https://imgchest.com/p/na7konjjwy8Next verse, same as the first>Experiment 1: Talent DiscountMaking a builds where your talent rating in one aura type provides a discount. This is to make basic techniques cheap, master techniques slightly less ecpensive, and leave legend techniques largely the same.Compare your "G" rating to the rating required for a technique, if you G rating is higher it subtracts it's value from the point cost.Example:Seismic Strike costs 6 points to buy.Your build has G3 in Core.Seismic Strike only requires G1.Seismic Strike now only costs 3 points for you.>Experiment 2: Aura Burst ModeKufoku mentions you'll be able to Double your points after completing an Aura Burst campaign, so why not make builds for that?Make a standard build for your freshly summoned conscript, then making Another build for your conscript after completing all their campaign missions. The second build gets build and equipment points equal to their starting "Potential"(45 for talented, 35 for mutated, etc). They get no bonus alterations.Given how the "Prodigy" alteration works,, double these bonus points points for your second build, but equipment points are not doubled>Experiment #3The Aura costs of techniques is reduced by taking Training. Each training reduces a specific category of techniqued by 1 star at initiate, 2 stars at master, and 3 stars at legend. The category of Techniques a Training effects are specific.Skill Training can reduce aura cost for a techniques below 1, but doesn't make a technique free. Techniques with on aura cost below 1 have a cost from 0.75 to 0.25 of one star
>>98834082Example list of aura discounts(not exhaustive)>Martial Arts training affects Martial Arts, but not Weapon Arts or Improvization Arts>Weaponry training affects Weapon Arts, but not Martial Arts or Improvization Arts>Cultivation Affects Conduction Modes and States>Technique Artistry affects Spent aura on any technique, but not Devoted aura>Acrobatics affects Phase Release Techniques on physical stats, but not Martial, Weapon, or Improvisation Arts>Athletics affects Core Release Techniques that boost physical stats, but not Martial, Weapon, or Improvisation Arts>Ceremony Boosts blessings and curses or summoning techniques used on spirits, but not creation or summoning of chimera, angels, demons, abyssal lords, etc.>Scholarship can boost a variety of techniques, but only if they're relevant to the study. Medicine would affect chimera creation/summoning, healing/poison, or conduction modes for plants/fungi/flesh/blood.>Deceit affects phase illusions, body sigils, and altering techniques>Tinkering affects creation of physical objects with alchemy, conduction modes, or series technique

>>98834387I am playing this as if taking too much power is a trap option as many of the Demon Impacts could really screw you over and I don’t want to be reliant on say the Demon Spirit Binding to enable me to use me to use my eyes effectively with weakened, power limiter, or even Appeasement when I need to use them quickly, and becoming an embodiment of a sin is no good either. I am risking Split Personality and it will be what I use the wrap on most of the time (but I assume it won’t overheat since it doesn’t activate often). I get power copying with it and given time I can reach a much stronger position without having gimped myself. It also synergizes amazingly with a full team as I could do things like trade “xp” with the Gamer Girl or copy the powers of the Princess’s Summons (to all of our benefit). That’s not the core gimmick though. The core gimmick is the Demon Vault Eye which is infinite item storage and item duping. I would usually go melee (especially in a setting like this), but this has insane potential for a gun build (although if I can steal some auras I might do both). I can pull out a minigun at a moments notice and since I can duplicate common normal items, I have Infinite Ammo. The other eyes and my auras contribute to going ranged as well, and with the Yakuza Son, Machinist, and Android I can get top notch gear. Of course I also have crazy versatility as I always have every supply you can think of and I could even do crazier stuff like steal a tank (or mecha I help machinist build) and drop it in the middle of a battle (it would definitely be the German guy that does this lol).

I think of this thread as a carousel of CYOAs. It should always display a variety of different ones, so that when the uninitiated stumble across it there's more for them to see and possibly latch onto. When I first found these threads, that was the case, and it's less and less so over the last decade. The discussion is of equal importance, but the typical volume of CYOA posting does not limit discussion, even accounting for one or two people dumping them. These all exist on the archive or could be linked to, but that eliminates a huge portion of their potential audience; most people won't go to that length for something they don't know or hear a lot about. I don't discriminate all that much in the ones I do post because somebody may really dig something I felt lukewarm toward

Icarus is the entity who founded the Watchers, the coalition of witches who have infiltrated all Abrahamic religions since the fourth century and can therefore be blamed for any moral grievance (You) have against any of them, while also secretly running entire clans of Human livestock to use as satanic blood sacrifice. The only moral oversight that he gives is handing the ten commandments to Outsider witches who defected back to his side, after forgiving any unspeakable travesties the new asset once committed. King Culicarius is the Diviner who left for the Moon in the seventh century to build a "post-scarcity utopia" on the compulsory slavery of all its inhabitants, while he continued using his divination abilities to study and plot the entire future of the Human race, which would have included the entire rise of an overtly satanic corporate hegemony from muggle stock and other foreseeable threats to humanity and the entire universe.

>>98835123Isn't it though?
>>98834614>contest theme poll based on materials? It could hypothetically work but I don't think it would actually work
>>98835124Being immutable to all forces would just sling you off the planet.
>>98835129Youdu isn't on a planet. Also that's not how relativity works.
>>98835123They don't have to wait an entire Kalpa though. ISS makes you immune to time and space fuckery too. If you use it to get out of a Spokeless Wheel you will just revert to normal time from your perspective.
I will personally open up an Infinite Inertia mercenary service to kill ISS users who stall too long.
>>98835136If you were already in the SCW, you'd just tie yourself to your current timeflow when you take the stance, and stay inside. You'd need to have ISS on before SCW hits you to ignore it the alternate time condition, but then you get no extra time.
>>98835121Technique Artisty+ISS+Master Status Distortion, would be really funny though.
>>98835145Overcomplicating it. It makes you immune to time distortion, it doesn't matter if you are already inside the wheel before you activate it, you would simply experience true time (a milisecond) when you entered it.
>>98835141That can work, but only if you can catch them when they shift stances. You are helpless before true stallgods.
>>98835153There's no such thing as true time under current physics, so by doing this you're importing a metaphysical true time that has no precedent in the CYOA.
>>98835154The wording of "-as if the user had done so." makes me think Infinite Inertia could turn off even mid stance ISS since the user is able to cancel it at anytime during it.
>>98835162>>98835154I've thought about this before and it's genuinely ambiguous. Specifically because the ISS user needs to move as part of interrupting the technique, and inertia can't force them to move. The intent is likely on the side of inertia despite this.
>>98835155There is actually such a thing as true time, it's just that the rate of incidence for events can be altered and said rate is inherent in all measurements, so true time would be unmeasurable
>>98835155Fine not aura fucked up time if you want to be pedantic. If a guy with ISS finds an actual black hole or something that creates an actual organic time difference you would be right, you are an autistic sperg for not understanding that obviously I meant phase time distortion and that "true time" was shorthand for not changed by a release technique.
>>98835162I think otherwise, but wouldn't be surprised if your interpretation turns out to be correct.

>>98835162It's quite literally an immovable object vs an unstoppable force dilemma and the names obviously reflect that PCA knew we would ask this.
>>98835177No, time is a spatial quantity, in that the meaning of time is that things must be similar in both space and time to trigger an interactionLike any other spatial quantity we could impose an arbitrary reference frame in which all things have a single sensible time component, and a single sensible space component, although the "Density" of time and space would not be constantBut there would still be a single co-ordinate time that would allow you to predict which two things could interact with eachother
>>98835177If you want to Sarte it go right ahead but immunity to "even the abstract effects of time and space" is obviously about Phase techniques you moronic matterfag.

From SCW: "Once completed, the area contained within this radius is entrapped in DILATED TIME for one Kalpa, or 4,320,000,000,000 years, over the span of the millisecond when the attack is completed." I should have said non-dilated time but obviously it exists.
>>98835227Under relativity, dilation is relative. Your own time is always the non-dilated one. If you're outside the SCW, the inside is dilated to move super slow from your perspective. If you're inside the SCW, the ourside is dilated to move super fast from your perspective.
