I'm not really seeing the use case for base carnivores now that the game has been so comprehensively rapedIt's 10 more points to get a pulse rifle, free ignores cover, AP flamer or melta, two free dogs(which carnivores can't have at all anymore), and a marked target; the only thing carnivores have that farstalkers don't is the grenade launchersLike fuck man, if you're attaching a shaper then the 10 extra points already pays for itself by letting you skip the birdie HQ upgrade that adds ignore coverI GUESS you can take 20 in a blob, but then I could also just take two squads of farstalkers and sit them next to each other

Man, every time I am in a position to participate in the collage, it's some stupid prompt that requires me to fuck up my models in some way.How the fuck am I supposed to make some kind of joke or reference? All I have is what's left of my armageddon box.

Gave an honest crack at doing a magma sword. I'm happy for a first attempt at it. I do like the effect a lot though, I think it fits on Salamanders better than a normal blue glow I had been doing.

>>98920632I am mixed about a return of the quartermaster. It's a cult classic, but niche. I think GW sees it as too dark, and that's been "replaced" by the medic in the command squad. The krieg command squad is a mix of maybe 3 FW kits, same way the engineers and grenadiers were fused into one.If GW doesn't do it I'll make one myself with a krieger body, some death rider torso & head and a good amount of greenstuff. It's an easy kit for GW, but they're utterly retarded as of the last decade.>machariusAt the end of the day I'm sure there are good STL recreation of it, or it's gonna be an invitation for me to make a plasticard version with a bigger WW1 flare.>>98920626What's the problem here?

Thoughts on this ideaOrdos Xenos inquisitor with a focus on fighting tyranidsAmong his warband is a lobotomised genestealer, full of mechanical implants and neutralising devicesAppropriate and thematic or too impractical even for a radical inquisitor?
>>98920673I wasn't thinking of the pose, but that's true. GW loves "dynamic" poses, which look great on marketing/box art and impresses normalfags, but are also very samey and limiting, compared to the old style of posing that lend itself more to an actual wargame. I was thinking of the uniform & gear, which to me look like a great French-cavalry but 40k. I like that they take cues from jes goodwin's old imperial army sketches.Fairly sure FW had multiple kits for the death riders too, with different poses, or that was limited to infantry and HWT sections.
>>98920684if other radicals get to have daemonhosts, a OX inquisitor having a hivemindhost doesn't seem too out of the line
>>98920684Go crazy senpai, it's rad af and would be something a radical inquisitor would do.
If I want cheap garbage to go on a point and either sit on it or force my opponent to commit resources to taking it from me should I use rangers or skyreavers? Both are just kind of disposable losers who are priced to die.
>>98920724i havn't build a list in a big while, why are battle line and infantry a thing instead of just troops?
>>98920397Widdlyscuds
>>98920397
>>98920724I prefer rangers for the reactive move and having a long enough range that if you stick them on the second floor of an objective building they can still get some work done with shooting. always having stealth is a plus as well for keeping them alive a while longer with -1 to hit and another -1 to BS if they're in cover which of course they always should be.>>98920806battlelinetroop choices, basic books you take a lot of to serve as chaff or objective holders. Stuff like basic marines, necron warriors, boys.>infantryelite choices, hard hitters or specialized guys. terminators, aspect warriors, battlesuits.
>>98920806battleline only exists out of tradition at this point. every army is supposed to have a signature grunt unit, that in the bad old days you were required to take because it was the only plastic kit they made and they had to sell a lot of them to recoup the investment. now that's pointless as the business has grown so much and GW graciously lets us build different styles of armies instead of just a grunt core with elite and armour support.but middle aged men would complain if there wasn't something special about their grunts, so "battleline" exists. they usually have a magic powr related to objectives or actions, or just more OC for an arbitrary reason. they should all just be infantry as you say.
*six weeks of silence*
>>98920829Do rangers of sky reavers have similar rules to Intercessors where they can perform an action and still shoot?
>>98920859I'm glad someone brought up the troop tax, because I've been thinking about this: the troop tax has basically been replaced with the action monkey tax. You still have to pick dogshit units that don't do anything to activate your video game buttons. Only difference now is that they're more expensive.
>vect>kruellagh>rakarth>kheradruakh>archsybarite>trueborn kabal>raven fighter>grotesques>demilune>tantalus>beastmaster+beasts>court of the archonneed refresh
>>98920889>action monkey taxThe problem with this is back to lethalityYou don't need action monkeys if you can just table your opponent by turn 2 or 3; you can just do all your secondaries unopposed with the rest of your army in turns 4 and 5The only reason I bring tech priests in my 13 tank guard list is to keep my tanks alive for longer so I can play more aggressively with them to kill my opponent faster, and then just drive around in those final 2 turns maxing my score on secondaries.
>>98920829Just a heads up the stealth rule gives the unit the benefit of cover so it doesn’t stack an additional -1 to hit. But the 5++ that they have against ranged attacks does help keep them alive as well. So you’re probably not wrong to throw them on objectives.
Serious question, how the fuck do I handle someone who brings 2 fucking riptides in a 1k point game? I play orks btw.
>>98920920Let's ask Grail-kun

Almost done with the Night Lords Omnibus, I very much enjoyed it. I like that they're not generic Space Marines and mostly don't even try to be sympathetic. So far I've read Eisenhorn, Ravenor, some Gaunt's Ghosts and the Dark Coil Omnibuses (omnibi?), any recommendations for my next read? I prefer the longer ones.
>>98921070ill keep saying Firewarrior forever.Best 40k novel
>>98920998More or less, there is a limit of 3 units, so you can only have 3 copies of each squad and with some units you pay more for each copy, battleline units aren't affected. You also need at least one character to be your warlord. If you ask me the increase in cost should be higher for bigger stat checks.
>>98921073the build up to shas'la going blood for the blood god was pretty good for a game novelization

It's worth checking out, at least the first omnibus, then decide whether you want more of it, or take a break into more serious stuff. Also if you enjoyed Night Lords you might get into other ADB's stuff. >>98921376Noted, but is it *that* much worse than a Galatus? +1T +2W, and -1D from ranged vs. -1 to wound from S11+. Hell, a pair of Russes is the same T, and twice as many wounds across 2 models.
>>98921268Its dow 3 concept model
>>98921397>pair of RussesIf someone brings two Russes for 1000 points (again, without giving a warning and going "I'm going vehicle heavy pack some meltas or something") then it's also expected that the opponent might refuse the game.
>>98921393>Did you magnetize the forgefiend? No, I wasn't planning on it because I have no plans to run the minigun option on it. I noticed the sprue only came with one set of these exhaust pipes, so I think I'd end up greenstuffing the pipes on the miniguns if I ever went that route.
I wasnt going to paint todayend up painting anyway
>>98921403damn, dawn of war 3 was a fuckup in every way huh.
>>98921374Honestly it probably is psycho behaviour but it's how I've done models because I go crazy if I see parts that I can't reach with a brush. Mind you, you have to be exceptionally careful when gluing it together or else you can ruin parts of what you've painted.
>>98921397yes, also emissaries is also bait because anyone worth their shit in melee has fallback and charge which notably you don't get so your FF gets wasted. Its cool if you still want it but something like Solar Watch where you get the fallback and extra movement on katah helps the dread get in the first place. Also why agent sobs over proxying them up as SoS?As to why telemon is more of a dick move is the native 4++, more wounds, faster, more and stronger attacks and 90% of the time flat 5+++ is better than D5 fist (you only really need that against deathwatch knight termies). Bro is a knight-sized threat (altho I had it killed once by a lucky carnivore wardog rolling like a god)

>>98921434horus heresy sculpts are often repeats, so it didn’t cost as much to make, and also horus heresy is way less popular, so they’re trying to get people to buy into it by making good deals.
>>98921434the 40K ones generally aren’t THAT bad. the blood angels one is just particular awful because GW has decided Blood Angels must suffer.
>>98921407Huh, I appreciate the yardstick. I always felt that 4-5 tanks, then we'd have words, but something like 2 Russes or a Land Raider was fairly kosher at 1k. I'll make sure to let folks know.Is the Multi-Melta the best option for the Immolator? Should succeed in stripping cover for the Sisters' Meltas 75% of the time barring modifiers, but the Flamers do it 100% of the time and can wipe out screening squads.
>>98921434GW knows people will buy it.
AdMech can't currently take knights natively? Since when?
>>98921459since GW decided admech must suffer even more than blood angels.
>>98921459Because GW fucking hates admech, and somehow the house Taranis knights don't get benefits from being with a mara forge worldOh wait they got rid of forge worlds
>>98921474>mfw a $255 battleforce for $300 of ad mech models would barely break above 500 points

I think 40k would benefit a lot from a game mode like battle march in TOW. No combat patrol doesn't count cause it has locked lists.

>>98921449>ImmolatorFlamers are a 100% chance of stripping cover and it doesn't matter if you do damage, just that you got a hit. Flamers auto-hit, so a flamer automatically removes cover from whatever you shot. I have yet to see the benefits of the alternate weapons on Immolators despite trying quite frequently. Also the "wipe out screening squads" thing, flamers on the Immolator are a good way to keep the enemy from charging your Dominions that just got out of the Immolator.
>>98921431Emissaries gets me Fall Back/Advance + Action for scoring which is where I figure I'm weakest. Also, is the Fall back + Charge ability native for many units? I feel like it's mostly a Strategem, so forcing them to drain CP or just get instagibbed seems okay. Although I suppose I'm also hoping that combats don't go more than 1 round...Sorta related: Can I use the Selfless Service Strategem in my opponent's End of Charge Phase before they actually perform their charge move? I assume not.If I was gonna switch Detachments I think the best option would be to something that gets me the Purge the Foe Disposition, Take and Hold is okay but Purge seems like it would be a fairly huge improvement.Native 4+ is that good hey? >>98921541Yeah, exactly my thoughts. I had a REALLY sick idea but I need some help executing it. So, I was thinking of ways that I could have my eldar hover vehicles have a balljoin at the connection to the flight stand (I'm going to use a tall tactical rock for my venoms). Are there are ball joints that I can snap in and out that will allow me to pose it in different action angles and will hold the weight of the model? I want to be able to bend them as they move to show them drifting and angling as they fly so it makes them look fast.
>>98921658>I need anti-tank in my custodes list>I'll bring a 10-model 110-point t3w1 unit with 1 melta, 1 multi-melta and 1 inferno pistol>and give them a 105-point transport that requires the squad to be split in 2I mean, if you want to go for it but it is very far from what I'd suggest to do in this situationMeltas are an anti-elite (ie terminators) weapon now anyway, s9 doesn't play well into t11 and above. For 5 points more than your SoB squad and Immolator you can bring 2 Vertus Praetors that each have s10ap-2 guns that do 2 attacks each of d3+2 damage. For 10 points more you can bring a Coronus Grav-CarrierFor 80 points less than your SoB units you can bring a Pallas Grav-Attack with 2 options for 2 attack s10 weapons

List building in the new Custodes codex sucks ass. There's almost nothing between a 50point Sisters unit and a 250 point anything else. You can get a Pallas for 135, but that's not a clean multiple of 50/60 or 250. This codex is such a fucking pain, there's like 4 good datasheets for their points in the entire codex.
>>98922053i mean you tried at least
>>98922019>skirmish gameConsidering prices, the entire industry seems to be moving in that direction, even 40k to a lesser degree (see: Custodes going to 3 per instead of 5, "making marines more elite," etc). Getting more people in the door is one approach to market reach, and they can do that more effectively with skirmish-scale games than line battle games like 40k.This scale difference also isn't really a thing in historicals.>GW bootleg designs>most generic designs known to manHow many of these alternatives are actually trying to sell a product instead of using some shitty rules as plausible deniability to sell proxy models for 40k?Historicals and AltHis games don't fall here either, and there's quite a few of those for different eras; this does introduce the "target audience" question though. Sci-fi and fantasy players won't necessarily want to play a Napoleonic Wars game. However I will say that there's only so many ways to make a Panther tank or a Roman legionnaire, so these suffer from that limitation instead when it comes to design.>Plus after 40 fucking years none of the new games have the sheer size and variety that GW offersThis is called "industry momentum and all the extremity problems that come from it"Thank you for repeating what I said back to me
>>98922069At least one of those good datasheets is the sisters. They're fucking cracked for their cost.
>>98922069Welcome to every list build everNo clean numbers, always a few left over unless you sit there and math out 5 point increments.>like 4 good datasheets for their points in the codexSoS are genuinely probably the best t3 unit in the entire game, anyone else would be ecstatic to have that. Something something skewed perspective
>>98921995the biggest issue is that GW has used its incredibly well funded legal team to globally suppress competitors with threats of lawfare.its not a natural lack of competition from other potential competitors being uninterested in entering the market, its GW bandying about its legal department like a cudgel to threaten and silence the entire fantasy and scifi tabletop market. you cant even discuss their rules without threat of action. warseer forums famously used to have to ban posting of actual rules even just in chat referencing them because GW would patrol the forums and issue C&D if people posted actual statlines. they're a fucking horrible company thats artificially monopolizing an entire marketspace by force and for whatever reason UK law isnt touching them (not surprising given that UK law basically exists to serve mafioso corpostates and investor laundering vehicles like real estate).
>>98922089There are legitimate equivalents in other factions that cost 15-18 points per model and they are priced at 10. They're only balanced out by the fact that the rest of the codex might be a little bit overpriced and their steep discount makes it not hurt so much to rely on chaff to get anything done in a 9 activations army.
>>98922073>making marines more eliteYeah well see how that went. But in any case no, this isn't a recent trend. There hasn't been a single non-skirmish game released as real competition to 40k besides Warmahordes and now Starcraft apparently.
>>98922106>the biggest issue is that GW has used its incredibly well funded legal team to globally suppress competitors with threats of lawfare.Do they outside of very clear IP infringement?

You will still be an insufferable shithead if we allowed you in.And don't even try the "oh I've changed for the better I swear" shtick, we've all seen just how trustworthy your assurances are a million times by now.
Terminators always scare me in game regardless of how good my army is at dealing with them, especially 10 man bricks with a character
>>98922856>the 110th wheeled combat regiment from the roundion system>20,000 years ago the emperor (supposedly) visited the planet personally (this is true according to our holy books) and was accidentally hit by a tracked vehicle >the emperor was unhurt (do not question how a driver drove past 100 custodes without being stopped and was blind to a 20-foot tall golden god) but the planet has cast off tracked vehicles forever as a result>as penance for this sin, the wheeled combat regiment only uses wheeled vehicles for all combat and logistical purposes
>>98922835>no cringe picsIt's absolutely crazy he can't stick to this one simple guideline. He knows the gifs piss us off, and one would think that if you want to get a group of people to like you it makes sense to put some amount of effort in to not do things that annoy them. Yet he just doesnt give a flying fuck and does it anyway?>>98922839>hobbylet NEEDS daddy GW to give him wheelsPeople have been slapping wheels onto tauroxes since that kit was released, and I'm sure someone out there's done a wheeled chinera kitbash. Just do it yerself, kid, it's half the fun of hobbying.
>>98922839You can find any number of wheel conversion parts online for the IG vehicle hulls, if you do desire. Even GW publications have showcased wheeled variants of their vehicles. Some people have even unlooted Ork trukks back into Imperial service.
Having just played into salamanders I can confidently say torrent with blast was a fucking mistake.
>>98922839Think bigger>add Hippogriff Commander datasheet (it's the same, but it can give orders to squadron units)>add a multi-build kit based off the Centaur (but with wheels now) that can be built into a Katyusha rocket truck or something like a Deacon gun carrier>new recon car that just has a heavy stubber or a storm bolter on a pintle mount like a Kubelwagen/Jeep, give it the Immolator squad-splitting abilityIf we really want this car to be unfun AIDs, give it Infiltrators and let that apply to any units that start in it.>make a Recon detachment specifically for armored car memes, name it something like "Armoured Cavalry" that gives buffs to movementOr just play Bolt Action with a North Africa themed game, that's the same experience.
>>98922782You can skip the contrast slop
>>98922864They need to go to max 5 or 3/6s.
Can somebody recommend me some nice spruce clippers? I’d rather not be stuck with chinesium clippers and pay a little extra (within reason) for something better. My Tamiya ones are starting to get a little rusty and the blade edges are chipping.
>>98922864its used to be cute when it was something like deathwing or grey knights but nowadays that like half the factions can just spam them its just wondering which flavor of bullshit its this time. If GWs had minimal integrity and axed deathwatch as they should've then we wouldn't have to worry about superkilly 5man bricks too. Hopefully December is the great space marine rapefest
>>98922916I’ll try and check it out, thank you.
>>98922916Yo if he actually fucks off because of you I'll paint a mini or something in your honour
>>98922911He can't even handle a paintbrush, how can we expect him to handle any criticism whatsoever?
>>98922912Tamiya flatsided nippers, mine has served me extremely well for years. Also, God Hand are a meme.
>>98922960To elaborate, god hand are expressly not supposed to be used on anything thicker than 5mm (or they'll get damaged). So they're ONLY for clipping bits off sprues, no conversion work like removing hands or snipping off those slotta nubs on ETB minis.Considering the fact that with GW's minis you're gonna be cleaning up mold lines anyway, god hand gives very slight benefit but comes with serious practical limitations.
>>98919828Who tf is the mutant?
>>98922864Surely they are vulnerable to AP-2 D1d6 guns
I don't feel like making an IG list, their codex is yet unreleased I don't feel like making a Tau list, their codex is yet unreleased I don't feel like making an AdMech list, their codex is yet unreleased
>>98922997Guess you're rolling Space Marines again. Have you tried all 1000 combinations yet?
>>98922988You see the shitstorm the thread become? That's the mutant
>>98922991>AP-22+ armor save or 4+ invuln save on terminatorsEverything is a 50% chance to hit at bestDevastating Wounds is more effective en masse (ie Leman Russ Punisher)
>>98922988You are, you fucking waste of space, I hope the janny bans your ass after you have another self rightous shitposting spree for the 300th time this year. You fucking loser.
Anyone got female krieg art?
>>98922912Why bother when you're going to have to clean up with a knife and sandpaper anyway? Or are you animals skipping those steps?
>>98922969That is good info, thanks. Considering I love converting/kitbashing and my current two sets of nippers are all dodgy due to me being a bit cheeky using them on thicker shit and even metal, godhand definitely don't sound suitable. I'd just heard a few positive opinions of them online and thought they'd be hardier, sounds like they're just sharper but made of a softer material?
Man this is almost as sad as the raid he tried and failed to organize from reddit
>>98923027
>>98922839The heretic fears the Leman Russ Rooikat
>>98923025NTA, but to add on. I'm an electrician. A pair of flush cutters is what I use for cutting pieces off of the sprue. For conversions and heavy cutting just buy a pair of side cutters.I have never used god hands. But if you pay that money for a pair of clippers you are just straight up fucking stupid.
>>98922960Don't be a /pol/faggot retard
>>98923055Can the mods delete this inflammatory garbage please?
>>98923176The only thing inflamed by this image is your booty
>>98923025They're first and foremost gunpla nippers, and gunpla kits are really smart about bit topology and sprue placement, so you need to do little to no mold line cleanup after snipping them off the sprue. This makes the sprue nub connection the only obvious spot to optimize for a clean cut, thus god hand being designed to be excellent at that.
>>98923104The ones I was looking at were still a reasonable price, just tacked on $20 for shipping which was giving me pause. I have a cycle of sending old nippers to the "heavier jobs" bin when they get a bit blunt.
>>98923182Hey man, be nice. Diaper rash is no joke!
>>98923200That's what the side cutters are for. Anything that isnt a gate doesn't need a clean cut.And if it does. Why the fuck are you not using a saw.
So wtih massive wave of SM/IG/SoB/Custodes/AdMech/Knights players suicides incomming when GW will adjust to the new markets demand?
Given Helmawr does this with his own troops, is/could it be imperial custom for planetary governors to send personal troops to the imperial guard, as some sort of 'X's Own' regiment?
>>98923243Sure, why not
>>98923243Anything is possible. Both a planet that has a strong martial tradition and tithes planetary governor's personal elite troops as a part of the larger regimental tithe, and a planet where the governor is miserly with his bodyguards and only tithes conscripted underhive gangers literally whipped into shape by comissars.
Greened one of my a-wings, its satisfying how quick it is to paint these ships compared to something in 28mm.
>>98923359Cool plane, anon, but this is a 40k thread.
>>98923359Based. I did the same with one of mine.
>>98923359I need to force my friends to play X-Wing again.
>>98923002It's so many options, I'm not sure what I want.Maybe the transported infantry one.
>>98923004Terminators are being deployed in full units of 10 nowadays, so they'll trigger blast. That's multiple hits. Even 5 triggers it. There's gotta be weapons like that.Maybe also Autocannons? I don't know the profiles. Like 90% of codices are unreleased. How can we have a new edition with no codices?!Such blatant marine protagonism. Though it's no longer the ones the setting was created for - those guys got squatted!
You guys working on stuff?
Real nomodles hours
>>98922852That takes a 5/10 to a 9/10 in my book.

When did the term no models show up, it used to be secondary.
>>98923462It's a fecalfag special
>>98923424I read that as noodles hours. I could go for some ramen. Fatty pork with heavy garlic, yum
>>98923365ty.>>98923366It was the only mini that I ended up with two identically painted ones (I was pretty good at single sourcing all my other ships) so I finally got around to making it look perty.>>98923373Thats what im planning. Working on sifting through my cardboard to cherry pick a good experience.
>>98923465>Working on sifting through my cardboard to cherry pick a good experience. That's something I would say was a weakness of X-Wing. It needed more pre-built scenarios with either completely or semi pre-built squadrons. The rules themselves are very casually approachable but then you need to spend forever figuring out what combination of ships/pilots/upgrades will actually produce a fun even game.
>>98920859You have a WAAC mindset. >Nooo! Why can't I only take the best units. This is so unfair! My crusader squads in 4th carried more battles than I can count.
>>98923472I was the master at this back in 2015 when the star wars movie came out; I could explain the rules in 7 minutes. I as the proprietor of all the ships, I only ever bought movie ships, plus one or two EU ships so long as they felt they belonged. None of the "this could have been from firefly" type stuff. Id ask people what their favorite ships/characters are, then dole out cards to match. After their first few games, I have a box like this for empire and rebels, which really got the game rolling fast. I could just hand over the faction with all the stuff they needed, then put the upgrades in the middle of the table. I think x wings biggest weakness was their inability to enshitify their own game cause they couldn't stop themselves. It really needs a curated experience to be the most enjoyable. But the mechanics are just so fun.
>>98923365We need to get some Aeronautica Imperialis going in here
just bought almost entire speed freak range used off facebook marketplace, well he has everything but the bikesI guess I could buy some new bikes thenhow many bikes do I want?

>>98922626Never brush-paint pure white. Spray prime off-white, then highlight with white instead.
>>98923587Have you actually read the rules? You can get banned for literally no reason.By the way don't argue back with mods, talk about mod decisions or criticise the mods, that's a ban. They also do this faggot shit of a 3 day, so it's annoying but you can't appeal.Nice anarchic freedom of speech site moot
>>98923587I have been banned multiple times for racism. Kinda proud of that ngl.

Someone else make a new thread. I dont really feel like doing it anymore.
>check the app for Legends units>still no Legends data sheet for the classic Tactical/Assault/Devastator SquadVery gay. I know proxying is now an officially supported option. But I think it bad for the soul the you now have to go to a previous edition to officially field a Tactical Squad in 40k.
>>98923587I've gotten banned for saying jeet before, or for mentioning the direct correlation between GW's politics and 40K's aura loss
>>98923423>You guys working on stuff?GW fucking up rules and deleting a whole bunch of shit both rules and model lines killed my drive to do more
>>98923433Am I insane or do these actually look super cool without heads
>>98923720>t. dullahan
DID SOMEONE SAY DULLAHANPOSTING
Are orks lenient to paint? By that I mean, not if they're easy to paint per se, but that if I'm bad at painting, can't seem to stay in the lines, will slip, am messy, does that matter to them or does it just add a character to the orks?
>>98923747Wrong game, broski. Infinity General is two threads down.
>>98923756wtf that goes crazy hard, why doesn't James do shit like this
>>98923759Because they're bri'ish, and the bri'ish idea of flavor is wet toast.
>>98923756Hey, we have kitty cat helmet bike riders in here too.
>>98921522Honestly one of the main things I expected them to do with 11th is fix combat patrol and make it actually work. Spearhead has been hard carrying an otherwise pretty badly received edition for AoS, so I thought they would want to get in in that action with 40k. Guess not.
>>98921434land raider is cool tho
>>98923846Had*And still not nearly as good
>>98923748bros?
Show me the best painted Dark Reaper model you've seen.It doesn't need to be one of those hyper detailed painted models, just the best you've seen and possibly saved.
>>98921523How much would the AM SC box go for now? Still have one under the bed somewhere.
>do two thin coats of flesh colour>coat it in fleshshade>it looks like shit instead of being nicely recessedWTF BROS
>ak is le bad because they provided instructions on how to model things in the hobby about modellingHoly fuck are some people only into this hobby to buy things?
>>98923900"Flesh shade" has to be the biggest scam ever since it's a horrid orange colour and looks like crap.
>>98923900just layer up from a reddish pink basecoat :^)
>>98923720you are insane, it's not cult of the unheaded emperor. It's not cult of the four armed emperor as well, they're the ultramarines of GSC.
>>98923866They have no idea what to make of 11th as of yet, they thought of bumping the marines and orks but did not bother playtesting or how such changes would effect their interaction with the rest of the game. Hence they just gave up and taking notes of how things are currently playing out. There's a reason why they delayed the codex launches, for they just don't know. Now combat patrol to be decent needs an entire rework, datasheets and rules need to be rewritten entirely to not have 40k-lite rules and be the unbalanced piece of shit it is. But what hope does it have when the core game is shit in the first place.
