Built the marine half of Armageddon to add to my army and been trying to add bits and flair throughout. After seeing my old paint jobs I decided to strip my army so these will all match. I also wanted to use this chance to do what I miss from older kits - give every sergeant and leader a back banner. I know banners are goofy in modern, but I love them. My question is did old devastator squad leaders get banners? I can't find any images in the 3rd and 4th edition codexes of DA and I don't remember my old devastators having a leader banner. I'm not sure if the new gravis units makes sense to have them. My reivers and eliminators definitely don't, but heavy weapon squads?
