I really need to find a place to talk about warhammer that isn't full of people who complain when others want to have fun with warhammer. Unfortunately everyone on X posts more about meme lore or politics(ironically, the model owners seem to be even worse than the secondaries in this regard) and Reddit is... well, Reddit, and all the discords I'm in are dead or close to it. Oh well.

Update on >>98856912.
So I got a few practice games in and actually learned a lot.

Through testing I find the better arrangement is to put the assIntercessors into the repulsor, and have them get out the turn the repulsor moves. I originally put the Hellblasters and Infernus in the Repulsors so they can get within range and be protected from assaults, but it's better to put the Hellblasters in the rhino and just keep them back a bit, and use the Repulsor's charge protection for the assIntercessors. So they can get out, shoot, claim the objective, and if they get charged they hop inside and if they don't get charged then they say Assault doctrine and advance+charge something and gain the Lance bonus and their own charge bonus. The best part is that if they do get charged, that's ok, since you can charge the turn you disembark if the transport didn't move, which will be the case if the transport parks on the objective and they get inside during the opponent's charge phase.

I feel like the Repulsor is really good and I'm basically forming my list around them. The two vehicle detachments especially. I love all the synergies.

Really happy with this list and learning to play it better. Feels good. Hellblasters are crazy good.

I'll give a qrd on why 11th is so shit so bare with me

>leader of 10th quits halfway through
>he wanted a slower less lethal 40k
>gets replaced by head of AoS
>new leader wants a faster more killy 40k
>threw everything the old guy did in the trash
>11th comes around and game is still half baked
>have to ship an incomplete game
>James says fuck it and make things up as you go
>gamers get dripfed bare bones everything because the company and 11th ed itself is being made up as it goes along
>game balance goes to shit and the entire edition is completely reliant on codex releases that aren't even done being written until they release
>James moves points adjustments to digital only so they can buff and nerf as needed to duct tape this skeleton edition

so we are gonna be in for a bad time until hopefully 12th/13th ed as long as the director doesn't quit or be replaced

With guns on the end of arms you can at least feasibly get back up when your dumb ass falls over. The stormsurge ain't doing that (ignoring that the crew have been massively concussed by the firing of the main weapon due to it being open topped and likely thrown out after it flips over).

red pigments tend to have poor opacity, so to get a good clean coat (bright or otherwise) you want to be using a white, light grey, brown or red primer. black is honestly one of the worst undercoats someone can use, and is only beneficial when painting mostly in metallics, black, or really dark schemes in greens or blues. anything else you're just making things harder than they need to be.

some weirdos take pride in always using black primer, like a badge of honour for learning to paint back when there were only black and chalky white primers available, and all paints needed 3+ super thinned coats to accomplish anything.

i played a few games of 11th when it came out.

i understand the problem the terrain footprints are trying to solve, but fuck me are they ugly. kills the immersion as bad as scoring circles. they could have just as easily used a "within 1 inch of the terrain" rule instead of footprints.

the focus on competitive precision is making the artifice of the game too obvious.

also the new mission and scoring cross referencing disposition matrix is needlessly convoluted, and actions need to be removed from the game yesterday

It may just be because I've played a lot of editions where 6x4 was the norm.

>>
Yep that's one fine looking model
WHY DOESN'T MINE LOOK LIKE THAT
>>
>>98867304
It fucks with the competetive too.
With circles there was a choice to make - you either stood on a cirle or you staged behind the wall central wall. Now the staging point and the objective is one and the same.
There's such a load of terrain that gun range is not even a factor anymore. You pretty much cannot draw a line that's longer than 24, game is very skewed toward blobbing in the middle which heavily favors some armies over others.

And that's not even the biggest problem of 11th, the way the scoring works is completely fucked and makes denial-based strategies complete nonstarters.

i dont think i want to go back that far. on top of people losing models from their roster or entire armies disappearing from the game, there were things i really disliked about those older editions. the biggest one was thee way vehicle penetration was handled. i really hated having vehicles and dreadnoughts just popping like zits in a single shot. that was awful, it made vehicles feel terrible to the point where i actively avoided them until 8th edition.
>>
>>98867348
Honestly GW just need to completely rethink the gameplay loop rather than tinkering with a decades old rule set that started out as trying to make a war game from rogue trader.
Make it alternate activation and get rid of to wound rolls for a start. They're stuck with the impossible task of trying to represent the gamut of strength and toughness in 40k with a resolution of 10 and then try to resolve it with a D6. Weapons should have damage and models should have wounds; if you hit and they fail the save, deduct one from the other. You can now easily balance the entire game with wounds and armour representing toughness and resilience, and damage and AP representing strength and penetration.

Is it better than Vallejo game color? Because game color is very hit and miss.
>>
>>98867304
>they could have just as easily used a "within 1 inch of the terrain" rule instead of footprints.
the problem with that is you end up having to mandate specific kinds of terrain pieces and every board looks like the same dogshit L-shaped ruins board from 10th. footprints allow much more freedom with the terrain pieces you use, because the core rules interact just with the footprint. you can do a forest or a three story building and it'll still work for a fair game.
>>
If this vallejo talk keeps going you lot will summon the LE BUBBLES IN THE NEW FORMULA ECKS DEE spammer
>>
>>98867574
Vallejo True Metallics are great, you grab base/shade/highlight and just get away with it. Or skip the highlight and just use the base color again for cleaning up, I don't like edge highlighting on metallics as they're shiny as is.
>>98867585
The new game color formula is pretty runny, I'm using bright bronze and while I like it it tends to spill over to the sides unless you're being careful. The old one is rather goopy, not a big fan of it. But the new one covers really well.
>>
>>98867574
Scale 75
>>
>>98867578
They're way too fucking thin for me. They're designed for an airbrush. Putting them on by brush is just cbt.
>>
I like painting but also don't want to do it hyper autistically detailed
>>
>>98867609
After loading my brush I touch a paper towel with it to get it rid of extra moist, that way they're not as runny.
>>
>>98867611
okay
>>
>>98867614
Sure, but then you have way less paint on your brush to work with so you need to do that every 10 seconds.
You can make it work, sure, but to me they're not so much better that it'd be worth it for me to bother with the extra tedium.
Maybe it's worth it if you're a display painter or something, it's not for me.
>>
Thoughts on youtube painters?
>>
Vallejo Metal Colour are absolutely the best metals. If all you're doing is painting like bolter barrels and belt buckles it's probably overkill though. Scale75 and Vallejo True Metals also very very good and both are worth using. I think I prefer Scale 75 to True Metals but it's only a very minor difference and they have some different tones available. I wouldn't bother with anything else while these options are there.
>>
>>98867634
They are fine I guess. Still suffer from being slopfarms. But painting videos are the only warhammer content I won't make fun of you for consuming.
>>
>>98867643
What S75 metallics do you use? I'm in the market for some metallics myself, need a regular midtone silver. I got their gold and it's pretty good.
>>
>>98867643
I'm planning to paint a shit load of 'Crons and wardoggies, so I'll go with VMC,
>>
>>98867614
paper towels are too absorbent for me. tissue or even a normal piece of paper works better for removing the excess without drying out the brush.
>>
I THINK EONSOFBATTLE SUCKS
>>
>>98867650
thrash metal over a black metal base is a super shiny, slightly warm silver.
>>
How is Chaos Knights as a newfag army?
>>
>>98867650
I haven't used the S75 silvers honestly just because I haven't had a need to due to my other supplies of metals. My favourite S75 metals though are Decayed Metal, Peridot and Necro Gold. I use these constantly. The bronze/copper colours are really nice too but they don't really fit the paint schemes I tend to paint.
>>
>>98867671
knights aren't an army
>>
>>98867671
bad, dont pick knights as an army, especially for a new player.

pick A knight or a few wardogs and add them to a proper army like chaos marines.

trying to play the game with missions and objectives with like 4 models on the table ends up being incredibly feast/famine rock paper scissors where you will either auto win or auto lose depending on weather your opponent counters you or what the mission is, and you also wont learn how to properly play the game.
>>
>>98867671
Knights seem like a pretty shit starter army. You're effectively learning a to play a different game than 95% of other players and most general tips don't apply to you. But if that's the army you like the look of the most then absolutely get that one. CK armigers looks damn cool

>>98867611
That's fine, most people are just stoked to play against any fully painted army.
>>
>>98867684
>>98867671
also from a hobby perspective, a knight is a huge hobby project. even a simple paint scheme done to a basic tabletop standard can take weeks on a full size knight, they're a capstone model for a collection. trying to build an army out of a bunch of them is asking for burnout and being overwhelmed at the sheer scope of the project
>>
>>98867611
if you can manage to get everything base coated+shade and basing done, you are already ahead of 80% of the player base. save your effort for the character models or maybe like an elite bodyguard unit or big monster or ship, but dont sweat the details on basic infantry or bikers or whatever.
>>

Wouldn't it be fucked up if a Farseer had a vision that the only way to save her Craftworld from a major threat 100 years in the future was to cooperate with an Inquisitor, but that doing so would require lengthy spans of time with them that eventually lead to them developing romantic feelings for each other which neither are fully able to comprehend or act upon due to their respective stations, thereby emotionally scarring them both when they inevitably realize that they not only could never be together but can't even confide their feelings with others of their own kinds because of the forbidden nature of their could-have-been relationship?

The only reason I'm painting minis at all instead of being a secondary is because of the quality content out there for painting. I have ideas on how I want to paint things but not the time I used to have to spend hours and hours fiddling around in the dark. I can look up a few videos of what I want to achieve and see the different techniques people are using to achieve that result and adapt them for my own use. I'm still not painting nearly as good as these guys but the time I'm spending painting is actually productive from a simple hobby standpoint and from improving as an artist.

What actually is the future of White Dwarf?

It feels like a really odd product now, like since the Warhammer Community website exists they've made it like... this weird thing off to the side that doesn't really overlap with much, even the latest releases aren't the focus like in the bad times before it went in the 2010s.
>>
>>98868288
I’ve seen that frequently happen with warhammer and people switching to card games like pokemon and mtg, but for some other miniature wargame (especially when the replacement isn’t marvel crisis protocol, star wars legion and shatterpoint) it sounds really strange. where do you live?

>>
>>98868325
The community website has jack shit on it after they wiped out the old website which had tons of awesome articles. Not sure what they want to transition to, maybe a bunch of shitty youtube videos? Honestly what a sad, sad state of affairs.

The same as the print codexes
You buy it to say you have it as a collector's item because what actually matters from it is available otherwise online for free or is behind a separate subscription-based paywall

>Wtf are terminators then?
T6
>Wtf is the purpose of a heavy bolter?
To do more attacks
Heavy Bolters do 3 attacks and have Rapid Fire 2
Bolt Rifles do 2 attacks and have Rapid Fire 1
Both are S5AP-1
>is this the autocannon edition
No, because those don't do as many attacks as heavy bolters and you're very likely to run into an enemy with a coinflip invuln save so you're better off rolling more lower-power attacks than a few higher-power attacks to have a better chance of one of those attacks making it through and just hoping you can "chip damage" the enemy down.

Having lots of attacks is the meta and always will be the meta until GW changes how S and T work because as it stands now intercessors can expect to do 1-3 wounds to a Leman Russ with their S6 bolt rifle profile.
>>

>>98868485
MEQs are 2 wounds with a 3+ save, infantry toughness hasn't mattered much for years. Normal marines still die really easily to anything with 2 damage and some AP, and the T5 units are honestly some of the worst in the new book. Phobos stayed T4 and have much better rules for the same cost. Without an invulnerable save durability means nothing.
>>
>>98868508
huh? you've got like a week left. plenty of time for oils to dry.
>>
>>98868506
Those stats are literally out of the SM codex datasheets but okay
Bolt Rifle is as-written on the Intercessor sheet referencing the "saturation" profile when in the Heavy Bolter comparison and the "focused fire" profile when talking about chip damage into tanks.
Heavy Bolter is as-written on the Heavy Intercessor sheet.

Unless you're meming and saying that 11th edition isn't real.
>>
>>98868552
Intercessors are really bad it's funny how angry non-marine players were when that datasheet was first previewed. 10 shots (in rapid fire range) hitting on 3s, wounding on 5s and AP-1 against a tank with a 2+ save is almost not worth firing.
>>
It's somewhat tangential but things have taken a very bad turn for Total War Warhammer 40k.
Creative Assembly recently released an 'enhanced' version of an older game, Total War Shogun 2, which had been heavily outsourced and has been met with universally negative responses. This backlash has gone so far as to cause Creative Assembly to pull the game from storefronts, before issuing an apology and stating that an in-house effort is being made to create a properly enhanced version.
The problem is that this means resources are being taken from Total War Warhammer 40k to create the fix, and given Creative Assembly's schedule another game will likely begin full development before Total War 40k's release.
The good news is that most of the work for Space Marines, Orks, and Imperial Guard seems finished or in late development. All three factions have had extensive roster reveals and gameplay showcases.
The bad news is that Eldar hage seemingly not even begun proper development, and with the new timeframe and resource drain it seems unlikely that they will get anywhere near the polish of the other three factions. On top of this, there are still numerous other factions people are clamoring for as DLC, which the devs will likely be pivoting to shortly after release.
In short; Eldar are going to be an absolute mess of a faction that will be left unfinished and unpolished for what's likely to be years.

Everyone will know, yes, but the rules only allow for what they have written and having your boyz with shootas all count as shoota boyz is not only directly against the rules but, far more importantly, not a factor in balancing the unit when it comes to all the other factors like points and rules
You can and you should simply homebrew your way around it, but it's asking you to homebrew things that you bought the fucking codex to have done for you rather than something cool and unique like the exact stats of your walker's trouser cannon

I hope Starcraft gives GW the swift kick up the arse it needs. Its narrative focussed, affordable, equal or better quality, uses different coloured plastics for factions or energy so greytide does not exist and has alternating activations and a pass token people screamed about for in like 9th edition.

Its just deeply fucked that BLIZZARD of all people are the ones getting people to look away from 40k. Deeply ironic when you think about it.

It looks fucking pathetic. That isn't a wargame board, that's not even a Skirmish game board. Even 11th's shitty terrain footprints offer more than that.
>>
>>98869013
If you're not too squeamish/you possess a soul then looking at actual images or footage of bleeding helps teach you that the splatters you get on minis basically doesn't happen in reality
You need a lot more, or a lot less, blood to sell the illusion, and it needs to be fairly constrained - blood doesn't tend to explode out of living things when they're hit with blades or claws or teeth, it's more squirts and dribbles

>>
>>98869066

>>

Its to emulate the Lost Temple pvp map from Starcraft 1 you uncultured swine.
>>
>>98869066
>new game with promise comes out
>supply lines fuck up critical momentum
>once product is finally available again people have lost interest
Its Lorcana all over again.
>>
>>98869013
The best way to get a realistic splatter pattern is to make a real splatter pattern.
>set up backing that covers 3 sides, I use a cardboard box
>set model inside of backing box, set it towards its rear so you have more distance between you and the model
>get decent-sized brush (I'd avoid toothbrushes, but you do need the bristles to be a bit stiffer than normal paint brushes)
>put something like Tamiya clear red or Citadel Blood for the Blood God on the brush
>thumb the bristles towards the model with some force to cause the bristles to flick instead of bend
This flicks paint out of the brush onto the model (and the backing), and you will likely fuck up the brush trying this the first time (so use a shitty or beat-up brush). If you want splatter only on parts, same thing but put some masking over the parts of your model you want "clean."

I'm sure you can find a few videos talking about this method. I think there's even a Duncan Rhodes video from his time at GW about it.

To me it feels like Starcraft is what 40k wants to be right now, it feels much less clunky, the prices are better, and so far I've had really close games as opposed to one-sided stomps.
>>
>>98869066
It's working out at my LGS but my LGS has a competitive slant which is probably why it's caught on so nicely. Supply lines don't really matter if you're a 40k player and already put up with GW's nonsense.

That only holds true if the game has a model range with existing models or plentiful proxies like 40k
>>
>>98869136
More the level at which it's streamlined.
>>
>>98869140
The army I play in 40k only has like two or three actual datasheets that matter while the others are a waste of time and money, so it's not really that big of a difference to me.
>>
>>98869103
I'd kill for an alliance footmen box and some paladin/classic death knight heroes
A gorefiend or grom/garrosh model would be peak as well
>>
>>98869141
40k does not need even more streamlining, thats how we got to the sorry state its in today
>>
>Starcraft thread is so dead they have to come here to get attention
Go back to being miserable in your own general, blizzfags. Your game is dead and you're wasting your breath.
>>
>>98869150
Yet they're still trying and it's a miserable experience.
>>
>>98869141
I don't know why they haven't even tried to create a Spearhead version of 40k. Boarding Actions are abandoned and Combat Patrol isn't even half assed anymore. Kill-team has kind of died out since the new edition launch too as it's own game. Are they afraid of a small skirmish game version of 40k becoming more popular than big hammer and hemorrhaging sales or something?
>>
>>98869150
Starcraft streamlined the core rules to let players get more variety in the factions. So coming up Zerg gets infested Terrans, Terrans get Dominion and Protoss get the Taldarim.

Imagine if the choice during list building of which 'faction' you were from the codex felt like an actual faction. We used to have that in 40k but i want to say 7th was when they started to actively resent that level of hobbying over tournament waacfag shit that sold grey tide rental armies to those shitters. You should all remember the iron hands horseshit.
>>
>>98869157
Maybe? Kill Teams was perfectly set up as a small skirmish game even though it has a big narrative shaped hole in it; the funny part is that it has a lot of things that would do well in a more narrative game but they just cut it all out. GW just fucked it up: KT is dead in my area and it's really only competitive 40k that's going strong plus Starcraft for the time being.
>>
>>98869157
They haven't done it because they dont need to. 40k sells. AoS doesnt so they needed Spearhead to be good enough to get people to play it.

Like you said, the equivalent used to be Killteam. Last edition if someone was interested in 40k they could buy a box of troops from an army they're interested in, paint them up and play KT with them then transition to 40k. Now KT is a bloated mess that has no compendium teams.
>>
>>98869157
Because they don't need to. 40k is the best selling tabletop game by an obscene margin. Why bother adding something that would just waste a customer's time? Combat Patrol exist to be the sampler, new players can try that.
>>
>>98869162
Plus the boxes for a single KT team are over $100 here which can be prohibitive.
>>
>>98868288
My retarded ass LGS has had boxes sitting around for almost a decade and they refuse to mark them down on clearance, or even the standard 15-20%, so they'll just continue to rot.
>>
>>98869157
Its fucked up but most GW games are floundering right now.

The only game not in the shitter compared to a few years ago is The Old World of all fucking things. Turns out WHFB 9th edition was what the neckbeards wanted all along and Border Patrols is what Spearhead, Combat Patrol and Boarding Actions failed to be. An engaging first toe in the pool for beginners while allowing for a ton of variety and donut steel kitbashing for sickos.

Theres a reason GW's stock is devaluing rapidly for the first time since covid. Shits FUCKED.

NTA but it's gotten a constant stream of arcane journals, updated models, an entirely new army range, and theyve been reprinting long out of print WHFB BL books with the Old World branding. I think it's safe to say its at least doing better than GW predicted it would.
>>
>>98869219
Why would you want to hoard 200 guardsmen unless you're autistic and making like 3-4 individually themed lists for the same faction. Seems pretty silly mate, you could sell half and still have plenty of them
>>
>>98869213
The Old World is actually doing very well right now. A few years ago everyone was going "welp those orc and dorf battalions dont exist, they tried and failed, gg" and people assumed its dead.

But what they actually did was do a full culture shift around the game to /yourdudes/ bullshit instead. With Armies of Infamy that are stuff like an all slayer Dwarf army or all Minotaur beastman and over time have put out Arcane Journal booklets that add new rules and options for stuff like running Empire as a disgraced Border Prince with different list building rules. Not for competitions sake but for narratives.

Its proven to be very popular and people have commented how ironic it is that the Beastmen leaving AoS has seen AoS effectively flatline but Beastmen are one of the most popular armies in TOW and their heroes and monsters are often out of stock compared to the Empire and Orcs that surprisingly are popular but not nearly as popular as Beastmen and Undead.

Shit we are getting basic bitch Tomb King core battleline unit resculpts soon. I don't think anyone expected that a few years ago.
>>
>>98869206
Old Worlds way more popular at my locals than 40k is right now. You can get a Border Patrol box and have a 500-750pt army good to go. Thats the kind of shit that would have saved WHFB.
>>
>>98869241
If I had more money I'd go all in on getting to AoS just because I think the skeletons are cool.
>>
>>98869227
40kg hates to hear it but people owning multiple armies and various points over the game standard is very much the norm unless you're some snot nosed timmy who started yesterday. But this place is full of poorfags and secondaries so they took everyone is rocking 2000 points of one army and then sell and rebuy models because an edition favours infantry or transports for an edition.
>>
>>98869184
The shift from 2nd ed Epic, to the 3rd edition Epic 40K, changed the rules dramatically in ways the were catastrophic to the community and widely hated at the time. Sales did not do well and it became part the first specialist games wing.
It later got rebuilt and made into one of the better games GW has made and had a decent community in the 2010s, tournaments, etc. It still kicks around now as a cult classic.
2nd edition rules were clunky and detailed in the way 80s/90s gw was, which can be a lot of fun but is a specific taste.
3rd streamlined too hard, the rebuild Epic Armageddon solved the problems, added back in some complexity but still works well as a grand scale game. The rules are free and easy to find.
>>
>>98869215
That's how WHFB died at my LGS, people realized they had to buy and paint so many models for most armies that they just quit.
>>
Speaking of The Old World what do you guys think of its decision to set it in a period where their equivalent of the Eye of Terror has been closed and chaos is in massive decline?

It still has human chaos worshippers that are a huge problem but they are more the barbarian hordes of Conan than great sorcerers leading hordes of demons. Hell i dont think demons can currently manifest due to the closure of the rip at the top of the world. So with Chaos in decline for a few generations the barbarians worship different ideas of the ruinous powers like the hive gangers do on necromunda. For example the Chaos Marauders are longship sailing coastal slaver raiders that worship Nurgle as "The Carrion Crow" and all their iconography is sickly dead birds.

What if we got an edition where the eye closes and chaos looks to be gone, for a time, which could give them time to do the demon refresh they have clearly been ruminating on for years while letting chaos marines lean more into the violent privateers and obscure cult angles.
>>
>>98869239
because I'm basing my collection on those regiment organization charts you find in an imperial armour or in the codex. some platoons/units are also themed (like wearing gas masks) or are based on old codex units (like veterans/conscripts)
>>
>>98869265
That's how WHFB died everywhere yet there were still retards complaining that you didn't need to paint up blocks upon blocks of infantry to play Old World

>Kill Team: barely a game just exists to sell one unit for an army at a mark up now
This one hurts the most, it was the best, most fun and balanced game GW had, and suddenly they decided to legends half the game, some two year old models, break the balance so Space Marines could be a tier above everyone and...
wait a second, isn't that what happened to 40k too? I'm starting to think this was intentional.
>>
>>98869268

>deliberately forcing more armies towards a horde playstyle
Do the math on a 3-man of Aggressors at the new stat line shooting flamers into a 20-man of any t3 unit (guardsmen, etc).
Aggressors have
>3 attacks each at base
>but blast 2, so add 2 for every 5 models in the target model
>20/5=4, 4x2=8, 8+3=11, 11x3=33 total attacks
Those attacks autohit (via torrent), are s5ap-1 if within 9 inches of the target (they should be), have twin-linked to reroll, and those guardsmen save on 6+ in response.
This is a 90-point unit at t6w3.
GW isn't forcing people to a horde playstyle, they're forcing everyone into character and tankspam to deal with everything while still having enough toughness, wounds, invulns and FNPs to survive long enough against their "elite" opponents.
>>98869209
Harder to detail well vs. 40k scale models is what I meant.
>>
>>98869289
Yes and for a long time chaos has been in decline. The point of the great war was a return of chaos that saw it lead to the shithole state the world is in WHFB. Right now in TOW chaos is largely a folk tale to scare kids for most mortals. The only true sign being times when Morghur is alive because the amount of humans birthing Gavebeasts they abandon in the woods to be raised by maidengors is more than natural human births. But to be fair Morghur is some eldritch horror beyond chaos and is basically entropy incarnate so even breaks the rules about the waxing and waning of chaos.

Point is The Old World is before the way which is the equivalent of the 13th black crusade. Chaos exist right now, but hasn't been as activate as it will be in WHFB for generations. The focus is the warring mortal states for the most part.

I don't know what GW wants for us, it doesn't make sense.

Because its a powder keg building up to the opening act of the great war. But the actual plot of TOW right now is roughly:
>Dumbass bret grail knights robbed settras tomb of relics so hes razing the south west of the empire
>The Emperor is dead and three different counts are vieing for the throne
>Krawlmaw the beast prophet has forseen the earliest butterfly effect tipping points for the return of chaos and the end times and is stirring shit in the north
>Chaos barbarians are assaulting cathay from the north
>The Wood Elves are terrified Morghur has been reborn and fortifying
>Sylvania and the Under Empire both full north korean isolation as they are having their own civil wars
>Lizardmen not abroad because chaos is weak right now
>Elves doing fuck knows what to the west
>Dwarves don't like Orcs and are gettin' a bit racist about it
>Orcs don't like Dwarves and are gettin' a bit racist about it
>Cathay tried to bring a warpstone meteor down on the ogres who are highly resistant to chaos, irradiating the farmlands for generations while creating a giant maw shaped crater the ogres worship as a god, unifying them into tribes of sizes never seen before. Woops.
