confusing for you being a GW paypig and shill>pulling this when talking about Necroraw and Necrodamus>both things exist explicitly so you do not have to pay for GW rulesok.jpg I bet anon would also cope and seethe about Munda manager or yaktribe online gang builder because it is not a fan made pdf he can print.
>>98674764Tbf Id rather people just uploaded the actual scans that way I get the lore, artwork, and rules that my own group can edit to our liking.
>>98678238Your group isnt going to edit that much material
>>98678253>>98678238Funniest part, is that the AWG thread has better resources for GW games than this thread. It seems we only come here to bitch and moan, but then again that is the most fun part of GW related products that are currently supported by GW
>>98678270>check out /awg/ based on this comment>first poster is a literal naziUhhh.....
>>98678253You miss the point. Im not editing any document. We just verbally agree what rules are shit and need changing. For instance last edition we didnt let people stack undersuits and ablative armour. Post the actual scans. Im more in it for the art and to have a pseudo dark mode version of the text. >>98678270Do they have BB S3 as Ive given up hope of people ever posting it here like they used to? I dont even see the point of the pastbin for this general at this stage. And b4 some fag goes '"But you can get the rules already"I know and still want the scans for other shit.
>>98678306>Post the actual scansif you're going to simp for the corpo you could at least pay them, i can't scan what I don't (and won't ever) have.
>>98678328Anon you waste the time and effort typing out the rules into a reader. Youre just as much a cuck by refusing to acknowledge that some people want the stuff besides the rules. Especially given its a pseudo-RPG. Except its being a cuck to random people on the internet. Are you that pathetic that you cant handle that I dont want your houserules or plain document? I dont want a soulless document of just rules, I want the rules ALONG with the other stuff. >cant scan what I dont haveThen this proposition to upload them isnt really directed at you then is it? though I question how you get the rules. If its by a 3rd party site then defending their work to this extent makes you as much a cuck as youre projecting that I am as its not even your own work. Post RAW rules and have houserules/fixes as separate or integrated page listing them so people cant decide how THEY want to play.

The pact lineorc should have S access and I think the only reason he doesn't is that some fags are afraid of the claw mb orc on a team with no big guys. that or GW's just retarded
>>98678511>year of our lord>not having an iron that can plug to a printerWhat next, you do not have wireless paintbrushes?

Huh it seems that NuNuNuNecromunda killed all interest for it.
>finally get to do a throw teammate after getting charged on the last 10 times I tried it>forgot that it's technically a "fail" unless you roll a 6 and rerolls a 3 into a 1 on fumbbl I also hate the Dakka shit. I hate how the meta is is just don't play defense and then dakka so the whole fucking thing is just don't play blood bowl
>>98683890>just don't play blood bowljust dont play "Gw presents: blood bowl-ish"
>>98683905most of the ag teams play that way, they'll maybe try one jump in and then will run away all half except to maybe pressure and then screen on turns 7 and 8 because the one turn TDs are too good and then they'll dakka on offense and it's the best way to win as an AG team vs a bash team but it's super unfun to play and fucking sucks as the bash team because you can't really win against elves or rats with a lot of bash teams unless you get cas. like you score, you get one or 2 turned on and then they dakka and score or even if they fail the one turn you still get dakka'd on and tie That's like the only advantage humans have over orcs. Humans are way better at scoring with those MA8 catchers and you can fight elves better due to the mighty blow tackle stack and the increased speed making it harder for them to dakka against you orcs are more fun vs nonelves with the 3 mighty blow and 2 break tackles
>>98684067>like you score, you get one or 2 turned onWith bash vs ag you take 8 turns to score to prevent that
>>98677395Shadow War as in Shadow War: Armageddon? How is it so far? I inherited the full rulebook and I wanted to give it a read then maybe a try.
>>98684095they can still one turn. I should have done a better job at keeping my team together when I broke through on turn 6-7 cause I couldn't really stall turn 8. I also got fucked on the kick off, last 2 games I got raped on the kickoff to end the half, a short kick, the first time into a high kick into a touch back and then this game it was a short kick into a time out giving 3 turns to score. they can still one turn anyway. I like the multireroll for normal play, but what is gay as fuck is teams now won't play defense and will hold onto all 3 or 4 rerolls for the one turn attempt instead because not engaging and then doing a one turn with like 3 or 4 rerolls is a better strat than losing all your rerolls and guys to stop a score. it's a design problem, like how the new stall rule is fucking retarded and just fucks over newer/worse players while not affecting anyone who actually can stall
>>98684314and this is the current gw edition, yes?
>>98684161Yes, its very, very good. Coming from Mordheim and now having a wageslave life, Shadow War is better, because its simpler, gets all the action and very little after action, and its easier to play casually. The objective is to accumulate 15 promethium tanks, which you always win between 1 and 3 and some more sometimes. You can also spend them to get extra money or special minis, so you can either park your team and play whenever or wait for someone and buy new stuff. You can also play much more casually than Kill Team any edition.Only downside is, weapons jam way more often than the lore would indicate, and killing things is kinda hard, especially with shooting (you need a 6 to wound to take a mini out of the game when shooting)Its interesting because its just a necromunda reskin designed to sell a terrain box, but its way better than that.
yeah>inb4 some lrb6 shitI like the multireroll for normal play and the dakka shit would happen in lrb6 because it's just better but they really need to nerf OTTDs and dakkas. idk how you would nerf a dakka though
anyone know where I can find a pdf for gangs of the outlands for 26?
>>98686363It's weird to me they chose Tyranid Warriors as the base unit instead of Genestealers.
>>98687117Tyranid is the 2nd most overpowered team behind Clown in SA : A saved for 1 situational bad roll that get 1 warrior from your team kidnapped before the battle started.
>>98672278>TQPlease god give me reworked Slaan
>>98687647>20 players plus starYou do know the roster caps at 16, right? and it's not like orcs/humans/underworld where the range of positional options in full with starting linemen necessitates going over the capand yeah ive excluded coach apothecary and cheerleaders. from the count, wouldn't knock on those.
Hey gang, got the new Necromunda books recently, and I like the rules; I think theyre an improvement on what I read for N17. Still not a fan that they're releasing individual gang books, waste of shelf space and God damn GW charges so much for books nowadays. My question is how should I collect models? I was thinking of writing a generic all arounder list for the gangs I'll collect, but I haven't actually played Necromunda before(played a bit of Mordheim and Broheim, tho), and I wanted to use my gangs as Imperial Guard infantry proxies aka hive gang militia.Would it be suitable to just have ten guys with a mix of autoguns, lasguns, pistols, and melee weapons, so long as each looks unique enough that I can say who is who with what loadout? I'd probably have one or two others with special weapons to represent special and heavy weapons, or to represent the gang leader.
>>98687963Best way to start is buying the underhive crew box.>Would it be suitable to just have ten guys with a mix of autoguns, lasguns, pistols, and melee weaponsWell you can do this with all the "generic person" gangs like Chaos Cult, Genestealer Cult, Outcast, or Venator. Clan house tend to focus more on either auto or las, or have their own version of a basic weapon. >so long as each looks unique enough that I can say who is who with what loadout? No idea what this mean, if you meant you will use some custom 3rd party models then explain to your opp beforehand. You still had to write down a fighter cards with all the weapons on it so it's not a big problem.
>>98684161>>98686363Play Harlequins, instant win
>>98687647Coach Greenback, eh?>Stilleto, I want Danger Skaven killed before the game
>>98687963But never played, so that qualifier was worthless.Buy an ad
>>98687117Its because the jeanstealer cult has the jeanstealer as a special unit.I like it because they play different. Its a nid team but you play orks for CC hordes, so they chose warriors (and at the time, there wasn't much else than that, bigger minis or hordes)>>98688261I beat Harlies as orks ;) super fun and he never recovered in the campaign. You just need to tank their inevitable charge with one sacrifice, then pile up 6 + to one.
>>98687890Its just an image from a bloghttps://www.axelfendersson.co.uk/blog/2021/05/blood-bowl-slann/
>>98687890maybe he just likes painting? aren't slann expensive and they have a lot of positionals? he might have been from before they changed the blitzers and catchers to 0-2. they used to be 0-4 plus a krox (9). IDK why you would need 11 linos but whatever
>>98688960My slann have 4 each blitzers and catchers, 8 linemen and a croaksigor, big guy being extra is perfectly reasonable, but 11 linemen is odd if not for say, the pure hobgoblin chorf meme
Played another game of n26, I don't completely hate it anymore. I can have fun now that I adjusted my list to what the game is trying to be, but the survivability is still absolutely retarded. an enemy leader with unstoppable can stick onto a point and just never get shoved off, forget about it if they have medic support. I get they're trying to make it like mordheim but there is only one OOA on the dice and its fucking brutal.
>>98690060>ooa on the injury dicefigured I should specify cause OOA can mean out of ammo too.
>>98690060also another complaint, the combat shotgun is for sure going to be a problem. 35 creds and it basically is what the flame pistol was last edition, which was just a cheap way to pin a bunch of fuckers without needing to aim. this might even be worse than the flame pistol cause its less than half the creds. 3 of my guys run combat shotties, it'd be stupid not to. In fact it's one of the few weapons thats actually good for gangers. Your opponent is praying for a 50/50 and your guys just knock people down. The 6+ check doesn't even matter, you have a solid chance of turning gangers horizontal just on merit of rapid fire and auto hit, and even if it doesn't you have everyone else on your team to capitalize, and even then your opponent has to actually hit your guy to stop him from just reloading and firing again. weapon is absolutely nuts, no idea what they were thinking pricing this at 35 cred
>>98690159They're useful but not that strong. It sounds like you may be misunderstanding some element of the new rules due to your apparent comparison to Knocked Down status in Mordheim.Suppressed status isn't Knocked Down. All it is is the loss of an action. When your combat shotgun fails to wound, which will probably be a little more often than 50% of the time, you will be right beside enemies who can walk into melee with you and stuff your teeth down your throat. That's one of the best-case failure scenarios for you. In other, more common ones their gangers just shoot your combat shotguns with lasguns or autoguns and you take forever to get into template range.Combat shotties are good they just aren't worth spamming.
>>98688022Sorry, what I mean is I'm trying to make a generalist list for each of the gangs, with each model uniquely posed and styled so that visually you can distinct them and what they carry even if its not WYSIWYG. Ie, guy with a Plasma Gun actually has a Melta, Guy with a Grenade Launcher actually has a web gun, etcSorry I'm half a sleep rn and half asleep posting that previous.>>98688496wtf are you talking about I'm not advertising anything I'm trying to make gangs that can double as hive militia squads in 40k
>>98691437As I said you used cards for the fighters so it shouldn't matter much. But you were trying to make them unique why not make them use the correct weapon in the first place? Budget constrain? Although it might not be a problem, if you have most or your entire gang with proxy weapons you'll just annoy the hell out of your opponent.
>>98691313do you need to wound for suppressed now? oh shit I might have to apologize to some people
>>98687963use models that you already have and buy a house gang core box if you like one of them. Me personally I use blackstone fortress cultists for hive scum and I make a kitbashed leader and champs and play outcasts. That's just personal preference though.
>>98692168sorry, dark vengeance not blackstone
>>98692088>do you need to wound for suppressed now?NoCombat Shotgun is the go to weapon for prospect and gunner, but unless your list had them, it's expensive to buy from trading post. It's a great distraction tool to diverse attention. But you had to consider it's not a very strong weapon and it ran out after 1 shot. A ganger can also aim + shot and pin your combat shotgun user, and that will be the expected outcome, but you save your more important fighters from being targeted.
>>98692210I hear you, and yeah my shotguns weren't doing much killing it was my leader with long range high damage weapons and champs going wide to hit exposed parts of my opponent's defense, but I don't think I would've won without the shotguns. they were causing too many problems just by existing while my other ganger units weren't doing much. The shotgun is not exceptionally dangerous its got autogun lethality, but the guaranteed hit is incredibly strong especially now that gangers basically cap their hit roll at 3+ with an aim and shoot action now that ranges dont matter and attachments cant boost your hit roll. I've had suppressed enemies shoot back with 1 action, miss their 50/50 and then just get blasted again by my shotgun again after the reload. I have to say that on gangers these things are very high impact approaching too high especially now that your gangers can just start with hipshooter.
>>98692499It looks like your oppopnents weren't doing anything either.
I saw someone in 40kg say that Corpse Grinders might be putting in an appearance during todays preview. Any weight behind that particular rumor?

The new hive scum isn't to bad. Ya'll figure it's a new sprue with the old sculpts reworked or simply a new micro-sprue?
Not on my bingo card. Seems interesting at least, and appears to be a d100 system which I like.Worried about GW making an rpg ruleset though. I guess we’ll see. Could be cute.
>>98694634Seems to be an extra sprue added to it with two more bodies, and all the new weapons and skull heads. Same base kit.
>>98693376Wonder what this means for C7 RPG games or if SDS will be making more RPG games
>>98694692I dislike that it uses such a big grid>>98694767>C7 RPG gamesWell the just launched 5th Ed so I imagine their jobs are safe
>>98694692So uh anyone else remembers WHQ95, how that cool RPG lite game had full blown RPG rules included in the core book and the system built upon the base game? Not being an entirely separate product which seems to be incapable of interacting with the main systems of the original game? Yea. Maybe I'm just too negative but I don't see it playing well together with regular necromunda, it doesn't seem like a Battletech + Mechwarrior type of setup.
>>98694884Probably so it can fit up to 40mms, but yeah runs a little big.>>98694900Yeah, would have been cool if it had some more interaction with the main game. But for what it is, could be nice. It'll be a good tool to get my dnd people to try Necromunda.
Does this mean minis are optional?
>>98693499Well her eyes don't look like a downie, so its a pretty big step in the right direction as far as female GW sculpts go. Could probably paint that thot-wings on and make it look pretty close.I like the weird bdsm lapel overlay to the default Escher armor.
>>98694968i would guess this Necro RPG sounds more like Advance HeroQuest or Warhammer Quest-style game rather than a WFRP or Dark Heresy kind of thing
>>98694692>hive preacher>heretek>tech scabber>saboteur>Bane with Dr Pavel CorpseAm I the only freak that prefers these assorted lil fellas over Giganiggerius Assfuckarius centerpiece models? I'm a sucker for Imperial Agents for the same reason.
>>98695082>Giganiggerius
>>98694692Depending on the price will get it for the minis, they're pretty nice. Maybe the actual rpg would be fun for one or two sessions
>>98694968No. It means that the rules in the skirmish books won't be required for any characters or enemies appearing in the RPG. The miniatures company will never make a game that tells you you don't need minis. It's dastardly that they boiled the rules complexity out of N17 to make N26 and will now drizzle those rules back into NRPG. One of GW's best tricks yet.
This guy is super cool.>>98694766I count four new bodies. Total of eight scum.
Sculptor be huffing on that retarded "le Orlock the generic dude lel" meme and made the Orlock "hero" the most bland person possible with recycled head on top.
>>98691437The number of players who are strict about WYSIWYG seems to be a minority, but not a tiny one. If you aren't WYSIWYG, you still want to use pistols as pistols and heavy weapons as heavy weapons. If you buy an Underhive Crew box you'll have plenty of extra bodies anyway. You can build more gangers as you upgrade their weaponry.
>>98695339>eight bodiesYeah good call, I forgot the scum kit is four not six. Nice update to the scum then.
>>98693499>They actually moved buttons up to cover the cleavage compared with the artNeo-puritanism is a mental illness. The perfect showcase of 'it's okay to suffer' vs 'it's not okay to enjoy'.
>>98697842It's a shit model in general even without the "censorship". The male ones are about 80% accurated to the art while only the lone female is about 40%, this is classic James "we love women" Workshop's misogyny
looking for the current lord of the rings Rulebook. Anyone can help?
>>98695209Yeah, could be a fun little game. Minis are nice too. I had been wanting to run a Necromunda rpg by homebrewing the 40k W&G system a bit, but this might make it even easier.
>>98695082100% agree. Way more interesting to see a bunch of little details on weird mooks over one big thing. I like how the plastic cadaver merchant is an almost one to one of the resin kit bc they killed it so hard with that design.
>>98694692They were talking about corpse starch which made me think they'd do an expansion for the Corpsegrinders. Much as I hate them and everyone who plays them it makes sense to complete the range with a brute option etc. Just fighting some slightly improved hive scum models feels kinda unambitious. Why not have some scavvies as enemies?I really hate that I'm going to grab the set as a FOMO thing because I want all the hanger-on models. RPG wise I feel like I'd have more luck finding players for an RPG that was a more generic mega-city/cyberpunk game. A lot of people I know absolutely detest GW(I've had people who love LOTR refuse to try MESBG even with loaned models). And a good chunk of the people who do like GW/40K would want to generic 40K slop instead or try to bring that shit into Necromunda("Can I be a spy for the Inquisition?")
>>98694692Didn't a leaker say this was coming?I remember reading that somewhere and was surprised at the time but it was accurate
>>98698901This is like BSF or Cursed City. It's not actually meant to be played. People buy it for the cool minis and don't mind paying a cardboard tax on top of that.
>>98694692It looks like the Dark Heresy system. The entire character sheet looks like it.
>>98698973If it didn't come with a big 224-page Core Rulebook, I would agree that this was meant to be a board like those new Warhammer Quest games basically, but this feels more like a system which can be expanded on at a later date
>>98694692The more I think about this the more potential I see in it, expansions could help bring out more kits and even flesh out a few of the gangs by making it about them. Imagine a malstrain or a corpse grinder set, it would help with sales of the npc factions if you could use them for a rpg
New bloodbowl team but it's stunty so who cares
>>98698901I had the same thought upon seeing the scum. They look good and they make sense, but they made me think about Scavvies, and it could have been a fun way to soft-launch them.>>98699075Yeah, I’m betting the first expansion will have a Van Saar, a Cawdor, and a Delaque character kit, along with maybe a clanless one to round it to four. Maybe some new enemies and a bossfight thing too. I’m imagining a session thats just Predator with a Malcadon Spyrer.
Did anybody have any experience with homebrewing a Kill Team faction? I have idea for a homebrew of some obscure minor xeno Team, but I don't know how to get from "vage idea" to something actually playable..
If GW resurrected Battlefleet Gothic with the same rules as the old days, but with models sized similar to Star Wars Armada (where a star destroyer is ~8 inches long), would it be more successful?
>>98700185They'll definitely make them bigger. The game won't work as well with giant ships, but they'll do it anyway.I can't see players accepting a gunnery table these days, though.
>>98697842>Neo-puritanism is a mental illness.Puritans have been given a bad rap they don't deserve. It's Quakers that caused the original 'think of the children!' censorship crisis in media. Yes, the so-called "free love" "enlightened" "forward-thinking" cult that has spent the last century demonizing Puritans through the media while being worse than them in every conceivable way. So call it what it is: Quakerism.
>>98700338>I can't see players accepting a gunnery table these days, though.Oh boy I can't wait for ship weaponry to be as simplified as vehicle weapons are in 40k
>>98700185The models were that big. I have a battleship and it's huge. And heavy too I have no idea how the dinky little standee base can support it
>>98699190I like ‘em.>goblins who won’t fucking leave players alone with Taunt/Shadowing>Cave Squigs getting in nasty chomps to set up for Wranglers to crack into them>squig riders barreling down the pitchWhat’s not to love? It’s a Stunty Blood Bowl team.
>>98699190>>98701778That's not a new team, it's been in secret league for over a decade.
>>98693499Least the art is sexy
>>98693499>>98697842>>98700491not super related to this but I saw an ig real where some aging roastie was mad as fuck zoomer roasties weren't massive whores like millennial roasties and that she wanted zoom zoom roasties to get trains run on them to fight>puritanical cultureand what I assume was Christianity though she didn't outright say Christianity keep in mind something insane like 1/3rd of millennial women are taking mind altering drugs prescribed by their mental health doctors. IDK if it's just anti depressants but the use rate is insane for roasties and it's all their doing>>98701778no one plays stunties. I think I've played vs snots like once ever. >>98701792muh fanfict teams
>>98700545The gunnery table was basically a table showing the results of 4+ die rolls with modifiers for facings. It worked well, but it wasn't something you could memorize. I genuinely don't know what the best approach would be if they redid BFG.
>>98698440Wargaming for ants?
Newfag here.Recently got into mini painting. Painted the Ork starter box. I'm interested in Necromunda and plan to get this Escher box. Do you have recommendations for a list of paints to get them to somewhat look like the box art, see there are many paints and variations of the same color on the market wondering if you have pointers for which are some specific good picks for this? Doesn't need to be exhaustive for every detail just which ones are nice for doing the vibrant hairs and armor/cothes and skin (doesn't even have to be a variety can paint em mostly caucasian looking with a few tanned)? Oh and doesn't have to be citadel if you don't have experience with those.ATM just have these:– 1 Abaddon Black (Base)– 1 Orruk Flesh (Base)– 1 Runelord Brass (Base)– 1 Leadbelcher (Base)– 1 Zandri Dust (Base)– 1 Wraithbone (Base)– 1 Mephiston Red (Base)– 1 Mournfang Brown (Base)– 1 Dawnstone (Layer)– 1 Agrax Earthshade (Shade)– 1 Armageddon Dust (Texture)
>>98703409Just going off of citadel, I’d at least pick up averland sunset+yriel yellow for the armor, and then bugmans+cadian fleshtone for the skin. Maybe cassandora yellow and riekland fleshshade for shades for those two, but you might be able to get away with doing everything with agrax if you don’t mind em looking dirty.
>>98702515Look it's the prodigal corpo-cultist
>>98703409samefagSaw this in 40kg, would getting something like basic color sets be enough for that look with mixing?
Anyone found copies of the new journals for necromunda
>>98702800Sometimes the only way to reasonably cover the many possible results of hitting a large ship, the systems you could damage, etc. is a table. As much as it may seem to slow things down, if you were to try to abstract that too much you'd remove all the fun of autistic spaceship war simulation.
>>98703716GW used photoshop to edit color all their pictures, so your results would definitely never look like GW even though you use the exact same colors GW told you. I think you just use whatever brand that you like and make a "close enough" paint job for the color, what you need to learn is how to control your brush, thin your paint to have a smooth surface with no brush marks.Once you're familiar with brush painting, you should move to air brushing, learn to mix color and you'll be able to copy any color you can see, and air brushing gives super smooth surface too. It sounds pretty complicated but air brushing isn't that hard, tutorials are everywhere.
>>98703615what are you talking about, retardo?
>>98703409Man, I can't read GW paint names anymore. But I'd say you need more layer paints for best results, especially for bright colors. And recently I've found that Pro Acryl paints are better as base paints than GW's. They've very pigment-rich. Vallejo paints are perfectly fine, but more in the layering role.
>>98694692huh some of the models liek the Cadaver Merchant and Tech Scabber are just plastic versions of resin modelsWonder if that means those Resin models will go away
>>98705426That's the trend... resin's too labor-intensive.
>>98704378Figure it out smoothbrain
>>98706976nah, I'm not going to bother with your retarded esl drivel, homo
>>98707028>12 hours later>immediate responseHoly fucking nogames, you just live ITT, don't you?
>>98707049I play blood bowl you third world tranny retard and I just happen to be on now, homo
>>98707174Sure thing, nogames.
https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/fxaqz1ut/new-mordortm-orcs-revealed/
new MESBG models this time Morder Orcs also seems to be coming with a new book about Battle Companies>https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/fxaqz1ut/new-mordortm-orcs-revealed/
>>98708539Don’t play this game, but these look very good.
>>98708539I don't play the new edition so I don't care about the book, but I'll definitely take new orcs. New Gondorians soon?
>>98708539looks like meat's back on the menu, boys
>>98708539Nice to see some new support for lotr. >>98701778>>98701792I am wondering how different the team will be from secret league. Two fanatics without secret weapon is pretty funny though.
>>98708539I was smart enough to make a casual Moria force for demonstration games and there's minis aplenty on the secondhand market so they're cheap as chips. I was dumb enough to make a casual khazad dum force to oppose them and there's shit all of those on the secondhand market so they might as well be made of gold.
Havent played BB since last edition and wondering should I jump in with black orcs? Before I used Chaos, Khorne, Elf Union amd Humans. I have tried Black Orcs with little success but now I am interested in trying them again. How are they in BB2025?
>>98710871Yeah, they're fun. Maybe too slow if your group regularly plays Sevens, though. Mine has.Getting a troll to throw goblins is fun but I've only had success using thrown goblins as a weapon, rather than a ball delivery system.
How do you guys fill in the slottabases a lot of Blood Bowl teams still come with? Feels like a big gap for my usual gap filling techniques.
>>98712249Cut the sprue and put it in.
>>98709971>Two fanatics without secret weapon is pretty funny though.Clan Pestilens is one of my favourite secret league rosters.
>>98712249I don't, Blood Bowl is best suited for square bases, it makes the distinction between prone/stunned stupid simple when most models are posed so that doing that with a round base is retarded. Also the game is played on a grid?! It's literal toddler level stupidity to jam a round peg into a square hole for fuck's sake.
>>98712249Piece of plasticard with an icing of sprue goo to erase any seams. You could get away with using just sprue goo, or chunks of sprue + sprue goo, etc.
>>98708482nah, you're just an angry dickless fat ESL troon that no one wants to play with, fatso
>>98710871they're like lizards but bad. they can out bash a lot of teams but they're so fucking slow they have a hard problem winning if they don't pitch clear the other teamyou also have to deal with higher variance both in terms of needing removals and the other team is going to one dice you
>>98708539k now just need plastic Sauron and new Last Alliance sculpts
>>98712802Isn't that toxic as fuck when doing it?
>>98700185I think the ship sizes are quite good. But i dont think it would be more successfull than the first time.
Any leaks for how much Necromunda RPG will cost?
>>98714000No, we could probably guess based on other products GW makes, like the Core set for Necromunda, which is £98.00 and has 16 models and 5 pieces of terrain, plastic tokens, along whith Core Rules, Dice, cards, a ruler and templates that it might be lower than that since this RPG box will have slightly less plastic and not come with Rulers or terrian ect, just models, Dice and paper rulesBB start set is £88, so I would guess it somewhere between those two price points The book on its own will be something like £46.50 or £33.50 depending on its size
>>98701102It really is magic. Two battleships, one snapped two times, the other never. I guess it is luck how the stand was produced and how good you glued the ship onto it?>>98702800>>98700338>>98700545Whats wrong with the gunnery table? It is easy to look up on your game page. The only thing i can think of is that you get a dice number in the profile, than discharge one dice for every 5 cm/5 inch.
>>98703804I would say whats the difference between a weapon battery and a lance in the end? There is no tactic in moving your ships but how much you believe in your luck. I mean many dices that attacks armor versus few dices but a better luck.
>>98694692>unsanctioned psycaneryHeh
>>98705426They're actually completely new sculpts
>>98715971The Cadaver Merchant is just the resin one but mirrored
>>98715981Image of the "new" model
>>98715985GW's latest trick is something any jackass with a printer can do?Sad.
the scabber seems a bit more different, like he has different items in his coat, but the general figure is the same
>>98716005here the new plastic oneThe Heratek is also kinda similar but has more differences than the Cadaver merchant and the tech scabber
>>98715996Most of the resin necromunda sculpts were decent and people is fine with them copying it 90%. And then you had the other time when they try to make complete new sculpt for plastic release and it looks dogshit, like the plastic ammo jack being changed into Big Bertha, plastic Sum Kroc being changed into retarded kroc...
>>98716046at least GW kept some of the Resin models for sale, like Rogue Doc and Gang Look-out
>>98716063The rogue doctor on cults for free is better.Reminds me an Ulanti courrier on cults is a 1:1 for the art in the book, got her waiting for paint with a thicc callidus as mirrormask
>>98716092There will probably be a better Ophelia Skar too. The Necromunda Roleplay hero squad is a travesty except for the Squat.
>>98716155At least in the RPG, you can make your characters, unlike the recent Warhammer Quest your not tied down to the Dramatis Personae
>>98716167Make your own characters*Do wonder what the alternative builds for those PC models will be though
>>98716174Retards at GW are too obssessed with "muh lore" and treated these warhammer quest games like some grand narrative events that do not allow your OC in it, kek.Silver Tower is close to have a custom hero creation but that never happen, probably because GW didn't want to pay the freelance writer.
You motherfucks promised me new Corpse Grinder Cultists D:<
>>98716305sorry anon poeple forgot that a leaker seid we were getting a Necromunda RPG first
>>98716317>firstSo... there's still hope?
>>98716323You already got Khorne Bloodbound and World Eater as your generic khorne dude proxy :^)
>>98716016>BIX SCROOD
>>98716323Maybe I honestly i can't remember what else this leaker said, but the Necromunda RPG thing sprang back to mind when they showed it off on Friday
>>98712249Any sort of putty like spackle or dollar store clay will do, its not structural or holding the model in place and you're covering it with whatever you're basing material of choice is.
>>98712808>the projectionI would say I'm sorry to hear about your problems, but I'm really not.
>>98712802This is a good idea. Sprue parts cut in size that fits than fill the gaps.
