Really good. All of the top-tier attack types right now are 37.5 to 39+ grams.
Hasbro's Wyvern Hover is the exception, it's still in the 36 range because it's "supposed" to be a stamina type, but its shape is so ridiculous that it's better at attack.

3-60 is the only viable part in that image. Brave Jaggy is okay, but it'll be the weakest link in your deck compared to the other two. It just doesn't hit hard enough and has terrible stamina.

fellas, with the impending dooming arrival of Red Aeropegasus, I'm asking, even if it's not sure that is going to be the next prize, should I scan all my codes into my main account to search for him and Valkyrie or there is really no meaning in doing that since a new acc for each new code let's you roll 7-10 times extra depending on your pass data? Because the long standing rumor I heard was "the more you scan on your account the better the odds for the prize Beys", but honestly my main even with a healthy dose of products never pulled jack, while sometimes a burner account pulled in a row some Exchanges (like with Mammoth), but neither of them the real big prize. In the end the question is, has anyone ever pulled a prize from a single Bey burner account or the more products = better chances rumor is real?
Thanks in advance guys

I have to put it to the test against other people but my Tyranno Beat combo with 2-60 hits really hard and rarely bursts.
I believe you need to use it with a blade that covers it so it's not a liability but in exchange you get what seems to be double 1-60 at 75 percent.

My team got decimated by Hover Wyvern. I was using Beat Tyranno 1-60 K, Soar Phoenix 3-60 L and Cobalt Dragoon 5-60 E. Meanwhile my locals was using a lot of Hover Wyvern and Dark Perseus.

Idk, is my team just too common that everyone knows how to beat it? I don't know what I should change up.
>>
>>11517652
Dragoon's biggest weakness is bursting, Hover is the best at bursting in the game now. There's not much you can do for that matchup.
The bits you had on the other two don't work well for them. Tyranno Beat should've been on Rush, and Phoenix Wing should've been on Low Rush.

suruga-ya usually has the standalone stadium or the cx stadium set for a decent price, theres free shipping right now but it ends tomorrow (they do free shipping periods pretty frequently). The standalone stadium during free shipping should be like $40-50 after taxes and fees. Anon you quoted here, glad to see it worked out.

>but I want to use HellsBlast Slash 3-60LR, would it do better than Phoenix?
I don't know about better, but comparable. Phoenix Wing would technically be the safer choice if you want the best odds of winning again, but Blast is really fun. Test both of them into Rod and Dragoon and see which does better and which you like more in those matchups since those are the most common Beys you'll see later into the tournament.
In my experience, PW has a really tough time into Dragoon E, but Blast has the ability to both KO and outspin it pretty consistently.

>I wanted to keep Tyranno in my deck since it's my favorite and has won me so many clutch matches
I know what you mean, Tyranno Beat is really good. It can do things Phoenix Wing can't in certain matchups.
It just comes down to preference. Do practice matches against the typical Dragoon/Wing/Rod deck and see how yours compares. I usually test a specific combo against each of them 10 times to see if it can come out positive.

I got shit on, went 0-5 with HellsBlast, so I am definitely putting it on the backburner and putting in Phoenix Wing, but I'm not sure what I should go with, 3-60 LR or 3-60 P. Point has worked wonders in the past but LR is LR. The other two, Beat Tyranno 1-60 R and Cobalt Dragoon 5-60 E were great. But losing that hard has me shook, I dont know if I should keep using the hold launcher or switch to the launcher + grip set up. decisions like that can make a huge diff and Im indecisive

I have no love for MF (grew up on plastic gen and then completely forgot about it until late burst/early X) but whenever I tried looking into those designs this was always the one that stood out to me aesthetically. I usually ignore the Xover beys but this would be an easy pickup.

>I'm hoping Merge plus M85 can do some tomfoolery like Flame 230 CoatSharp
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w__N3v1Q6VE
m85 bursts too easily, but 0-80 shows promise.
>>
>>11525985
Same for me with Horogium but my issue with X as of now, and why they can't properly adapt Horogium, is that they decided to make assist blades plastic. The gimmick of shifting weight balance was really cool.
It would've been the perfect time to let Horogium be a Rod-level cancer again and give the X-Over, it's X-Over..., subline a second win after Draciel.
>>
>>11526306
I forgot to ask, and people seemed to forget to figure out as well, but what is 0-80 for? Looking at it again, it seems to be meant to draw the weight balance closer to the center, as opposed to 2, 1, and 7 ratchets and similar to 9 but heavier.
>>
>>11527415
That'd be my guess, or something similar. It's technically a 3-ratchet, but the tabs are angled downward instead of outward. Until m85, it was definitely the heaviest ratchet, too. Heavy, more inward weight, with a smooth outer ring, I guess it's a good defensive ratchet? I don't really think too hard on these sorts of things besides "looks cook, lets try it"

Heyo. I really liked Beyblade as a kid (early burst gen), but, as I grew up in a Hasbro region, I obviously lost passion very quickly. Thinking about the endless tacky bullshit gimmicks still makes me shiver. The Great Algorithm has fed me down the Beyblade Pipeline again, and now I'm quite interested in the game again. How much strategy is there? Obviously, there's launch, build, counterplay, etc, but is there actually enough skill expression to be enjoyable? On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate it, where 1 is "what normies think beyblade is" and 10 is "peak pokemon tcg gameplay"?

sorry to bother you guys
>>
>>11531890
"peak pokemon tcg gameplay" is weird cause pokemon tcg gameplay was never peak. hell, Beyblade X has more interaction that pokemon tcg does.

but to answer the question, there's plenty of skill impression. Did you make the deck yourself? Are you following meta or using your favorites? what launcher are you gonna use? Grip or no grip? How are you gonna hold it, and how are you gonna launch it? Gonna be the kind of guy that throws hard or soft launches with a particular drop you like to do?

Everyone knows me as the Beat Tyranno user since I always use my red one, and it does well 85% of time, people fear it
>>
>>11531890
>On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate it, where 1 is "what normies think beyblade is" and 10 is "peak pokemon tcg gameplay"?
It's nothing like what normies think it is. "Haha just pull hard and it's all luck and no skill from there" is always from people who've never played and have no idea what they're talking about.

There is a certain bit of randomness like in any game, but there are ways to minimize it just like in any other game. You can control where where the Bey lands, where it goes, and how it moves with practice. A lot of Beyblade's skill comes from launch technique. There are ways you can launch that yield consistent, repeatable patterns, and your launch tech depends both on what Bey you're putting up, and what your opponent is putting up. Even the side of the stadium you're on matters this gen, so it's not as simple as people think it is.

It's a really fun game, though. Check out these videos to see how changing your launch affects things.

woah

This looks really cool

I still don't know though. It seems marginally less expensive than MTG, so it's a big commitment. Maybe I'll see if I can go to a tournament and borrow a few to test. I also have some shitty Hascuck burst beyblades somewhere that I need to euthanise, so that should probably be my first priority. I also need to see if any of my friends are interested, because otherwise there's probably not much point.

>>11531973
ESL or retarded, one or the other. "the fact that your turn isn't actually your turn is good game design actually!!!!1!!!!!!!". Also, I never said PTCG was peak, I said that (given the number of tutors), there was a lot of skill expression in a good format.

I need to test this matchup more but it's probably even. Interesting that your scene switched to Rod hexa which I think mostly loses to Dragoon elevate still. Rod hexa is great but Rod elevate/level would be the better counter (although Rod hexa gives better coverage to same spin matchups).
>>11533017
Fair lol but its true, Rod level is like a sturdier, more aggressive version of Rod rush with the bonus of outspinning Dragoon elevate. Other good options are Phoenix Wing, Tyranno Beat, Knight Mail, Whale Wave and Cobalt Dragoon. Dragoon level is a fun alternative to elevate.

>>11533720
I mean nothing's stopping you from talking about the games (barring the fact a lot of plastic gens are in Japanese) or the anime for that matter. Yeah we talk about the merchandise a lot, but it's pretty much a beyblade general for everyone about Beyblade in some way.
>>
>>11533910
normie here, what more to the game is there than just building a good beyblade? sure there's reading your opponent and counterpicking but is it really even that strategic? even at the highest level it just looks like chaos
>>
>>11534233
Someone mentioned it not that far above, but how and where you launch your bey are a factor as well. For instance you wouldn't want to put all your power into your launch as a stamina type because it may cause it to run wild and accidentally self destruct or burst. Certain bits (the tips that determine a beyblade's behavior) are built for the sole purpose of performing a specific way depending if you launch flat or angled, mostly balance type bits.

>sure there's reading your opponent and counterpicking
I've not participated in any tournaments myself, but from what I've seen on the official YouTube and seeing tournaments live, you can't exactly counterpick. You pick three beyblades and label them as 1 2 and 3. Normally they're kept in a container so your opponent won't know what you have until it hits the staidum; so each battle is supposed to be a blind pick because your opponent doesn't keep using their beyblade even after they win. You both swap out for the next one after each battle. So all in all you have to trust in your own setups and understand the conditions your beyblades need to be in in order to win.

>what more to the game is there than just building a good beyblade?
Just running stock loadouts and playing for the fun of it? That's all I do. I buy these things and take them out to a bar so other adults can play with them too. Beyblade was a fun part of my childhood that I got back into as an adult with the previous generation, Burst. Even now I see people's faces light up when they catch a beyblade setup and they'll either stop to watch or ask to participate.
>>
>>11534242
By counterpicking, i mean predicting which bey they'll use next. Like, if your opponent needs only one point to win, you use an attack type, since they'll most likely go for a spin finish with a stamina type. But thanks for the info. I'll consider it.
>>
>>11534295
Again, it’s all blind and it’s all in a specific order. You can’t go “Imma use 2 3 then 1’ or ‘I won with my 3rd bey so I’ll use my second.’ It’s always 1 2 3 1 2 3, you’re not allowed to deviate. That’s why I called it blind picking. Whatever order you set your Beyblade in is the order you’re stuck to regardless of what your opponent used prior and same goes for them (and if I’m wrong on these rules, someone feel free to correct because this is merely a conclusion I gained from observation). So you may end up getting screwed over all three times because you placed your Beyblade in the wrong order. Ah well.
>>

>Whatever order you set your Beyblade in is the order you’re stuck to
>and if I’m wrong on these rules, someone feel free to correct because this is merely a conclusion I gained from observation
You are wrong. You're allowed to shuffle your deck after your third Bey has been used, you're not just stuck in the same order for the whole match. For example, if your deck order is Cobalt Dragoon, Phoenix Wing, Wizard Rod, and you've gone through all three of them before the point total has been reached, you can set them in any order you want and go again. Like the other anon said, if after you've used your third bey and only need one more point to win, you can put Wizard Rod in slot 1, even though you started the match with it in slot 3.

>So you may end up getting screwed over all three times because you placed your Beyblade in the wrong order.
That's where the counterpicking comes in. Predicting what your opponent is going to lead with and shuffling your deck accordingly.
>>
>>11534322
>Scorpio Spear
1-60 Low Rush
7-60 Level / Kick
9-60 Hexa / Wedge
>Samurai Saber
9-60 Hexa. Samurai Saber kind of sucks, so there's not much you can do with it.
>Wand Wizard 1-60 but idk if on H or B
1-60 Hexa or 9-60 /3-60 Ball
>>
>>11534409
So a shuffle is allowed provided the match isn’t a complete shut out. Thanks for clarifying. Most I noticed is that when bladers picked their order they stayed in that order and couldn’t deviate.
>>
>>11534492
>Most I noticed is that when bladers picked their order they stayed in that order and couldn’t deviate.
You're more likely to see that in tournaments that only play to 4 points because you just get there faster and there's no chance to reorder. But when playing to 5 or 7 points, it's common to cycle through all three beys and still not have enough yet. That's when you can change your order.

I want to put a 1-*0 on wizard rod with hexa and another 1-*0 on my pegasus blast slash with low flat.

I wouldn't risk it. 1-60 Hexa is the big Rod build right now because it lets it beat Dragoon and just about everything else besides traditional stamina Rods.
