I will not stop using that image editionPrevious Thread: >>98783794Pastebin: https://pastebin.com/h8Tz2ze8Somewhat dusty survey results: https://pastebin.com/scAkFdTvTQ:>It's that time again, anon. Confess your /bg/ sins and be
>>98828320I wish people played Go here.
>>98828320>TQ:>>It's that time again, anon. Confess your /bg/ sins and beMy three most played games, excluding fillers, contain player elimination>>98828340I play TTD and that's enough Go for me.
Asking again because I missed that the other thread was dead >>98828246
We are so FUCKING back, gamers
>>98828320>I will not use a thread title edition bruh >Confess your /bg/ sins and be and be what you double baka? Anyone have experience with OGRE? Looking for scifi 2 player games with hexes and medium engagement, not Battletech levels of detail. Neuroshima Hex is okay but not quite hitting the wargame itch, the logic puzzle aspect is fun but something more simulation is appealing.
>>98828564Nonconfessors will cease to be. OP will see to this.
>>98828657OP can't even see to copy pasting a thread title.
>>98828340I used to play but it loses some luster when you realize you can literally never git gud
>>98828564how about Talon?
>>98828384Durrrrrrrrrr
>>98828564Goddamn you are correct, my apologiesIt's the fucking 300 seconds waiting time that paradoxically makes me sloppy
>>98828320>ConfessWhen I find out that I can not ever have a complete version of a title I enjoy (all expansions, add-ons, and accessories), I immediately believe the game is shit and the game's publisher is shit, and the game's designers are shit no matter how good the base game may be.
>two more captains chairs incomingI am upset it's already having 5 boxes of content planned out while Imperium is done. I'd live to see more civilizations, but no it's Worfing time instead.
>>98827062Worker placement isn't interactive either.
>>98828340During my Chinese classes, I had the chance to play Go once per week for a whole year, I've decided to not play it ever again in my whole life.
>>98829028Now tell us about playing Shogi in your Japanese classes.
>>98828340I do, but i play the superior version called Tash-kalar
>>98828472But we never left.
>>98829035Unironically, I would enjoy more Shoji. I hate Go with a passion.
>>98828802Its okay everyone derps. You must now commit sudoku. >>98828714>TalonI want this but its going to be a hard sell to the wife. Thanks for the recommendation anon.
>>98828340GoCaine is the only Go i'll ever play.
>>98828564Ogre is fine for a series of microgames, but you can also take a look at Undaunted and/or Commands&Colors/Memoir '44, they also scratch the wargame itch with minimal old design residue of Ogre. Doesn't mean they dont have their own problems though, Undaunted can turn into a stallfest and M44 is almost all about getting the good action cards from the shared deck. But I still like them and prefer them over Ogre.
>>98828964Yeah it's kinda discouraging. I really like the basegame but the flood of expansions gives me mtg ptsd, especially because the common decks aren't really mix and match. And while I don't dogmatically hate nuTrek I am neither interested in watching them with my very limited time, nor am I keen on playing these meme captains
>>98828320>TQ1 is my favorite number of players
>>98828564>keep hearing about this OGRE>always assume it's some kind of ultra wargame and OGRE is an abbreviation>it's actually a literal ogre and the game is one player controlling an army vs an ogrethere is no way in hell this is actually good
A game where you roll like 10 dice but everyone always gets the numbers they want but you also get what you want and everyone else rolls like shit but it still seems like they're beating you but then you win because you rolled like a champ and put the dice where they need to go.Is that so much to ask for? It's all I want.
